I wonder how many of those parents supported the vaxxine mandates, though.

This is why the "trusted news initiative" (a.k.a., Covid propaganda) must be defeated in court.

How many people know that CDC Director Walensky admitted to Wolf Blitzer on CNN in early August that the jabs don't stop infection or transmission of the Delta variant and that the unvaxxed and fully vaxxed have similar viral loads? I've bookmarked the clip and posted it many times on Twitter and Fakebook.

People don't know that the Delta variant arose in India in December 2020...before the jabs.

People don't know that the Lambda variant arose in Peru in August of 2020...before the jabs.

They get fed a lot of garbage by the idiot talking heads on broadcast and cable "news". They believe the jabs are safe and work well. They believe that evil unwashed unvaxxed are creating new variants and infecting all the "good" people who are doing their part to protect society and stop the pandemic. They believe Fauci is a good man.

What is most alarming to me is how many of them are highly educated and credentialed. They should know better. They think they know better. And they're gonna have a really hard time admitting they were played...duped...brainwashed.

If people understood that the jabs they took...the jabs they want everyone else to take whether they want to or not...simply don't work...maybe the dam would break.

No problem. “Vaccines? We don’t need no stinkin’ vaccines. We’ve got masks!!l”

per Emma Woodhouse:

Illinois DPH Director making her boldest, most insane claim yet about masks yet:

“The bottom line is that masks are as effective as vaccines are."

"Wrecking what worked because you fell for what sounded good" is the de facto motto of (as Sowell would have it) the Anointed. It's a textbook pattern.

1. Identify crisis

2. Urge immediate action

3. Stipulate the action be controlled centrally

4. Dismiss all dissent and resist all contrary evidence

We are seeing now the consequences of Stage 4. The Vision of the Anointed was published in 1995. The strategy isn't new. It's just now being executed on an unprecedented scale.

I only have one disagreement. It never even sounded good unless you were a tone-deaf hysteric.

COVID fear is the new axis along which to polarize people and get them to be angry at each other. Meanwhile, the real disagreement is between regressives who want a "new normal" and everyone else. But the regressives won't come out and say it, because what they want is a political loser.

Love it. Massive game of chicken between the workers who refuse this experimental medical device (the jab) and the authoritarians who want compliance. My bet is on the workers.

Governments of all shapes and flavors are becoming self-own machines, cranking out erudite idiocy and performing perfect self immolation 24 hours a day with zero self awareness. Quite a show.

At what point is it obvious to those people who support the vaccine mandates, but who do not make money because of them, that many otherwise reasonable people feel more than a little queasy about taking the jab? I understand Pfizer "investing" money in celebrities, podcasters, and the like, to promote their message. I am less understanding of run-of-the-mill Karens helping these losers get rich. (Then again, I guess I was unaware how prevalent the religion of authoritarianism was among the proletariat.)

Uber and Lyft drivers are a weak labor pool with few rights and protections and no representation. They're basically the illegal-alien-farm-workers of taxis.

I'm not super shocked that a school district found modern day desperate scabs to solve their problem for them. Thanks to globalization, there will be a solution to most principled walkouts that will require no capitulation whatsoever for the powers that be. We will have India, the Philippines, China, and Latin America to draw on for decades, and if those steps are too drastic, desperate millennial gig workers with student debt.

Maintaining permanent pools of slave labor is very easy when you control everything and everyone is just "doing what they have to."

I drove through Chicago recently and there were ads all over for driving jobs. They aren’t going to be able to replace those drivers.

The medical profession, nursing in particular, has been a hot mess for over a decade. Hospitals LOVED not paying good wages for permanent employees, so they went to contract work and traveling nurses. Made it sound like a win for EVERYONE! GUESS WHAT, PATIENTS ARE GETTING SCREWED! not the hospitals. Bus drivers, fire departments, police depts, are all saying NO to MANDATES. I don't blame them, we're a fire dept family,. NOT ONE firefighter in my husband's dept has gotten covid in 19 months....foreced vacc is bullying the employees to cover their asses at the City level. Since our illustrious Govt decided NO ONE can be blamed for adverse reactions, WHY WOULD ANY OF US CHOOSE TO BE GUINEA PIGS FOR FAUCI ,CDC, GOVT? Generally speaking i think half of us realize their refusall to act in good faith, will bring down our whole country. School bus drivers is just the tip of the iceburg...

Here in WA our hospital utilization is the same it's been for the last 18 months -- but our available beds have decreased lately. Jay Inslee's brilliant plan to fix this staffing shortage is to threaten to fire all the healthcare workers who don't want a jab that doesn't stop transmission.

And as of yesterday, they no longer report total utilization, only covid utilization.
