One of my struggles through the past 2 years has been the Church's refusal to Stand Firm - including the leadership in the church we've been part of. They are still living in fear. Only a few lion pastors have stood up to the tyranny.
Alas, most pastors first fear losing their job (I know two priests who were forcibly retired when they ran afoul of parish karens). Many (sigh!) fear losing the respect of their colleagues; but very importantly, the good guys find themselves between a rock and a hard place: They love their flock and want to minister to them during this horrific episode of history; they want to be able to say Mass, preach, and to go into hospitals or nursing homes to anoint their parishioners - so they turn their heads, grit their teeth, and offer their arms to the ugly jab. I am happy I am not walking in their shoes. I am glad I do not feel forced to make decisions like this.
And ... it is easy to say - and so desperately hard to live out - but the best advice is "Deus providet," God will provide. Let Him work this out. He will look after you if you refuse the jab. Stand firm, dear priests, and resist. Trust the Lord. He will look after you. You will suffer; we are all suffering. But surely we know this is what being a Christian is all about - uniting our sufferings with the cross of Christ, following Him, bleeding with Him. Trust. Listen. There is joy.

You know the parable of the mustard seed. How it becomes a tree with birds in its branches. The OT references to such a condition (Nebuchadnezzar/Babylon and pharaoh/Egypt) ended with the felling of the tree. It’s sobering.
But, “because you have kept the word of My perseverance, I will keep you from the hour of trial…”.
May we persevere in the face of this onslaught of evil. “Because you have a little power, and have kept my word, and have not denied My name”. Courage.

Your comments about the tree Lawrence, remind me of one of Jonathan Cahn's books "Harbinger 2." There is a lot of tree symbolism explained there. Judgment is coming, you are right. How long do we expect God's hand to be stayed on a nation that has killed 60 million of its children for convenience? Others see signs of revival, but it is not my experience where I am. It's either bowing to fear or business as usual, or as Dr. Gad Saad says, "ostrich parasitic syndrome." They'll live in their little bubble as long as they can. My own understanding of Daniel 7–which I sent to Jonathan Cahn a few years ago—is that the US is the “wings of an eagle” on the “lion”. I think the scenario started unfolding with the Arab Spring in ‘11 (that would be the “four winds stirring up the Great Sea—the Mediterranean Sea). I think the first beast is the Anglo-American alliance or the entire Anglosphere. The wings get plucked in v 4b. Whatever that entails, it’s probably not so good for the US. Next comes the Russian Bear, then the mysterious Leopard—I think it will be an Islamic alliance of 4 nations armed with the war materiel the Brandon regime left for them.
But the US must be out of the picture if the foretold events in the Mideast are to take place, which, of course, they will.
Takeaway: our proud nation seems ripe to be smacked down. But the “two wings of the Great Eagle” appear in Rev 12:14, so the republic will, I think, survive to the time of the Kingdom age.
Yes, Philadelphia is better than Laodicea I suppose, but I find it all so difficult to interpret. Daniel 7 makes Revelation look like a walk in the park. Sam Shamoun encourages people to memorize Daniel 7:13-14. I still have not, although I have been memorizing chapters in Isaiah. Romans 12 is next.
Did you get a response from Cahn? The thing I can appreciate about his work (not so much his writing style) is he's looking backward at connections as the HS is giving him insight. I was introduced to him during an interview Eric Metaxas' Radio Show about "The Oracle" and what he was sharing just blew me away. I also saw a conversation between them after the election where Cahn said he saw no repentance or revival during the Trump years so he expected judgment was coming. I've started to regret praying that it comes sooner than later as I watch Brandon and his ilk destroying our country.

I’ve gotten a lot of help with Revelation from GH Lang, “The Revelation of Jesus Christ” written in 1948. His “Histories and Prophecies of Daniel” is a wonderful book. No one can get it all pinned down. But the seeming train wreck most folks see between Daniel and Revelation can be avoided with the help of Joel Richardson’s “The Mideast Beast” (though I disagree with his understanding of the vision in Daniel 7.)
There are so many striking things in that chapter. Like the lion being made to stand like a man and is given the heart of a man. The national symbol of England. Richard the Lionhearted defeated Saladin in the Holy Land—he was a man with the heart of a lion. England will be just the converse in the end. The irony.

My maternal grandma died when I was 16 (a long, long time ago.) It took me a considerable portion of my adulthood to realize how terribly I miss her and how deeply I regret all the times I could have asked her so much about her life and didn't; could have showed her I love her and didn't.
What these monsters have stolen can never be restored and the wounds in so many millions of hearts will never be repaired. God rot them.
My friend's 98 y/o mom was in a nursing home. For her 99th birthday, they wanted to take her home to celebrate. The NH resisted, but my friend was insistent and her mom was still in her right mind, so they couldn't really force her to stay.
After the party, they forced the now 99 y/o to submit to daily painful nasal tests for two full weeks to prove she didn't have the Chinese lung rot. It was just punishment for her disobedience. She died a few months later (of old age, not the 'Rona) and we're very glad we had the party, though I'm still furious with the NH for punishing her for going.

Bob is an amazing artist with a razor-sharp wit. I've long been a fan, and own one of his signed prints of a Brexit cartoon.
He is also is a young family man who was let go from his job for speaking his opinion. For him to give away usage of his art like this is a very big sacrifice. I plan on going to his website and finding something that I can purchase from him in order to support his work and maybe ease the family's sacrifice just a little bit. It would be nice to see some of my fellow readers there, too.

I love all of these (well, love is maybe not 100% accurate), but the one with the lion roaring gave me chills. That's the stuff of legends. I want to see that plastered on every sidewalk wall, subway car, telephone pole, bulletin board, elevator, and on the front page of every newspaper. Think the Obama "Hope and Change" propaganda. Let's do it with this Lion.

He was sent to Houston and was featured on the local news here. The hospital was UMMC where the Dr uses a drug cocktail of supplements and Ivermectin to treat Covid. He has used this protocol since the beginning of the pandemic. I believe the news said he had worked 671 straight days treating his patients with great success.
