From what I gather, 'long covid" is any symptom that persists over 4 weeks (in the UK at least). Well ,I got that bug and it took me 6- 8 weeks to feel better so technically I had 'long covid'
I just considered it a natural side effect of getting a 'live-non-attenuated vaccine (aka a natural infection). Lumping me or others like me in with vaxxed sufferers of protracted symptoms or others who got a nasty case but didn't receive any effective 'medical' care (supplements and off-label drugs...you know the ones) is potentially just a way to obscure the data.

I was asked to explain on another post regarding the carnage that I expected to see, if we pull through this nightmare besides death and severe illness; mental health is at the top of my list. Other statistics that will be telling: divorce rate, domestic violence, and child abuse (other than what that perpetrated by the government). Yup! I yelled nonstop about this 2020-2021. They were supposed to be our advocates. I will never ever trust them again. I’d rather go to a witch doctor. My wife is terrified of me getting sick or hurt as she knows I’d rather die in the street in front of a hospital than walk inside one.
I do understand that, but I really thought they’d do better. When the government dumped on children, I thought the pediatricians would unite and say something….but they didn’t. I’m a lawyer, and I’m disgusted by my own profession being ok with people’s rights being trampled by an “emergency”. As to the vets, I totally agree. I lost my dog during the pandemic, and I often wonder if I would have been in the room talking face to face with the vet, if maybe we would have done more early on instead of losing crucial months. Nonetheless, that pain is nothing compared to all those isolated in hospitals, and those who lost their businesses, and those children who continue to suffer.
Medical freedom is the ultimate freedom over my own body. If the borders of our bodies are not free, there no number of troops at the border of our country can save us from tyranny.

That system becomes not *less* critical in an emergency, but rather is at its highest possible level of importance. I live in Maryland. Here medical offices are under no mandate or requirement, but "private business" can do what they want. What I have seen is across-the-board compliance with mask wearing in medical settings, even though the state does not require this at all.
This is a very blue/brainwashed state, especially where I live (suburbs of DC). We still have about 50-70% voluntary mask wearers in the groceries. Supposedly 88% of the population of my county is fully vaccinated (includes all eligible adults and children).
My conclusion is the same, but yes based on my perspective: we have a very highly propagandized and brainwashed population. The doctors either are KNOWINGLY pretending (lying) or are brainwashed tools. Either way -- I've lost all trust.
The novel pharmaceutical had only been tested for two months at best, but was said to be safe anyway. Did you take it?

I was asked to explain on another post regarding the carnage that I expected to see, if we pull through this nightmare besides death and severe illness; mental health is at the top of my list. Other statistics that will be telling: divorce rate, domestic violence, and child abuse (other than what that perpetrated by the government). Carnage is not just a bunch of dead bodies laying around, I see lifeless, vacant human shell forms constantly. Carnage? I thinks so.
I would also like to give kudos to each and everyone of us. When the brave are counted, we are included.
‘Vacant human shell forms’ describes them quite succinctly. Mask mandates currently on pause in BC, yet still ads on to ‘wear your mask, wash your hands, blah blah, blah). There are still terrified people wearing them, but worse than the terrified are the vacant. They’ve snapped, and are most definitely broken.

Everything you wrote is true. And the silence of the doctors was most profound. They knew kids should be in school; they knew masks don't work; they knew healthy people should not be isolating at home; they knew outdoor activities shouldn't be illegal; they knew hospitalized patients should not be alone without family day after day after day; they knew that mandating vaccines was wrong---but they kept quiet. I have so much anger at the medical community for completely doing the opposite of their oath. They harmed us over and over--their harm led to suicides, depression, bankruptcy. Out of all the awful groups in this pandemic (teachers, politicians, media) their betrayal may hurt the most. My trust is gone--too many continue to do the wrong thing. I am thankful for the brave few--but the rest cannot be forgiven.
Right before the covid me-too freakout I had a lucid dream from my recently deceased sister (a big believer in the medical industry which ironically killed her) where she told me to tell my brother not to listen to doctors.
Unfortunately my brother thinks I'm strange and happily trotted off to his poison shots. I'm sure some disaster is looming for him since he has already gotten shingles and covid two times.
Oh well I did my best to warn him about doctors.

My sister says the same, and she and her husband know a *lot *of people. Part of it is down to the "hot lots" IMO - but those 2 know people all over.
Truthfully, I don't know anyone badly affected by jabs either, but my social circle is much smaller.
But I know that VAERS means something, and I know the dozens of tweets I've seen - each with dozens or hundreds of agreeing responses - also mean something.
I remain unjabbed for c19. And, having seen how the sausage is made, I'm not interested in any other vaccines, ever again.

Dentists are interesting, they have to know enough to know it is impossible to force masking AND work on teeth. And veterinarians, what does any of this have to do with treating animals?

Yup! I yelled nonstop about this 2020-2021. They were supposed to be our advocates. I will never ever trust them again. I’d rather go to a witch doctor. My wife is terrified of me getting sick or hurt as she knows I’d rather die in the street in front of a hospital than walk inside one.

I do understand that, but I really thought they’d do better. When the government dumped on children, I thought the pediatricians would unite and say something….but they didn’t. When people died alone in hospitals, I thought they’d unite and denounce this barbaric treatment of THEIR patients…but they didn’t. The list goes on which is why I’m angry. I’m a lawyer, and I’m disgusted by my own profession being ok with people’s rights being trampled by an “emergency”. As to the vets, I totally agree. I lost my dog during the pandemic, and I often wonder if I would have been in the room talking face to face with the vet, if maybe we would have done more early on instead of losing crucial months. Nonetheless, that pain is nothing compared to all those isolated in hospitals, and those who lost their businesses, and those children who continue to suffer.
Yes. It took me 1.5 years but I finally red-pilled our pediatrician. I've never worked so hard on one "case" in my life.

Not only people, but doctors - a BC doctor promoting boosters on the news, when questioned as to why people should get it when the boosted can still catch and transmit covid, said earnestly and with a straight face, that boosters are effective when used in conjuction with masking, washing hands, and social distancing. smh

Lord Sumption was one of the first people I really *heard* on this in 2020. An "emergency" situation is the real test for a system of checks and balances. That system becomes not *less* critical in an emergency, but rather is at its highest possible level of importance. If your system cannot stand up to pretexts used to deconstruct it, it's failed the test.
If safeguards against tyranny only hold while no one is challenging them, they don't really hold at all.
Jonathan Sumption has been a rare beacon of sanity throughout this period. I'm so grateful to him for repeatedly and calmly making the case against the abuses of power, and explaining in laymans terms what the law states, and how it is being diluted and ignored.
His respected public profile allowed him to reach a lot of people and get his message across in the top tier broadsheets like The Telegraph, which were otherwise suppressing all counter-narratives.

At this point, I have to wonder about any medical professionals who are still going along with the COVID masking theater -- requiring patients to wear masks covering nose, mouth and chin the entire time.
They all have to know the truth by now and are pretending (lying), or they are brainwashed/ignorant.
Either answer is problematic; I have lost all trust in them.
If they would pretend (lie) about mask protocols, and pretend (lie) that the vaccine could not possibly be connected to sudden symptoms a patient is experiencing (bonus points for if they still push the vaccine) -- WHAT ELSE might they be lying about? How can I trust a word of advice from them?
If they are brainwashed/ignorant, then they are mentally ill, and how can I trust them to provide wise, critically-thought medical advice to me?
If they require proof of vaccination in order to be a patient of theirs -- just wow. And no.
This makes me want to continue to avoid all doctors, hospitals, etc.

I live in Maryland. Here medical offices are under no mandate or requirement, but "private business" can do what they want. What I have seen is across-the-board compliance with mask wearing in medical settings, even though the state does not require this at all.
This is a very blue/brainwashed state, especially where I live (suburbs of DC). We still have about 50-70% voluntary mask wearers in the groceries. Supposedly 88% of the population of my county is fully vaccinated (includes all eligible adults and children).

My conclusion is the same, but yes based on my perspective: we have a very highly propagandized and brainwashed population. The doctors either are KNOWINGLY pretending (lying) or are brainwashed tools. Either way -- I've lost all trust.
