Verily I say unto thee, thou Cat of Badness, with this holy missive thou hast ascended unto a mount previously unclimbeth, even by thouest cattish brethren! Certainly tis again obvious to all with eyes to see that such glory is manifest herein only because thou was casteth from that most unholy of pits of damnation and blasphemy, Twitter. Blessed all thus be for that result!

If true, this is a new low.

Cometh now heretical scrolls and tomes from false shepherds, daring to suggest the sin of naturally generated resistance may allow absolution from covidian sin. I bring them only so that they may be burned in the glorious fires of unquestioned technocracy. By no means should these writings be disseminated lest they lead the sheep of St. Anthony (297 MBUH) to forsake his teachings. https://linktr.ee/Natural.Immunity

Are they checking for TB shots too? Hope they get a bunch of people to quit.

There are a number of required vaccinations for healthcare workers, but they're all FDA approved. You are not supposed to be able to force employees to get EUA vaccines. But the three groups mentioned here operate essentially every hospital in MA, so (a) they must think they can get away with it, at least in the short term and (b) if employees quit, there's really nowhere else for them to go. Healthcare-workers unions in the state are taking a beating lately...

Masshole, here. Saw this on the local news today but haven't really dug into it yet. I thought that companies, even hospitals, couldn't force employees to get EUA vaccines that were not yet FDA approved? It's interesting. The large hospitals here have recently had legal (Justina Pelletier) and legislative (2018 nurse-staffing ballot question) wins, so why wouldn't they just do what they please? Who's going to sue them?

Wow “Holy Mass” is more divine than my home parish of Ontario, Canada. Every time I wallow in the woke bullshit promulgated from the chief wokesters in government and the media here, I like to take a peek at such bastions of big government and wokeness like Mass, California and Oregon and I feel a bit better for 5 or 10 seconds. Maybe misery really does love company! Yes as our platitude spewing, black-faced leader likes to say, “we all need to do better.” In this case doing better is getting your miracle jab, because you know, the science.

patients like me will go elsewhere....

Easier said than done, mostly because there's not a lot of "elsewhere" where you can go. These three groups control a huge number of hospitals, medical practices, neighborhood clinics, etc in the greater boston area. (Mass General/Brigham is the largest private employer in the state.) They've obviously decided they are too big to be constrained by laws and the thing that sucks is that they're probably right. :(

All praise our glorious Saint Fauci (3,000 Masks Be Upon Him) for bringing us the holy rite of Emergency Use Authorization. I shall dwell in mine own house vaccinated and double masked forever. I shall feast on the UberEATS delivered for me, until I may join the eternal Zoom call.

Dear Bad Cattitude,

Your divine missives are always received gracefully and joyously every morning. Also with smiles and laughs.

Be careful that you don't unwittingly create new dogma and ritual. Cultists are not known for appreciating satire.

Ah, OK. Read a bit more. They're not going to require vaccines until they are FDA approved. Which, granted, is going to probably happen sooner than it should. But at least not brazenly breaking the law.

Um, is there any doubt they will be approved? Don’t forget, we may need some additional EUA shots if they need to update the formulation due to additional variants that are even less virulent. Don’t ya know it is all about the science?!

what kind of proof is required?

On a more serious tone, sadly with each passing day indeed it looks more like a cult, sprinkled with some medical fascism.
