Here's my current "poster boy" major media piece that is the very type of "misinformation" the Establishment rails against, or that got Alex Berenson cancelled, for the matter. If you google "99% unvaccinated", you'll see the core claim appeared widely in the press in early September. The near-identical wording suggests a common source, which I assume is typical of most "news" (propaganda would be more accurate!) of this ilk.
What the article doesn't tell you is that the sampling period is most likely cherry-picked. In the first place, eight months (Jan - Sep. 2021) is a ridiculously long time. Nor does it tell you two very significant facts: the mass vaccination campaign was just beginning, the jabs having been approved in Dec. 2020, and also that the peak of the winter "flu" season (thru. March) was front-loaded into the sample. Too bad they didn't use the same period from 2020, and they could have claimed "100% unvaccinated"!
Most of today’s MSM Journos are little more than ideological activists with a healthy splash of Dunning Kruger Effect as the proverbial cherry on top!
So true....the media has always had an agenda but it has become more open in recent years. Not sure if it was Trump, changing social attitudes, or just obliviousness on the part of many journalists. I never trust anything of a political nature that I read from a single news source without checking another alternative source. I trust the US media even less than our public health officials!
