In prison, a cell is very small, the cells are made of grey cinder blocks, and the corners are pretty close to each other. I like the idea of prison because death means no time to consider how what they've done gets them punished. I think punishment is a good thing sometimes, and torture is not necessary. Taking extremely wealthy men who have had a very cushy life while harming lots of other people, and putting them in a prison cell, no frills, no freedom, not much of anything... that's pretty harsh right there. We torture, we become like them. I sure as hell don't want to become like them, even if I am enraged every single day about what is going on. I can feel that desire to punish, but I don't want to become hard-hearted NOW! After all we've been through, do we really want to throw away our humanity? It's not about THEM, it's about US. We don't have to feel compassion for them, we just have to protect OUR HEARTS. For the future. I say, Lock 'em up, toss the key, give 'em enough to be humane, and nothing more. And then FORGET 'em-- A psychopath thrives on being "superior." If we forget them, it's the worst punishment they could have... Their delusions will punish them for us.

While the lawyers make hay in fees and the press makes hay in squid ink over these huge and sweeping lawsuits, what really happens is the larger players negotiate a bunch of settlements via class-actions that result in pennies for the proles, while smaller players get eaten up, further destroying healthcare and other industries snared in litigation dragnets.
Those with real injuries will apply through the existing channels of federal money for vaccine injury which was created when the pharma companies were granted immunity.
Again, Congress will be brave and greatly expand these public funds and create new departments (bureaucracies) to administer the swelling claims.
The tyranny will roll on. The "government" will not prosecute their own. The systemic rot is so deep and so widespread that in order to even ponder some meaningful resolution of justice one must jump from the Overton window headfirst. Not happening.
In times like this, with "government" like this, history demonstrates that its more tyranny and oppression, like genocide war and famine, or its heads on pikes.
