How many people know that CDC Director Walensky admitted to Wolf Blitzer on CNN in early August that the jabs don't stop infection or transmission of the Delta variant and that the unvaxxed and fully vaxxed have similar viral loads? People don't know that the Delta variant arose in India in December 2020...before the jabs.

If we acknowledge the vaccines don’t work to the degree we hitched our wagons to, that means we’re back to either A) lockdowns in perpetuity until we can be guaranteed health, and the kitchen sink (equity disparity resolved, climate change resolved…), or B)we go back to what we knew, that the better shape we’re in, particularly with respect to metabolic health with C19, the lower health burden there will be. Since no one wants to acknowledge B, where does that leave us? Best case scenario is for the country to divorce.

Uber and Lyft drivers are a weak labor pool with few rights and protections and no representation. They're basically the illegal-alien-farm-workers of taxis.
I'm not super shocked that a school district found modern day desperate scabs to solve their problem for them. Thanks to globalization, there will be a solution to most principled walkouts that will require no capitulation whatsoever for the powers that be. We will have India, the Philippines, China, and Latin America to draw on for decades, and if those steps are too drastic, desperate millennial gig workers with student debt.
Maintaining permanent pools of slave labor is very easy when you control everything and everyone is just "doing what they have to."

Uber/Lyft are absolutely BRUTAL with surveillance of their drivers thorough the dash cams, as it gives them an excuse to dock pay and rates. They've been utterly merciless with the mask shit- including passengers (you're supposed to immediately eject them).

The medical profession, nursing in particular, has been a hot mess for over a decade. Hospitals LOVED not paying good wages for permanent employees, so they went to contract work and traveling nurses. Made it sound like a win for EVERYONE! GUESS WHAT, PATIENTS ARE GETTING SCREWED! not the hospitals. Bus drivers, fire departments, police depts, are all saying NO to MANDATES. I don't blame them, we're a fire dept family,. NOT ONE firefighter in my husband's dept has gotten covid in 19 months....foreced vacc is bullying the employees to cover their asses at the City level. Since our illustrious Govt decided NO ONE can be blamed for adverse reactions, WHY WOULD ANY OF US CHOOSE TO BE GUINEA PIGS FOR FAUCI ,CDC, GOVT? Generally speaking i think half of us realize their refusall to act in good faith, will bring down our whole country. School bus drivers is just the tip of the iceburg...

They presently do not. They have an aggressive vaccine promotion program for drivers, but no employment requirement.

I drove through Chicago recently and there were ads all over for driving jobs. They aren’t going to be able to replace those drivers.
