I'm long time subscriber to the New York Times (and progressive voter). I posted a comment on a Covid article that just said the vaccines don't stop transmission or stop people from contracting the coronavirus. I went back to the article later and the comment was deleted.

Popular US media outlets have been 100 percent silent on deaths caused by vaccines. Even New Zealand has covered a recent death from the Pfizer vaccine in their news, for Pete's sake. But our media has a code of silence.

It's crystal clear that American media outlets are working in tandem with the government and the drug manufacturers to disseminate their misinformation.

1984, indeed.

The level of MSM censorship and promoting of false narratives is so pervasive and obvious that it is almost appears to be at the level of parody. Those who mistake the false narrative for facts, reality, and science are victims of another type. A type that is not listed in VAERS. They have been "injected" with propaganda. Fortunately the propaganda only a bit more effective as the actual covid vaccine. Maintain the narrative false narrative requires constant propaganda boosters. Just as many people who were vaxxed are not getting boosters, many people who received the initial propaganda doses aren't taking the propaganda boosters.

Since it's very obvious that MSM avoids reporting on large anti mandate protests across Europe, it is not a huge tin foil hat step to consider the possibility that the actual percentage of the population that is vaxxed may be significantly lower than what is reported by MSM. One of the aspects of an effective propaganda campaign is to make it appear that the number of people who aren't complying is smaller than it actually is. This helps to foster the illusion that the official narrative has greater consensus than may actually exist.

Covid-19 Update

We hope that everyone is doing well and staying safe.

We are currently seeing a very high volume of sick patients- higher than we have seen in years. We need to keep our appointment slots available for sick patients and we need to prioritize our testing supplies. Therefore, we are currently not able to test patients for events or for exposures. We also cannot test parents at this time.

We have tried very hard over the last 21 months to be here for you, our patients and families, and nothing is harder for us than to have to turn people away, but at this time we are simply overwhelmed.

We are not helpless against this current wave of covid. There are measures that we know work: masks, social distancing and vaccinations. Yes, the vaccines do work. While there are breakthrough cases, those who are vaccinated do not get as sick and have a much lower chance of getting covid or being hospitalized. What allows this virus to continue circulating and mutating to more contagious variants is when people remain unvaccinated. So please, if you or you child are eligible for a vaccine, get vaccinated. If you are 16 or older and it has been 6 months since your last dose of vaccine, get a booster. Boosters have been shown to be greatly increase the effectiveness of the vaccine against this new variant.

If you wish to schedule a Covid vaccine appointment, please send a request through the patient portal.

Give credit that Diego is prepared to say it and still admit he can see the cracks in the messaging. It is not easy to come here and say something like that. The best we can all hope for is that people on both sides of the divide are able to start seeing clearly and, if they didn't before, to feel able to say it, and to admit they were wrong, or that they've been duped.

At the end of the day, we need to remember the most egregious and criminal actions have been on the part of those who have instigated, who have profited, and who have been bought off - crooked policy makers, pharma, media. People who have sold their souls. Possibly even shady billionaire elites who operate with nefarious purposes (I'm still wrapping my brain around that - it seems too godawful to be true). Those who have set out deliberately to deceive or stay silent - the manipulators of data, paid "fact" checkers, recipients of pharma money and tainted research grants, morally bankrupt experts and academics, craven doctors, power-hungry leaders and governments. They have all played their part.

The little people have been well and truly played. Yes, many have succumbed to their baser instincts of scapegoating, taunting, goading, egging on, and collaborative by-standing. That will be for each to wrestle with their consciences - and in their final reckonings. For those who have suffered at their hands, we will have different things to grapple with.

These are the age-old matters of hurt, hatred, anger, blame, contrition, bitterness, forgiveness, redemption, acceptance. These are the fires that can burn us up or set us free.

All the way back to the summer when it was becoming clear that vaccines didn't stop transmission, I was coming to the conclusion that mandates - public and private - were vindictive performance art and I'm certain of it at this point.

Earlier this fall, I strained some relationships with some long term friends - all of whom are in blue locales - who clung to the mandate concept and could not explain the logic beyond, "It's a real vaccine" and "It's just the right thing to do." Their reasoning was entirely vindictive once it was clear that vaccines did nothing to protect other people. It was all, "Well we did it so now these bad people also should have to do it."

This woman's twitter thread is very similar to my friends. She is clinging as tightly as she can to there being SOME benefit from the clot shots, so her twitter thread is an attempt to be reassured that she's still a good person. The last guy who responded to her has no idea what he's talking about, but they've all been reduced to bullshit rationalizations at this point, so it's all he has. But America is slowly being red pilled for sure.

Rather than argue with my friends perpetually and ruin our friendship completely, I decided a few months ago to show them a little grace and just dropped the subject and quit talking about it. They will eventually see the truth, if they haven't already.

I have mentioned before on this blog about my son's pediatrician refusing to order him an antibody test because she was pushing the vaccine. In addition to her obviously not promoting his best interests, there was a condescending undercurrent to our discussions that I was some kind of crazy person who wasn't respecting her learned advice.

Expand full comment

Yes my sister in law is a physician's assistant and openly speaks of how much she hates everyone including her patients. Last time I saw her she was ranting about how some crazy COVID patients' families were sueing her hospital to get treatments that "weren't approved by the FDA". I kept silent, I don't think there's much chance of opening her mind up but boy do I feel sorry for anyone unlucky enough to have her caring for them.

I've always wondered why patients (and doctors) can't try virtually any remedy, at least with any legal drug or substance? Doctors and hospitals are rightly concerned about risks of liability (well, not with the "emergency" meds, which is partially why they enthusiastically promote these!!!). Why can't a patient sign a waiver (give up right to sue) in return for the right (say) to be treated with ivermectin? This concept exists in American law but is (I think) quite rarely used. Sometimes it's even codified into state laws. For example, DMSO does, in fact, have a few FDA-approved uses, but there are many more off-label uses. Florida is one of only a few states that allows doctors to prescribe it off-label, subject to a waiver form that is codified in State law.

I've encountered that as well.. This is what happens when fear short circuits our brains. Taking this vaccine is an entirely selfish act. The vax does not stop spread or infection. This dynamic is how families where torn apart in the american civil war... its the origin of totalitarianism...

I know whereof I speak, since I lost my husband to an easily preventable medical error which his doctor arrogantly refused to acknowledge. The mom has been running around for weeks with “a cold” that isn’t seeming to get better.

The vaccines make you susceptible to the virus by wiping out your T-cell immunity for weeks. Small exposures should be taken care of by the T-cells, but when you vax and boost, ANY exposure to virus will result in infection.

"The kid said he has a headache, I have some meds from home for him." (Thought I was doing the right thing.) "Er sir (he puts on his mask), we have a protocol for symptomatic COVID to follow and headache is one of the things I will need to get him tested for. Is he currently under a physician's care for headache?" (I quick calculate......) "Um yeah, he has been seeing a....doctor....for this....um muscle tension headache from an....injury." (I all but say 'Yeah, that's the ticket!' but I don't.) Nurse guy de-escalates and takes his mask off. "Next time bring a note from your doctor." "Sure thing pal." When they add teenage acne to the list of COVID symptoms to watch for, it will already be too late.

Overtesting of healthy people has been the problem all along because of all of the false positives. It serves to keep the panic flowing - as does forcing everyone to cover their face and act scared - so politicians are in no hurry to stop it.

And it's not people running out to get tested because they are curious, the problem is healthy people being FORCED to be tested, like your son or certain unvaccinated employees, who aren't sick but are being forced to be tested for prescriptive reasons. All it does is pump up the numbers.

Good for you to avoid the unnecessary test for your son. My son was sent home twice last year for two week stretches for being in the same room as someone who tested positive. The nurse was trying to be helpful when she said, "Just go get in tested and he can come back in one week if he's negative." She did not like my response.

If someone is symptomatic enough to go to the doctor, then by all means, give them a test while at the doctor's office. All other testing settings should be dropped.

I saw a headline somewhere yesterday that said, "The NBA led us into covid, the NFL will lead us out."

Point being, it's too hard, both physically and logistically, to cancel football games and replay them within short periods of time. The league and the players have known all fall that most of these guys testing "positive" are not showing symptoms and aren't sick and now the almighty dollar is forcing the NFL to confront the truth and act more realistically. No more regular testing of asymptomatic vaccinated players.

It doesn't go far enough for my taste: whether or not someone is vaccinated has nothing to do with their asymptomatic contagiousness. In fact, it's probably the other way around, but it's a step in the right direction and society will eventually come to the conclusion that testing healthy people does nothing but provide disruption.

FWIW - that's a big part of Brandon's logic for the 500M additional tests. They have to keep the pandemic going another year so that they can justify using mail in ballots. That's all this is.

My take on the home tests is that they will return us to normal and let Biden call “victory”. Home tests don’t get reported. We all get used to using them. Just as Omnicron burns through the vaccinated…further exposing the jabs for what they are. Voila! Case counts go down! It’s over! 🎉

Expand full comment

I think you are mistaken to some extent. The home test kits in my (limited) experience do get reported. You have to register the kit with your phone then scan a qr code then you get a test result vis the app or text message/email. The ones my family has used are not anonymous.

Ah! Good to know! The Abbott home kits I have seen do not require registration.

I love how these newly "enlightened" people circle around to their same comforting conclusion: They are the "good" (the "chosen") because they have done something ridiculously minimal and want to force that ridiculously minimal thing on others (although the personal, and societal, effects of it over the long term are unknown) even though anyone with critical thinking skills would understand the useless nature of it due to the way the goalpost has been steadily pushed further and further away. But they don't have critical thinking skills. They understand "civic duty," and you, the unvaccinated, don't. That's it. That's all they need.

It is amazing how the vaxxed people lost all sense of logic and how difficult it is to even make someone compute 2+2 to see that it is not 5.

Apparently, asking to add 2+2 is conspiracy theory and extremism.

Her last comment, her favorite response, indicates she's still biased toward an an answer she wants to hear than the unwelcome truth. It's also one of the key disconnects that raised my skepticism antenna early one when it came to the solutions to the problem from the "experts." The idea that a highly mutable, airborne respiratory virus mutates because of the unvaccinated is such blatant, Salem Witch Trial level superstition that any so called "expert" or politician who promotes it cannot be believed on any level. Everything else they tell you must be questioned.

Viruses mutate to escape immunity, whether that immunity be conferred via vaccine or infection (natural immunity). This may be the very first thing somebody studying virology learns on the first day of class because it's a proven fundamental truth, Virology 101 if you will. Blaming the unvaccinated for it is the equivalent of blaming and burning the witch for random events that happen in nature. And the fact that our politicians and public health "experts" actually have sold this lie so easily is a sad revelation that humanity is still in the same dumb place it was in the days of Copernicus, only with better technology.

Expand full comment

I would just clarify a bit. Mutation is basically random. Results are usually indifferent, occasionally bad, sometimes fatal. A tiny fraction are positive, in the sense of favoring the survival of the mutant.

So a more evolutionist-approved wording would be something like "Successful viruses will be those with favorable mutations that allow them to evade a host's immune system."

Expand full comment

Appreciate the clarification. Is it fair to say in layman's wording that mutation is a natural feature of these viruses. It's what they do. And they do it because it's ultimately necessary for survival, i.e. to escape immunity?

Unfortunately, it seems there are die-hards that will continue ignore the facts. Spent a few days with my pro-vax brother and his wife (he is a surgeon so he thinks he knows everything despite only working in hospital administration for the past decade or more). They will continue to justify the vaccines because "it would have been worse" if they weren't vaxxed when talking about all his friends that got covid. When the conversation about what vaccine everyone got came up, I left the room so I didn't have to discuss.

"They will continue to justify the vaccines because "it would have been worse" if they weren't vaxxed"

You should ask Dr Moron: 'Never mind "it would have been worse" if you weren't vaxxed, but Why TF didn't the vax work in the first place? You got sick, genius. The vax DIDN'T WORK.'

You don't have a measles, mumps, chicken pox, tetanus jab - and then expect to be laid up really ill with those diseases. A vaccine STOPS those diseases, not "stops you being worse" which is subjective and unprovable.

The year my brother and I was born, we apparently got a bad batch of MMR, meaning it wasn't foolproof. When we were teens, my brother and I both came down with the mumps. They were very mild. Zero other students got sick. Zero. Because, as you point out, you don't get mumps, measles, etc. vaccines and then expect to get sick. The bad batch of MMR still managed to kick coronavirus vaccine's butt.

Expand full comment

Mumps is always mild. The concern with mumps is that in a small percentage of non immune pregnant women it can cause fetal loss or birth defects if infected prior to 5 months gestation. An even smaller percentage of males are infertile after mumps, but the actual illness is symptomatically mild and manageable.

But otherwise is there some grand strategy? i dont know. these people seem so stupid . So bad at what they do.

Beyond the goal of making money (I heard ~ haven't confirmed ~ the tests were developed/sold by Bill Gates and friends) testing and case counts are the basis for the propaganda/fear porn they use to manipulate the masses and implement policy.

Given recent polling, 2022 is going to be a bloodbath for Democrats unless they can push universal mail in balloting as they did in 2020. It doesn't look like they will get any of the federal election legislation through the Senate, so using the pandemic playbook may be their only option in that regard.

If home testing is available, a high proportion of the tests will be used (human nature) and the "dangerous pandemic" narrative continues. However, as fast as Omicron is going through the country, I suspect a new variant will have to be identified down the road...

It’s the human psychological trait of credulity. It’s something that gave us a survival advantage when we lived in small isolated hunter gatherer tribes. It’s the reason that we believe in deities . It’s the philosophical “problem of the other“ I know that you have a mind and that your mind works in a very similar way to mine. But I cannot know your mind. I have to infer or guess about your intentions based on your actions and words. If some some thing happens in nature like a lightning strike it is a human mental trait to ascribe that event to some consciousness or agent that had intent (agency).

This psychological trait of credulity can be exploited by nefarious types. And can be very dysfunctional when we are faced with dopamine and panic stimulating phenomena like social media

Expand full comment

Have read that humans are the only primate with "whites" around the eye's iris. This is hypothesized to be an evolutionary adaptation. It allows others to see at what, or at least in what direction, an individual is looking. Similarly, a large part of the brain evolved to discern the mental state of the other party. Why? Clearly much rides on whether others are likely friend or foe. It's a survival advantage.

Her "favorite response so far" is absolutely ass-backwards. Anybody who has been paying even the SLIGHTEST amount of attention knows that it is precisely the vaxxed who are driving mutations by favoring the proliferation of variants against which the narrowly-focused vax antibodies are not effective. The notion that "you won't play host to the virus for too long" is a pathetic misunderstanding of high school genetics--as if the virus sets up a factory in your body to create mutations when it runs into the vax(!)--instead of the already-mutated virus finding a vaxxed host receptive because the vax is not effective against the new strain. Sheesh. Small wonder we're destroying our society. We're living in an Idiocracy.

Expand full comment

Furthermore, unless I heard it wrong, even when the vaxxes are "working" it does not prevent infection and passing the virus from the respiratory tract. The protection, such as it is, is in the rest of the body. The virus is perfectly happy to set up its factory in the sinuses/etc. and operate for a while, even if invading the rest of the body is too much trouble.
