a friendly reminder:
pretty much none of the people the government claims to be experts are really experts in any functional sense.
mostly, they have no idea what they are talking about and probably wouldn’t tell you if they did.
this is universal across disciplines.
economics, finance, energy, foreign policy, fiscal policy, social programs, science, climate, health:
it’s all the same bewildering pile of shabby charlatanry, bulk-rate astrology, and increasingly violent haruspicy.
their credentials are just technocratic tinsel.
they will always get it wrong.
and are often beholden those those who do not have your best interests at heart.
they want your trust:
but are not worthy of it:
and that’s not going to change.
plan accordingly.
the phrase “i’m from the government and i’m here to help” should terrify you.
choose a better way.
“Vaccinated people become dead”….ends the coronavirus.
There, fixed it for you.
The DGB is another example. They trot out an 'expert' whose only job is to parrot the administration's line. Then the administration points to the expert as 'proof' of their brilliance.
