You win the Internet for that one. Thank you.

For anyone who gave to GoFundMe, they are stealing the ConvoyTrucker’s money. GiveSendGo is raising money, but the network is crashing from so many trying to donate. Try again tomorrow.

For anyone who donated here is how you get your money back from GoFundMe. Share far and wide.

Rather than request a refund from GoFundMe (they'll spin it that supporters are pulling their funds) - call your credit card company and insist upon doing a CHARGE BACK for deliberate non-delivery of services and theft of your funds. GoFundMe will be charged a penalty fee by your credit card company for this behavior. Try to make sure this blatant thievery costs GoFundMe millions.

Just gave. Again. Lets sue them, isnt that theft?

I’ve been told disputing through your card company actually costs them more. I’m doing both. I haven’t responded to the GoFundMe email verification so I’ll dispute then confirm with them on February 16th.

I can’t get through on GiveSendGo. I’m considering disputing every GoFundMe for the last 7-8 months. 😂

I think a class action suit should follow. They collected fees under false pretense.

And millions of people will never again donate through GoFundMe again. Hard to be a fundraising place when many will simply refuse to donate because of the website……

Thank you!!! I’ve been trying to give $100 since last night. I’ve gotten to “processing” twice, but not through yet. Two of the charges made it to “pending” on my card. I’m waiting to hear back if they actually went through. 😂. I’ll leave both up.

When I read the fine print and saw that GoFundMe takes a % of all the donations, I never gave them anything. I'll send a check directly.

Thanks for spreading this vital information. Make those idiots at GoFundMe pay for their betrayal. With the news that the FBI and other US government agencies are providing support to the City of Ottawa and the Federal government here, it's a safe bet that GFM was also pressured but they folded way too easily so they are also onside with this theft.

I read the Wall Street Journal recap of the protest a few minutes ago. It was disgusting, shocking misrepresentation of the truckers. But then again I expect nothing less from legacy media. Even so called conservative outlets are in lockstep on covid. There has never been a greater threat to the world than these mandates and policies.

Expand full comment

I was watching the Fox News website to see how they would handle it. It took them a couple of days to even really acknowledge it, but their slant now seems to be generally supportive even if mostly ignoring it. I think the thing to realize is that this is taking place in Canada. The US legacy media ignores Canada as rule. It will be interesting to see what happens if this trucker protest spills over to the US.

If the American truckers would get up like Canada has, this would all end in one day.

Why or why is "our" side continuing to use the resources of the fascist left? Why use GoFundMe (which was created to support leftist causes) or Facebook!?!?!?!?! Really? Why not givesendgo or GAB?

Expand full comment

I don’t love Gab, but I’m glad it’s out there. Before this I preferred GiveSendGo, but would use GoFundMe if I really liked the cause. For me it’s now a line in the sand - if a fundraiser is being primarily conducted through GoFundMe I won’t be donating to the cause. Period.

And that's the danger to the Davos crew. A class struggle in which the people who actually make things and do things band together to strike. If anything makes Klaus shit the bed, that is it.

Satan Klaus is having a bad year for sure. I think his Dream of Owning everything is collapsing. However, lets not rule out that for every reaction there is an equal opposite reaction, Satan Klaus has said in July 2021 that "we will have" a Cyber Pandemic where the Electricity and Net will be down "for months or years". This is the dude that wrote a book about The Great Reset and Covid 19 BEFORE the pandemic. Shit the bed indeed friend.

Certainly, there are any number of irons in the false-flag fire that will come down the road. Important, though, as I see it, to factor in time. Sad stuff from the WSJ. I like some of their opinion pieces sometimes but an american elitist financial journal reporting about a populist revolt in Canada... probably not the place where we should look. In Canada the National Post has some good opinion articles about the convoy. No bashing, no misrepresentation. they are showing unbiased pictures of the protest as well. However to keep track of what's going on this is Rebel News all the way.

It’s useful to look at headlines on Fox News and CNN to see what the corporate media feels is the best way to pander to the right and to the left. I suppose looking at headlines on the NYT and WSJ would also get you an idea of what pandering to the left and right elites might look like. Reading their stories actually requires giving them money, though, which seems a step too far.

I hope a US version hits the streets--it'll be epic!

Expand full comment

Jack Spirko (The Survival Podcast) discussed this on his 1/31 episode. Main take-aways were that the Canadian version benefits from a) extreme politeness/civilized nature of Canadian society, and b) high level of social cohesion of same, c) high level of discipline and organization of protesters (as you also note in another comment) and d) government authorities caught off-guard / not particularly ruthless.

In contrast he said (I'm paraphrasing somewhat), US is (obviously) far more divided, less 'nice', FBI and other gov't agencies ready to tangle, Antifa too will be ready to go, etc. In short, 'epic' may be a good way to describe what can occur.

He said he knew of ongoing preparations for a US version. Also said stock up now for 60 days. Seems like good advice.

Good points. I would expect the US version to last maybe 12 hours before all hell breaks loose in some form or another.....

I was about to give up on my fellow Canadians, but they have redeemed themselves! I guess they just needed to see the truckers to get out of the mass psychosis.

Trudeau's government can not recover from this. No matter what they do they will look bad. Everything they have tried to have their well paid for MSM spin has blown up in their face because there are real pictures and video that show it is false.

At this point Trudeau has to decide what is worse for him: going full tyrant with the police brutality we have seen elsewhere (this is going to stain him especially bad given the protest contains women, children, aboriginals, and tax paying hard working Canadians), or being seen to give in with his hand seemingly being forced.

The second option could also be seen as having the balls to apologize to Canadians and admit his parties policies have been wrong all along, but I doubt that is how he will see it.

Expand full comment

NOT A CHANCE - narcissistic psychopaths like Trudeau do not "do" apologies. Besides Uncle Klaus and his friends at the World Economic Forum won't let him. Much less the Chinese who spent a lot of money on Castro Jr. and his merry band of Fascists.

Perhaps I'm of the last generation raised on an appreciation for absurdity. The original Looney Tunes, the original MAD Magazine, books like "1066 and All That"--we learned irreverence if not at mothers' breasts, so to speak, in secret giggling societies, so to speak. Laughing mockery as an essential character trait. Now it's vicious contempt if you put the teeniest of toes out of line.

I was astounded to discover that the Babylon Bee was the only hilarious political-commentary satire site out there. Imagine. The only people with a genuine sense of humor are conservatives--and religious ones at that. The world is sundered from its moorings indeed...

I don't think the average Trudeau voter care about what he's saying and his lies. As goes Canada so goes the world. When all is said and done Canada may be the leader of the free world.

Expand full comment

Perhaps it always was. As someone who grew up in southeast Michigan and who spent a lot of time in neighboring Ontario, my love and respect for Canada and Canadians is deep. Canada got to where it is by attempting to be an open and fair society, trusting in its institutions, and the good will of elected bureaucrats. They got the Trudeau legacy in return and are seeing they price they've paid. That said, my life experience tells me that the truckers represent "most" Canadians.

Expand full comment

This is what it looks like when it's too hard for them to subvert it by breaking a few windows and causing mayhem. They fear this because its organized. They hate that. They thrive when they cause chaos amongst the populace. They loved the BLM movement because they could control it somewhat. They thought a few broken windows was a small price to pay in order to keep the people separated from each other. They want all races to hate each other and not realize how much we have in common. We all just want to live our lives. All of us. Every creed and color just wants to be left alone. I have said since June of 2020 that they love this because the more we point fingers at each other...the less we point at the real problem...the people in power.

Expand full comment

One of the things I've been wondering about for the last couple of years is the degree to which a self-credentialing "elite" is able to go on believing that "controlling the narrative" is a winning strategy when the narrative becomes obviously false -- e.g. Paul Krugman spending 2021 telling readers that inflation is modest and transitory. You know what you spent at the supermarket and the gas pump, so what good does it do?

So now comes the DANGEROUS TRUCKER EXTREMISTS!!!!!! narrative, while people dance in the street and bring food to each other. Do they think we don't have eyes? They have nothing left but "these are not the droids you are looking for," and it just gets dumber by the day.

Expand full comment

I think that they think that we are too busy partying/carrying on ok or such to see it....but....we see it like clear. Really they have been at a money party for a bit, and we have truly been struggling extremely. They can't know or play the room, they are living a diff reality than the room. I am now considered rich because I made 25 grand last year. So many on the streets I can't begin to count. To quote another substacker, 'octagenarian puppet throws up its wrinkled white hands'....(ref. Biden). Somebody who dont throw up their hands would be quite helpful. Like myself, and you.
