I’m a multi-faceted extremist according to Biden, and darn proud of it!!!!! 😂. I’ve always been a bit anti-authority and the sky will be full of pigs while hell is frozen over long before Joe Biden is going to convince me to join his revolution of lunacy and destruction.
It’s not just the unvaccinated. Their little woke movement is failing. Probably because the people they are attempting to other is actually a majority of the population. Here is the full list of “extremist villains” in the Biden book of enemies - white men, Christians, straight people, anyone opposing lockdowns, anyone opposing school closures, anyone opposing BLM riots, families, children, the “unvaccinated,” parents opposing the sexualization of their young children, parents who send their kids to private religious schools, anyone who voted for Trump, and Republicans. At this point 70%+ of the population is some form of extremist per Joe Biden and his woke mass.
I would submit (and hope) that only a small percentage are buying it. To all but the most strident TDS types who can't think on their own, this just sounds like divisive rhetoric and cheapens Biden as a "leader." Hell, I even think Sam Harris would find that rhetoric a bit over the top. At least, so I would hope.
I agree, but calling out the insanity loudly is important to ensure the go along to get along crowd isn’t mislead into only hearing the voices of the lunatics.
I think with 'straight people' alone you're already at 90+%... then, there are gay white men, and gay Christians, gays opposed to lockdowns/BLM/sexualization of children... your list I'd say makes 95-98% of the population extremist by Biden's definition.
Yeah, but the minority who are in the othered groups in the woke mass treat it as their original sin as they dutifully perform their rituals of injecting their children with experimental big pharmacy subscriptions and dawn their BLM masks they days they are brave enough to leave home and attend a temper tantrum rally or get another jab. 😂
Well said, NCMom. My thought was as I watched, why is he (and his handlers), trying to start a war by calling the majority "extremists"? What could possibly be the motive to say such stupid-ass things if he wasn't trying to manipulate people into fighting? Then, taking it one step further, what do he and his left-wingnuts gain by having a mass disruption? Hmmmmm. More dictatorial powers for Comrade Brandon. These people are power-hungry.
You must consider that [they] fear losing power more than anything. [They] know if Trump comes back, he will come after [them] with a vengeance, and when the fullness of their evildoing is exposed, [they] will never have power again.
So [they] are acting out of fear, in haste, and making strategic blunders, unforced errors. We are their worst nightmare.
Exactly. Notice how the minute a special master was appointed by a judge to oversee the FBI MAL shenanigans, the DOJ opened a new grand jury on other "criminal matters" regarding Trump today.
I think is a very small amount of people who will follow the senile old man. They might scream yes but I don't think they are brave enough to do something. We survived 4 years of trump, we will survive 4 years of brandon. Or course, only God knows who will follow up. If we have to choose between 2 senile old men, or will someone with brains try to get into the WH? it has been some time...
We vote, but it should be on paper ballots and hand counted. Make the election for federal offices a national holiday with no mail-in ballots, and absentee ballots for bed-ridden and overseas military only. Elections are only as good as the PEOPLE (not machines) counting the votes.
“Jefferson freed two of his slaves while he lived; seven others were freed after his death. Jefferson consistently spoke out against the international slave trade and outlawed it while he was president. He privately advocated gradual emancipation and colonization of slaves already in the United States, rather than immediate manumission.”
This is a complex problem that many slaves faced when suddenly liberated without any means of supporting themselves. Thomas Sowell discusses it as follows:
“Among those who turned against slavery in the 18th century were George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Patrick Henry and other American leaders. You could research all of the 18th century Africa or Asia or the Middle East without finding any comparable rejection of slavery there. But who is singled out for scathing criticism today? American leaders of the 18th century.
“Deciding that slavery was wrong was much easier than deciding what to do with millions of people from another continent, of another race, and without any historical preparation for living as free citizens in a society like that of the United States, where they were 20 percent of the population.
“It is clear from the private correspondence of Washington, Jefferson, and many others that their moral rejection of slavery was unambiguous, but the practical question of what to do now had them baffled. That would remain so for more than half a century.”
The last country to outlaw slavery as an acceptable, legal institution was Mauritania in West Africa...in 1981. Slavery has been with humanity from the beginning. Every group has been the enslaver or the enslaved. William Wilberforce (a white, Christian Englishman) began the European movement to end slavery as a legal institution. And, after slavery was outlawed in Great Britain, the Royal Navy ran down European slave ships headed to the Americas. Slavery is still practiced openly, if not legally, in much of the world.
It's kinda bizarre that so many Americans focus on the North Atlantic slave trade and America's Founding Fathers, while ignoring the plight of Uyghurs in Chinese slave camps. They should think about that when they're buying their next pair of Nikes, right?
American children (and adults) really need to learn the true history of slavery.
And let's not forget that it was the Dem godhead Obama and his pet harpy Hillary who destroyed Libya, then the wealthiest country in Africa, so that West Africans are once again being sold as slaves on the docs of Tripoli.
Thomas Sowell is a mighty important viewpoint that few bother to read. Slavery in America followed indentured servitude which was a way to pay debt. While today we might think that our notion of wages was fair, in a barter world such was unknown. Those imported people from less civilized (per the times) were often liabilities in society and needed care, by standards of the time. And by the mid 1800's the economics of slavery aside from the morality would have doomed it anyway but that had been foreseen earlier. Applying modern life to the mid 1860's is ridiculous as Sowell well observes.
So....isn’t the human trafficking of children and adults who cross our southern border without legal documents and at the behest of the cartels (and arguably the predators in the federal bureaucracy) who control large swaths (all?) of that border a form of slavery? (And so many other crimes...)
Good points MAA and TS. By the 1830s most southern states had made it almost impossible for slave owners to grant freedom to their slaves; approval by the state legislature was required in many states. Slave owners were most often inclined to grant freedom to their bastard children, i.e. those conceived by rape of female slaves. (And the south took a sort of jewish point of view: any person born of an enslaved woman was a slave.) Consequently, fear increased of a class of mixed race of free, not economically productive persons (TS) congregating in southern cities. It's a nasty and complex history.
It took him decades to free his own children by Sally Hemings and she'd had to negotiate that future eventuality before returning from Paris to Montecello with him.
We don't need a full history of his thoughts here. Just the actions of the man himself under circumstances he controlled.
Fair enough, but dismissing his valuable contributions, instructive words, and courageous resistance to tyranny is applying Cancel Culture retroactively while simultaneously failing to acknowledge that he actually took a stronger stance against slavery than his contemporaries. Projecting twenty-first–century values onto historical contexts is Wokeism 101.
Only if you forget we are talking about hundreds of years ago. You cannot judge the actions of those long ago in the context of today. It’s a fallacy to do so.
Brandon and his little woke mass have othered as extremist - those opposing lockdowns, traditional families, all conservatives, children not wanting to wear a face diaper, parents who opposed school closures, parents who don’t send their kids to woke schools, white men, Christians, those who are pro-life, anyone who voted for Trump, anyone who opposes endless foreign military intervention, anyone who supports Tulsi Gabbard, parents opposing sexualization of their 5 year olds, and all Republicans in addition to the unvaccinated.
We are Spain right before the Civil war in 1936. The Nationalists woke up and found the judges had been changed out, purges in law enforcement and law was not equally enforced. Elections were being questioned as the left leaning popular front took over.
As much as you claim we must ignore them, one at a time our business is shut down. Our licenses require us to be repeatedly injected or find another line of work. We are fired for not wearing our party ornaments and loudly explaining our party allegiance.
and they continue to suck up the federal dollars both at the state and local levels in efforts to compete, nay make obsolete the private sector in effort to grow the cancerous state of whatever the government has become where they take in whatever money they can grow themselves and become a giant sink on society in hopes we outsource our entire lives to them. I'm amazed when some local group or school or project gets "so many millions in funding" and everyone cheers not realizing they're only feeding the monster that keeps us debt slaves
You don't need a computer to learn most all computer science. It can be done with pencil, eraser, paper and whiteboard. True, this may not be as gratifying to some students.
CS is math applied to solving problems and producing algorithms. A student can learn to write code and pseudo code snippets and then use mathematical proofs to establish correctness, function and optimization. Quite a few of my courses were administered in this manner.

School population has gone ~3x the # of students since inception utilizing the same facilities built in the '50s but something tells me the money they take in is not linear, nor is the administrative growth. Explaining to do Lucy.
Point duly noted regarding rebuttal stipulations on the bare necessities of CS.
Or, it's "a prison gang protection racket" but the warden and the guards are all loyal to the Crips, so the other gangs can preen and threaten but we all know who gets thrown in the hole if they act out and who doesn't.
This is why I stopped listening to anything the MSM puts out, long before the “pandemic.” The backbiting, the hectoring, the accusatory epithets: none of it means anything to me, particularly and especially when it comes from the walking talking fossil in the White House. I know plenty about what he is and to me, he has absolutely no moral authority to lecture me. Nor do any of the cretins in the Democrat party. I am well aware of what they are trying to do - divide and conquer - and I’m not playing along.
If the media were not owned by the same oligarchy trying to divide and control us, this sham of a president would quickly fade to obscurity. His hectoring does nothing good for our country and exposes him for the fraud that he is.
“Too much that’s happening in our country is not normal…” ya think? What a douche. “Winter of death for the unvaccinated…” seriously. What dystopian nightmare are we all living in?
But unfortunately it's unavoidable to be on defense when you have a legitimately fascist entity like the biden regime attacking you with the aim to destroy you, your family, and your livelihood.
Just the single aspect of the covid/"vaccine" tyranny...
All personal and professional development that we would have normally engaged in had to be put on the back burner while we fought the "vaccine" tyrants. We've lost two years of our lives and made no progress. Always on the back foot, always waiting for the other shoe to drop to parry another attack. Would it be nice to laugh and say 'fuck you, you can't tell me what to do.'? yes. Was it possible? Yes, but only with near herculean faith and effort and support from brave fellow travelers..
So I respectfully disagree with gato that we need to ignore this trash. Though I desperately would love to...
Tyrants must be held to account, we must be provided justice. Otherwise, we will always be looking over our shoulder.
I don’t think El Gato is telling us to bury our heads in the sand. I think he means for us to be aware of the reality of what the country is and the machinations involved, but to live our lives as best we can.
what i am saying is that getting caught in the endless war of party on party traps us in a negative sum process in which each seeks to generate ever greater outrage such that the other may save us from them. it works like 2 pistons driving the same engine and it prevents any sort of framing that does not involve "having a party/government to save us from danger."
they are just taking turns being bankrobber and sheriff but there is no real good guy in a system of government this powerful. they cannot be.
america is not government. america is we the people. and we must rediscover and reclaim this or america will be lost.
playing their game allows them to set the rules.
we must instead play our own and go our own way. without them.
The Overton window has now moved enough, thanks to overreach like the Mar-a-Lago raid, that the normies are now open to closing down parts of the FedGov. The more that Biden and his clown show keep up the outrageous behavior, the more public opinion moves toward getting rid of the whole corrupt mess.
I never would have thought this possible in my lifetime, but here we are. Thanks for helping us keep everything in perspective, Gato. Excellent kitty.
Wild Bill, I remember the New York Post opinion piece about disbanding the CDC, but can you link to any source that attributes such a shift in the Overton window *specifically* to the Mar-a-Lago raid?
Actually Brian I don't have an authoritative reference that says that. It is my opinion, strongly based on comments I have heard from numerous directions. I don't even know how one would quantify the Overton window, or link it to a specific event. From the Mackinac Center, where it was born:
But the Overton Window can both shift and expand, either increasing or shrinking the number of ideas politicians can support without unduly risking their electoral support. Sometimes politicians can move the Overton Window themselves by courageously endorsing a policy lying outside the window, but this is rare. More often, the window moves based on a much more complex and dynamic phenomenon, one that is not easily controlled from on high: the slow evolution of societal values and norms.
What is going on is that the normies are getting red-pilled by all of this outrageous behavior; while in the past what [they] were up to was not mentioned on the MSM, the Mar-a-Lago raid was. While the 'Red Sermon' speech was not carried live on the MSM, it has gotten coverage today. And there have been ex-normies talking about 'defunding the FBI' and such things. These are people who haven't been very politically active before, spending most of their energy working and raising families and so on. Now they are concerned about governmental overreach.
Yup. I have zero faith in a fealty system, where we must pledge allegiance to someone that is profiting off the same trough as those that aim to oppress us.
This belief that we will perish without some benefactor to "protect" is from evil is fraudulent....but it only becomes a concrete idea if enough of us start to refuse the system...
Call me cynical, but I don't see that happening anytime soon outside substack...
Or think of the opening scene of “The Sting,” where Robert Redford, Jack Keogh and Robert Earl Jones play act the alley robbery to steal the money from Robert Shaw’s henchman. Clever ploy if you’re looking for it.
And I believe there’s a song to go with it. Can’t think of the song or name this moment. Bad Cattitude could, I bet. Was it Pink Floyd?...Probably a lot of songs.
"consider the possibility that the american dream is alive and that 80% of america is totally fine apart from being trapped between warring gangs of government whose incessant shaking of the jar is nothing but a calculated attempt to stir us into fighting one another that they may continue to dominate discourse and rule us for fun and profit."
And for killing.
The regime is not America. America would thrive without it.
The Biden Red Speech must remind oneself that everything they are claiming is actually in reverse. They are guilty of everything they accuse. They have continued to claim that one group wants “civil war”. WHAT????????? I dare say they want a civil war, or something they can call it, only one act of some crime will do. They will call Marshall Law and consequently, the elections will be directed or canceled by Marshall Law or something!Americans do not want civil war. Stay calm-love your neighbor and understand the theatrics that are also unfortunately and historically familiar!
I'm trying to pick a breed of chicken to keep. When tired, I go back to saying eggs are still cheap -- even from the organic kindness provider -- in the face of rising food costs, & wtf am I doing getting still more critters to care for.
Then I get rested & remind myself that I found a free small flock of 4 hens, 3 in the breed I chose & 1 close relative.
Then I remind myself of the article I read about chickens getting stolen in hard times & what if... But if I don't get a rooster to protect them from predators then neighbors won't even know I have them. But if I do get a rooster, everybody for a mile around will know, but the girls will be safer from bobcats, racoons, coyotes, wolves, etc. But if I give the neighbors eggs, & there will be extra eggs, then maybe they'll leave my girls alone.
Oh, our Demented Pedophile Grifter in Chief gave a speech? And slandered 50% of the country? 😫
And then I discovered another breed that is really nice...maybe better than the one I settled on. That kills mice.. which could be very useful. That's 2 heritage breeds that could use a boost, but then I have to raise them from day-old chicks, do expense, work, risk for 6+ months before any eggs... & on & on & on it goes....
I love to listen to hens. When the farm store gets chicks snd ducklings in in the spring I go and stand by them and listen and smile. Take a video. They cheep life and goodness to me. 😊
Just got me some chickens this spring. 6 hens and one cock-a-doodler. Did the math... happy hens lay 200 per year, times 6 hens is 100 a month, three-ish a day. Which is what we use. 1200 eggs a year is 100 dozen, or about $500/yr saved. I built a coop and a run for them. It is the chicken-fricken-Taj Mahal.. heated, insulated, fenced, covered. I figure I'll break even in 7 years! But, we got dem eggs comin'.
Starving invaders will have to get past the dogs first. LOL
I have a 12x12 stall waiting. No ac or heat, but they will have everything up to a kiddie pool. Free range, opens to small orchard with 1.5+ acres pasture. 1st apple tree literally covers the entrance. I will likely get barred rocks, who are predator savvy & hidden from hawks when under trees.
I would like dominiques, who look a lot like barred rocks, but a little smaller, great foragers, very predator savvy & were "Great Depression" birds. Just read about Buckeyes, who eat everything up to mice, but not terribly predator savvy & mixed review on temperaments.
All 3 are heat & cold tolerant given adequate shade & protection from elements, with dominiques & buckeyes best in cold due to "rosebud" combs.
The free flock will pay for itself probably within a year if not from the get go, since I won't have much up front costs. Waterer, feeder, food, oyster shells, lytes, probiotics, just basics.
Oh, predators that slip into the barn will have to get past 2 horses. Each of whom tried to kill my dog, Lunar, the 1st time they saw him. (I nearly got caught in my head when the arab went after him. He was a puppy, he ran fir life with her on his tail, ears pinned teeth bared. Luckily I was a couple strides away, jumped in, kicked her in the flanks & spun out just in time to see her hind feet within 2" of my face! The pause to get me bought Lunar the second he needed to race under the gate! Exciting times here ...🤪
One of the places where I can get a free barred rock rooster hatched 5 of them out of 6 eggs 😂 They were hoping for hens, not hen!
There are buff orp pullets available just 2 towns away, for $15/ea. They are beautiful & that was what I was 1st going to get, but barred Rocks were my 1st choice: very good foragers, very good color protection from overhead predators, good predator sense, sweet temperaments among both hens & (most) roos, some hens get broody should I choose to risk it (but with breeders all around here, no need), good very good production, very hardy. And then the rock breeders started advertising....
I have a barred rock. She is a character. She spends her day figuring out how to break into our porch to get at the cat food. She's pretty good at it, I might add.
Excellent! There is authority, the kind that gives peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, hope, and perseverance. It comes from the God of the Bible. Read the New Testament, be in the Word.

Aren't we all supposed to be dead by now?
Maybe THIS year will be that “dark winter” that decrepit fool predicted for us LAST winter 😂?
Especially if you live in Europe!
And everyone freezing to death will be listed as unvaccinated and a victim of “climate change” 😂
Sadly - You're probably right.
If they find you dead or go to hospital in a bad condition they will list you as "unknown". Another great hack of covid statistics.
Like Germany?

Amen! I refuse to be pulled into their psychotic mess.
I threw my television out nearly 20 years ago. Damn, what complete propaganda and useless bs.
If the media were not owned by the same oligarchy trying to divide and control us, this sham of a president would quickly fade to obscurity. His hectoring does nothing good for our country and exposes him for the fraud that he is.
I love you man!
El gato malo got a shout out over at AIER:
https://www.aier.org/article/which-last-longer-spike-proteins-or-cdc-facts/
“Too much that’s happening in our country is not normal…” ya think? What a douche. “Winter of death for the unvaccinated…” seriously. What dystopian nightmare are we all living in?
Winter is coming. Just not for the unvaxxed. Five shot dummies (this includes a lot of my friends) might want to be worried.
Mine too… 😔
I love the sentiment.
I ask because I really hope you're right.
More often, the window moves based on a much more complex and dynamic phenomenon, one that is not easily controlled from on high: the slow evolution of societal values and norms.
https://www.mackinac.org/OvertonWindow
What is going on is that the normies are getting red-pilled by all of this outrageous behavior; while in the past what [they] were up to was not mentioned on the MSM, the Mar-a-Lago raid was. While the 'Red Sermon' speech was not carried live on the MSM, it has gotten coverage today. And there have been ex-normies talking about 'defunding the FBI' and such things. These are people who haven't been very politically active before, spending most of their energy working and raising families and so on. Now they are concerned about governmental overreach.
I am familiar with the Overton window. In fact, I've been invoking it a lot lately.
Yes, I do get the feeling that many sleeping giants are being awakened.
Yes, you said it much better than I did. Thanks. The old good-cop, bad-cop routine.
We should take up the refrain Jordan Peterson angrily offered recently, “Leave us alone!!” That could be our rally cry. It has been mine since 2020.
And I believe there’s a song to go with it. Can’t think of the song or name this moment. Bad Cattitude could, I bet. Was it Pink Floyd?...Probably a lot of songs.
This is good shit! The perfect piece to read before a long weekend with family and friends!
Agree ... the best ... the very best!
Thanks cat!
This administration is the very threat to our freedom and democracy 🤦🏻♂️
"consider the possibility that the american dream is alive and that 80% of america is totally fine apart from being trapped between warring gangs of government whose incessant shaking of the jar is nothing but a calculated attempt to stir us into fighting one another that they may continue to dominate discourse and rule us for fun and profit."
And for killing.
The regime is not America. America would thrive without it.

My girlfriend Wanda who was in an abusive relationship for 23 years.
Her comment on the Hitleresque Biden red backdrop photo:
"More scary and sickening than my sick ex-boyfriend.. If that’s even possible."
It really is Hitleresque, isn't it? Cue the overture to Don Giovanni, with its crashing D minor chord. (Is it D minor?)
I guess they borrowed the set design from the ending of that same opera: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ioc9shJa_lI
Glad she got away!
DARVO is all they got.
Learned a valuable new acronym. Thank you!
Exciting times here ...🤪
Farm life. The best. We have barred rocks. Eat anything you throw at them. Funny birds.
The rooster's driver's license says "Chicken Joe". Duuuude.
😁
I do so want to be in that position. I was raised on a Midwest farm.
🤗
Wow! That’s great! You. Are. READY.
long time chicken wrangler here. let me know if you need tips.
I love buff orps because they go broody. I just hatched 5 eggs under one of my orpies.
Foraging!
Excellent! There is authority, the kind that gives peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, hope, and perseverance. It comes from the God of the Bible. Read the New Testament, be in the Word.
