As the real communities were destroyed we saw the emergence of fake communities i.e. anyone who had a shared grievance, sometimes extended to describe any group with something in common (football community, tall community, doesn't matter how stupid the grouping is). The protesters at NZ Parliament are being smashed up right now. A group of freedom loving people from all every walk of life and guess what? Whenever I visited the vibe was amazing! Everything was free and thousands of people were fed everyday. Supporters gave heaps of money to make this happen. People danced, sang and played and really made an effort to get on with each other. Obviously this could not continue.
