The Drs should have been a bulwark against this bureaucratic stupidity. But they - well some were afraid/cowed. but some were honestly just dumber than I expected. They showed their innumeracy. They got thru med school how? cheating on all math-related requirements?
I agree with you, with one caveat. Our medical system at large is just a bunch of monopolistic corporations disguised as individual doctors and hospitals. I live in Montana. We have, for the entire state, two systems to choose from, no matter where you are, one started in the state itself, which is horrid, and the other that is part of a nationwide conglomerate and is also horrid. 99.9% of all the doctors in the states are aligned with one of these two systems and relies on it for employment. You're not going to find much independent thought (nor courage) in a system like that.
I am fortunate. I found a concierge doctor not affiliated with any medical bureaucracy. I have his cell phone number and 24 hr access. He works for me. What a novel thought.
Brought my son with me, prepared to back my position. Was shocked when he told me there was no way I should get it, my sons didn't need it...no one in his family would get it and only 50% of his staff had gotten it and no one held it against them.
I'd love to have your dr, mine was a hard core advocate. I told her i wanted an exemption, she said "we're not doing that" (they've been barred from giving medical exemptions by bc govt). No exemptions, no consideration for the patient or infomed consent.
Last time I looked (which is about three years ago), there were concierge doctors in my area. We rarely (thank God) ever go to the doctor, so I couldn't justify spending the money at the time. However, I am keeping it in mind as we get older.
Most doctors don't really understand scientific reasoning and the practice of science. They may be very good at what they do in some strictly bounded domains, being able to accurately diagnose most common diseases in their specialties and correctly indicate the most commonly useful treatments, but when faced with something new or unusual they usually need to have some external help as they are not intellectually prepared to move away from some very well defined protocols.
And this is mostly ok. Most disease in human beings is common and straightforward to treat, and when it is not, we don't expect primary care doctors to be able to treat them or to have a definite opinion on that. The more complex and severe the disease, we can still have protocols, but they are less definite, more varied, and require far more expert criteria to be adapted for a given patient and his clinical situation.
Concerning vaccinations, most doctors don't really understand the more intricate aspects of immunology or virology, but as most vaccines are indeed very safe after as much as ten years of testing, they could recommend them as safe and effective while knowing the contra-indications because the system had correctly worked and they were given good information by the authorities.
Enter the under-tested gene therapies called COVID vaccines, they are sold the same discourse by the authorities, but now this discourse is not truthful, we don't actually know the real risks, and people were subjects in a experiment which is still, and which will still be ongoing for a few years.
But, most of those doctors are afraid to say they really don't understand this. They're afraid of going against the authorities, and when you challenge their beliefs they get outraged, because they are acutely aware they really have no fucking idea what they are talking about, they don't have the required curiosity to try to understand it and probably you, the patient, seems to have more information that what they do.
well if you really look into their training they are specialists: informed in physiology and anatomy and basic "doctoring" that homeopaths had, but they are nothing but glorified drug pushers and sellers.
The school sched for childhood vaccines has caused terrible harm for many children. The adjuvants are dangerous, there are too many vaccines mandated for school. Pharma can't be sued, the voices of the injured have been silenced for decades. You are wrong thinking vacccines in general are safe for all. They are not and therefore should not be mandated for school.

I've walked out of several doc's offices in the past - never to return. I will not tolerate a 'holier-than-thou' attitude or insistence on pills/procedures than I have refused. We still have the freedom to choose. I finally found one that understands and accepts my decisions without question.
I'm fortunate to reside in NEOH where there is still some choice though government is working furiously to reduce the number of players in the field...

It used to be that having an higher education even in a social or humanities related field gave you a basic understanding of the principles of the natural sciences that are absolutely required not to be a complete savage in a technical, modern society.
It doesn't matter if you're a PoliSci graduate, having a university education should mean that you are at least able to understand basic calculus, probability and statistics as well as the basic knowledge of physics so, for example, someone should intuit that face masks are useless to block an aerosol, and that maybe they could make things worse, because from basic physics, we know that every time we constrict the flow of a given volume per time of a fluid to keep the same flow the velocity of said flow will increase.
And you can see this everywhere. People are unable to understand how renewables can contribute to grid instability, because after more than 12 years of primary and secondary education, most of them don't really understand the basic physics of Alternating Current electric circuits.

That reminds me of a married couple who lived next door to me some years ago, both of them biochemists who worked in private labs but also taught some courses at a local university. Both said their slowest students were medical students.
In all fairness, I've had a few excellent doctors in the past -- but not recently, come to think of it. For one thing, I don't think medical students are taught how to diagnose without high-tech machinery any more.
Doctors who are interested in you as a patient seem to be long gone. I know there are time pressures put on them among other things that make their jobs difficult, but the distinct lack of curiousity about me as a patient is very obvious. My husband is 64. When he was a small child he was regularly ill with pneumonia. His doctor actually made a house call (this would have been more than fifty years ago). When his daughter was a child she had an illness her pediatrician was trying to diagnose. My husband said the pediatrician spent a considerable amount of time researching her symptoms and treatments and discussed his findings over a couple of meetings with my husband. Our experience with our son's pediatrician was nothing like that when my son developed an intestinal issue, and it has been nothing like that for me either (and that includes a MD and a NMD).

If it only reduced risk of serious disease, then mandating it for people who weren’t at risk of serious disease would put them at risk of adverse effects for nothing. And cause labor shortages for nothing.

An intermuscular vaccine will never stop infection of the mucosal nazal passages (the immune systems are separate) thus will never stop the spread. This is immunology 101. Fauci and all the others know this. Vax is a therapeutic. They tried to build a mucosal vax (inject into nose) in past but created too many neuralogical issues with proximity to brain. But it is easy to get the public on side because the subject matter is complicated and most dont want to bother with researching; just trust experts. Yes but aren’t traditional vaccines different or am I still believing medical propaganda? My understanding is that most other vaccines ARE sterilyzing, i.e. they do produce personal immunity for the recipient even if a person can still transmit the disease. I had heard that even old style attenuated or killed virus vaxes don’t produce non-transmissibility. For example, whooping cough, my understanding is a 6 year old gets vaxxed and he is protected but his little 3 yr old brother can still get it from the 6 yr old. In fact can even die. Am I correct?

What is the standard against which we're measuring, how are we measuring, and on what kinds of test groups and control groups?" Plus the symptoms of Covid differ for every person. Once you are vaccinated you can make no claim that your symptoms were less severe than they would have been without the vaccination because you can’t compare it to yourself and what your symptoms would have been like without it. Comparing your Covid “breakthrough” infection to an unvaccinated persons infection is not a true comparison.

The vaccines were never trialed for transmission. Remember. Pfizer got its EUA based on relative effectiveness using symptomatic cases as the primary endpoint Where a symptomatic case was a positive test and at least one non-specific symptom like a sniffle, cough, fever etc. It's not entirely clear to me that anyone in either trial cohort was hospitalized during the period it took to reach a total of 170 cases. Data showed 9 severe cases of covid in the placebo cohort and 1 in the vax cohort, but it wasn't clear if any needed hospitalization. No one died in either cohort. What no one specifically said was that the 9 severe cases were out of about 21,700 people in the placebo arm. So your chances of getting a severe case if unvaxxed were only 9/21,700 or .04%. For this risk, how much vaccine risk would you be willing to take?

Thx for asking. Ive been asking myself that for a while now. I've been answering myself in 2 defeating ways: a) I actually do some cool stuff. Just this week my labs received extraordinarily positive results on 3 in vivo non clinical studies which appear game changing for possible permanent cure for a rare disease. The work was result of 5+ yrs effort and a ton of failures. If lucky, in a year or so, we'll get into clinic for phase 1/2 trials. The reality is however b). B goes like this: I spent +12 yrs in school training, have many bills, and family obligations I impose upon myself. The jobs pay very well and I haven't found the guts to stand up and say enough of the BS and go find another job. I'm guessing me, and millions more like me, are the actual problem bc we're easy prey and end up complying. (Ever see the film/book The Firm?).
Because you asked, there is another aspect I can't explain other than to hypothesize some people have actually been brainwashed. For example, of the team that achieved awesome results on our gene therapy, when confronted as to why the same rigorous studies and standards weren't applied to any of the main Covid vaccines, most have no answer; several say we just need to be cautious and do what we're told; a smaller number appear to agree, or agree privately that something is highly wrong but prefer to say. 'I'd rather not discuss'.

COVID injections clearly don't qualify as vaccines by any stretch of the imagination. A successful vaccine would be very safe while affording durable immunity. COVID injections have proven dreadfully dangerous in the short term (see VAERS) with medium and long term danger still unknown all while any efficacy wanes rapidly. Worse still recent data suggests negative efficacy, meaning those injected are now more easily infected by SARS2 than they would have been. Injection crusaders, like Fauci, are the actual plague upon human society.
If you really want to understand the details of what the cat man is saying, please read RFK's book "The Real Anthony Fauci". You can't pin this on one man, even one as corrupt and incompetent as Fauci. This is a pharma-industrial complex comprised from individuals working in a system so off-science, corrupt and self-interested, it has become a threat to the lives of human beings everywhere. The only way out of this is a deep expose of these criminals starting with worldwide Nuremburg trials for those who were complicit in the mandates and the public health lies around this vaccine and it's creation in a Chinese lab by the NIH. Hundreds of millions of people have been exposed to an experimental vaccine that was never safe for human use, had no rational chance of working from the start, and will have profound ongoing effects on their health and every single immunologist in the world knew it and said nothing. Those criminals who did this must not escape. They must be named and held accountable, all of them.
I've read RFK's book, and I have to caution everyone to be careful of some of his claims. Check his documentation carefully. Some of his sources are questionable, and some don't even support what he's talking about. Also watch out for the way he slants his descriptions with derogatory modifiers for people he doesn't like and positive modifiers for people who agree with him. He also contradicts himself in different parts of the book. One of these days I might write a review article about all the problems I found, but (1) I doubt whether anyone would publish it, and (2) I'd be handicapped by not being able to track down many of the things I remember because (2a) THERE IS NO INDEX, and (2b) after a while I ran out of page flags to mark the questionable passages.
There is no index in the Bible either. He does include meticulous references after each chapter that you can look up. A book isn't a court of law or a scientific paper, it is a treatiste that is revealing a general truth that is understandable to the masses. Given the outright, intentional, excessive and overwhelming lies pushed by the other side that got a few billion people to take an untested genetic drug, which may now be causing them to die in large numbers, I think you are a bit of "look not on the splinter in your neighbors eye when you have a tree in yours". That's a very good point. As an Italian, I lived through 20 years of Berlusconi on and off rule where half of the media had a very similar derangement syndrome, and having followed Trump closely I have noticed many parallels. The other half was, well, owned by him, and it was the other side of the coin and equally bad. Before my time, many Argentinians living under Menem were probably in a similar situation. I then went through the rabbit hole of 9/11 after reading Nafeez Ahmed's seminal book on the topic, the first of too many that followed, and I believed very little that was said during the war on terror. But again these events didn't affect the majority of the world population: what happened this time, I think, it's orders of magnitude bigger in scale, and I fear it will generate an equally sizeable response from the elites.

And I agree. I think in the future we will see a future where a part of global society has a completely different understanding of what occurred from 2019-2024 with a lot less trust by us towards institutions. However as el gato points out often, eventually some lies are too big to maintain and the house of cards will come crumbling down. So the other part of global society that continued to view 2019-2024 through the prism of the official (and ever changing) narrative will eventually see the lies for what they were. The question is how long will that take. It could take a very very long time unfortunately.

I had a conversation with a 2x, soon to be 3x vaxxed friend last night. It was a pleasant enough conversation and since she has been one of my few vaxxed friends with whom I can talk about covid to some rational extent I took the opportunity last night to ask her just a few questions about things she brought up: 1) you are vaxxed and protected, according to her, so what do you have to fear from the unvaxxed? 2) if you are very concerned about using prescription medication (she uses blood pressure pills including diuretic) why are you not concerned about these shots?
She could not answer either question, she just spoke of 'wanting to be safe' and 'this is my decision'.
Even when I asked again, 'what makes you feel unsafe around the unvaxxed' and 'why do you so very readily trust the shots', same non answer. Believe it or not, she at one point referred to a university level virology course she took. We are both around 65 yrs old and have a BSc which makes me just as much of a virologist as she is!
There is a level and mix of fear and brainwashing that makes people like my friend cocoon themselves in whatever beliefs are required to protect their fragile psyches. Show them facts, truth but if it threatens their safety, they'll still be blind to it.

When the board of my civic choir in Austin (which is dominated by the worst of the blue-pilled, fascist lefty types that infest the arts) decided it would be very fashionable to impose their own "vaccine" pass for participation in this fall season back in August, I spent the better part of a day compiling evidence from various medical journals, using their own rhetoric about "inclusivity" against them, and the video of Rochelle Walensky telling Wolf Blitzer on CNN (of all people and places) that "what we know now is that the shots do not prevent transmission."
I was sure that hearing their own high priestess admit this on an "approved" channel like CNN would surely be enough of a slap in the face to make them reconsider their policy, but those petty tyrants didn't even bother to address any of the claims I made. All the chair and executive director wrote back to me was an insincere, "So sorry you won't be joining us this season."

I agree with you, with one caveat. Our medical system at large is just a bunch of monopolistic corporations disguised as individual doctors and hospitals. I live in Montana. We have, for the entire state, two systems to choose from, no matter where you are, one started in the state itself, which is horrid, and the other that is part of a nationwide conglomerate and is also horrid. 99.9% of all the doctors in the states are aligned with one of these two systems and relies on it for employment. You're not going to find much independent thought (nor courage) in a system like that.
I am fortunate. I found a concierge doctor not affiliated with any medical bureaucracy. I have his cell phone number and 24 hr access. He works for me. What a novel thought.

Last time I looked (which is about three years ago), there were concierge doctors in my area. We rarely (thank God) ever go to the doctor, so I couldn't justify spending the money at the time. However, I am keeping it in mind as we get older.

Most doctors don't really understand scientific reasoning and the practice of science. They may be very good at what they do in some strictly bounded domains, being able to accurately diagnose most common diseases in their specialties and correctly indicate the most commonly useful treatments, but when faced with something new or unusual they usually need to have some external help as they are not intellectually prepared to move away from some very well defined protocols.
And this is mostly ok. Most disease in human beings is common and straightforward to treat, and when it is not, we don't expect primary care doctors to be able to treat them or to have a definite opinion on that. The more complex and severe the disease, we can still have protocols, but they are less definite, more varied, and require far more expert criteria to be adapted for a given patient and his clinical situation.
Concerning vaccinations, most doctors don't really understand the more intricate aspects of immunology or virology, but as most vaccines are indeed very safe after as much as ten years of testing, they could recommend them as safe and effective while knowing the contra-indications because the system had correctly worked and they were given good information by the authorities.
Enter the under-tested gene therapies called COVID vaccines, they are sold the same discourse by the authorities, but now this discourse is not truthful, we don't actually know the real risks, and people were subjects in a experiment which is still, and which will still be ongoing for a few years.
But, most of those doctors are afraid to say they really don't understand this. They're afraid of going against the authorities, and when you challenge their beliefs they get outraged, because they are acutely aware they really have no fucking idea what they are talking about, they don't have the required curiosity to try to understand it and probably you, the patient, seems to have more information that what they do.
well if you really look into their training they are specialists: informed in physiology and anatomy and basic "doctoring" that homeopaths had, but they are nothing but glorified drug pushers and sellers.

I've walked out of several doc's offices in the past - never to return. I will not tolerate a 'holier-than-thou' attitude or insistence on pills/procedures than I have refused. We still have the freedom to choose. I finally found one that understands and accepts my decisions without question.

The lack of critical thinking and basic academic skills (math, reading comprehension) in modern society is the root of all our ills.
It used to be that having an higher education even in a social or humanities related field gave you a basic understanding of the principles of the natural sciences that are absolutely required not to be a complete savage in a technical, modern society.
It doesn't matter if you're a PoliSci graduate, having a university education should mean that you are at least able to understand basic calculus, probability and statistics as well as the basic knowledge of physics so, for example, someone should intuit that face masks are useless to block an aerosol, and that maybe they could make things worse, because from basic physics, we know that every time we constrict the flow of a given volume per time of a fluid to keep the same flow the velocity of said flow will increase.
And you can see this everywhere. People are unable to understand how renewables can contribute to grid instability, because after more than 12 years of primary and secondary education, most of them don't really understand the basic physics of Alternating Current electric circuits.

That reminds me of a married couple who lived next door to me some years ago, both of them biochemists who worked in private labs but also taught some courses at a local university. Both said their slowest students were medical students.
In all fairness, I've had a few excellent doctors in the past -- but not recently, come to think of it. For one thing, I don't think medical students are taught how to diagnose without high-tech machinery any more.
I think they teach students to be dumb in med school. My sister used to be smart. Now she's an MD and it's like she got lobotomized.
Doctors who are interested in you as a patient seem to be long gone. I know there are time pressures put on them among other things that make their jobs difficult, but the distinct lack of curiousity about me as a patient is very obvious. My husband is 64. When he was a small child he was regularly ill with pneumonia. His doctor actually made a house call (this would have been more than fifty years ago). When his daughter was a child she had an illness her pediatrician was trying to diagnose. My husband said the pediatrician spent a considerable amount of time researching her symptoms and treatments and discussed his findings over a couple of meetings with my husband. Our experience with our son's pediatrician was nothing like that when my son developed an intestinal issue, and it has been nothing like that for me either (and that includes a MD and a NMD).

The new claims don’t even make sense. If the vaccines don’t stop transmission and only reduce serious disease, then mandating vaccines for healthy people would clearly be an overwhelmingly negative policy. Which we’re seeing now.
If it only reduced risk of serious disease, then mandating it for people who weren’t at risk of serious disease would put them at risk of adverse effects for nothing. And cause labor shortages for nothing.

They absolutely knew it would not stop transmission. An intermuscular vaccine will never stop infection of the mucosal nazal passages (the immune systems are separate) thus will never stop the spread. This is immunology 101. Fauci and all the others know this. Vax is a therapeutic. They tried to build a mucosal vax (inject into nose) in past but created too many neuralogical issues with proximity to brain. But it is easy to get the public on side because the subject matter is complicated and most dont want to bother with researching; just trust experts. Yes but aren’t traditional vaccines different or am I still believing medical propaganda? My understanding is that most other vaccines ARE sterilyzing, i.e. they do produce personal immunity for the recipient even if a person can still transmit the disease. I had heard that even old style attenuated or killed virus vaxes don’t produce non-transmissibility. For example, whooping cough, my understanding is a 6 year old gets vaxxed and he is protected but his little 3 yr old brother can still get it from the 6 yr old. In fact can even die. Am I correct?
Yes, traditional vaccines are different both in the way they work and in their generally expected sterilising effect. As I understand it, an interesting exception is polio: one type is sterilising and the other type is not but has low side-effect rates. The vaccines were never trialed for transmission. Remember. Pfizer got its EUA based on relative effectiveness using symptomatic cases as the primary endpoint Where a symptomatic case was a positive test and at least one non-specific symptom like a sniffle, cough, fever etc. It's not entirely clear to me that anyone in either trial cohort was hospitalized during the period it took to reach a total of 170 cases. Data showed 9 severe cases of covid in the placebo cohort and 1 in the vax cohort, but it wasn't clear if any needed hospitalization. No one died in either cohort. What no one specifically said was that the 9 severe cases were out of about 21,700 people in the placebo arm. So your chances of getting a severe case if unvaxxed were only 9/21,700 or .04%. For this risk, how much vaccine risk would you be willing to take?

Thx for asking. Ive been asking myself that for a while now. I've been answering myself in 2 defeating ways: a) I actually do some cool stuff. Just this week my labs received extraordinarily positive results on 3 in vivo non clinical studies which appear game changing for possible permanent cure for a rare disease. The work was result of 5+ yrs effort and a ton of failures. If lucky, in a year or so, we'll get into clinic for phase 1/2 trials. The reality is however b). B goes like this: I spent +12 yrs in school training, have many bills, and family obligations I impose upon myself. The jobs pay very well and I haven't found the guts to stand up and say enough of the BS and go find another job. I'm guessing me, and millions more like me, are the actual problem bc we're easy prey and end up complying. (Ever see the film/book The Firm?).
Because you asked, there is another aspect I can't explain other than to hypothesize some people have actually been brainwashed. For example, of the team that achieved awesome results on our gene therapy, when confronted as to why the same rigorous studies and standards weren't applied to any of the main Covid vaccines, most have no answer; several say we just need to be cautious and do what we're told; a smaller number appear to agree, or agree privately that something is highly wrong but prefer to say. 'I'd rather not discuss'.
Until that attitude is understood and dealt with, the problems will likely continue. Best answer I can offer. Spread courage.
COVID injections clearly don't qualify as vaccines by any stretch of the imagination. A successful vaccine would be very safe while affording durable immunity. COVID injections have proven dreadfully dangerous in the short term (see VAERS) with medium and long term danger still unknown all while any efficacy wanes rapidly. Worse still recent data suggests negative efficacy, meaning those injected are now more easily infected by SARS2 than they would have been. Injection crusaders, like Fauci, are the actual plague upon human society.
If you really want to understand the details of what the cat man is saying, please read RFK's book "The Real Anthony Fauci". You can't pin this on one man, even one as corrupt and incompetent as Fauci. This is a pharma-industrial complex comprised from individuals working in a system so off-science, corrupt and self-interested, it has become a threat to the lives of human beings everywhere. The only way out of this is a deep expose of these criminals starting with worldwide Nuremburg trials for those who were complicit in the mandates and the public health lies around this vaccine and it's creation in a Chinese lab by the NIH. Hundreds of millions of people have been exposed to an experimental vaccine that was never safe for human use, had no rational chance of working from the start, and will have profound ongoing effects on their health and every single immunologist in the world knew it and said nothing. I've read RFK's book, and I have to caution everyone to be careful of some of his claims. Check his documentation carefully. Some of his sources are questionable, and some don't even support what he's talking about. Also watch out for the way he slants his descriptions with derogatory modifiers for people he doesn't like and positive modifiers for people who agree with him. He also contradicts himself in different parts of the book. One of these days I might write a review article about all the problems I found, but (1) I doubt whether anyone would publish it, and (2) I'd be handicapped by not being able to track down many of the things I remember because (2a) THERE IS NO INDEX, and (2b) after a while I ran out of page flags to mark the questionable passages.
There is no index in the Bible either. He does include meticulous references after each chapter that you can look up. A book isn't a court of law or a scientific paper, it is a treatiste that is revealing a general truth that is understandable to the masses. Given the outright, intentional, excessive and overwhelming lies pushed by the other side that got a few billion people to take an untested genetic drug, which may now be causing them to die in large numbers, I think you are a bit of "look not on the splinter in your neighbors eye when you have a tree in yours". That's a very good point. As an Italian, I lived through 20 years of Berlusconi on and off rule where half of the media had a very similar derangement syndrome, and having followed Trump closely I have noticed many parallels. The other half was, well, owned by him, and it was the other side of the coin and equally bad. Before my time, many Argentinians living under Menem were probably in a similar situation. I then went through the rabbit hole of 9/11 after reading Nafeez Ahmed's seminal book on the topic, the first of too many that followed, and I believed very little that was said during the war on terror. But again these events didn't affect the majority of the world population: what happened this time, I think, it's orders of magnitude bigger in scale, and I fear it will generate an equally sizeable response from the elites.

However as el gato points out often, eventually some lies are too big to maintain and the house of cards will come crumbling down. I had a conversation with a 2x, soon to be 3x vaxxed friend last night. It was a pleasant enough conversation and since she has been one of my few vaxxed friends with whom I can talk about covid to some rational extent I took the opportunity last night to ask her just a few questions about things she brought up: 1) you are vaxxed and protected, according to her, so what do you have to fear from the unvaxxed? 2) if you are very concerned about using prescription medication (she uses blood pressure pills including diuretic) why are you not concerned about these shots?
She could not answer either question, she just spoke of 'wanting to be safe' and 'this is my decision'.
Even when I asked again, 'what makes you feel unsafe around the unvaxxed' and 'why do you so very readily trust the shots', same non answer. Believe it or not, she at one point referred to a university level virology course she took. We are both around 65 yrs old and have a BSc which makes me just as much of a virologist as she is!
There is a level and mix of fear and brainwashing that makes people like my friend cocoon themselves in whatever beliefs are required to protect their fragile psyches. Show them facts, truth but if it threatens their safety, they'll still be blind to it.

I was sure that hearing their own high priestess admit this on an "approved" channel like CNN would surely be enough of a slap in the face to make them reconsider their policy, but those petty tyrants didn't even bother to address any of the claims I made. All the chair and executive director wrote back to me was an insincere, "So sorry you won't be joining us this season."
