Plus dissolve: Westminster, Holyrood, Stormont and Senedd Cymru (UK has 4 dens of pus and corruption) and all the Ministers too. Not only would this save a shed-load of money, but it would give us peace and quiet.

When she had the chance to help the cause of Brexit, either by refusing Royal Assent to a bill designed to hobble Boris’ government when it was doing the right thing, or by calling a snap election when one was needed, she ducked. It would be nice if she showed a little courage with respect to the former Dominion, but Meghan Murky is from there, so she’d probably rather let it rot!

Formerly known as the British Commonwealth, it was made up of Countries of the British Empire who had gained independence, and eventually the British Empire ceased to exist so nearly all former Empire Countries and one none-Empire Countries joined the Commonwealth. The name was changed to Commonwealth to avoid the notion that the Countries in it were ruled by Britain.
It is a puzzle why in 1973 Britain turned its back on these Countries and threw its lot in with that duplicitous bunch in Europe and joined the EEC. It took 40 years to correct the error.
Elizabeth II is Head of the Commonwealth by demand of its members - it is not an hereditary Right of the British Monarch. It is not certain that Charles will become Head of the Commonwealth.
If the Queen could/would dissolve Canadian parliament, Tyrant Trudeau and his ilk would would be out of power, and the true Canadian spirit could more forward. Just wishful thinking…….
Importantly, such an act could be interpreted as an undemocratic act of tyranny (a former colonial power exercising blue laws in a Commonwealth constitution) even as it would move to end tyranny.
A rather compelling argument can be made that North America was far more free under a remote monarchy than it is today.

Actually the governor general does that after a non-confidence vote or a call for an election from the prime minister. On paper the governor general "has" the power to dissolve the government. but it has never been used, kind of like Vice-president Pence not using the powers given to him by the Constitution on Jan 6th 2020, when there was evidence of tainted elections in several states in the same manner.
NOW we know why God granted QE2 such a long life. To be around to dissolve the parliaments of Canada, NZ, and Oz, and to restore freedom and liberty.
