Here is a challenge for all you cats. Name one western so-called democracy that supports and protects the rights of it's citizens. I am working on a theory, and if there is one, I want to know which one it is.

Hahahaha oh I shall split my sides with laughter!

Rights? You don't have rights here, you have leave. That's the way our system is set up.

Tip: to understand the political climate, read "The new totalitarians" by Huntford. It's legally available for free at archive.org I think.

[https://www.folkhalsomyndigheten.se/the-public-health-agency-of-sweden/communicable-disease-control/covid-19/protect-yourself-and-others-from-spread-of-infection/covid-19-infection-control-measures-from-22-november-and-1-december/]

That link is to the public health agency, Folkh├дlsomyndigheten, and contains the current recommendations, which are quite nonsensical: i.e. they don't really have anything to do with how a respiratory virus behaves.

"These general guidelines do not apply to professional sports."

And how pray tell would a virus know the difference between an amateur and a professional? Ridiculous.

"The regulations for culture and leisure establishments remain and include calculating the maximum number of visitors permissible based on the requirement of 10 square metresper person indoors. However, teaching activities as outlined in the Education Act and activities aimed at children and young people born in 2002 or later are not affected." It sure is an amazing virus this SARS-2-CoV! If we want to show a movie to a bunch of youngsters, the rules apply, but not if we use the exact same room for the exact same group for teaching. Science!

The same applies for shops and stores: supermarkets (as in the three big retail chains owned by some of the richest families in the country) are exempt. Mom and pop-sized stores? Are not.

OTOH, if you stay out of the cities this country is great. There are so few police lft in the countyside - well, I don't want to incite anything, seeing as our police doesn't need probable cause or warrants to hack your computer or tap your phone.

England might be getting close, although not the entire UK, as Wales , Scotland and Northern Ireland still have restrictions in place, and N.I. requires vaxpasses.

This is the current Swedish requirement. So I don't think it qualifies as they have created a segregated society.

"The new restrictions will apply to theatres, concerts, cinemas, night clubs, sports events, dance performances, funfairs, and amusement parks, markets, conferences, demonstrations, and religious services.

Institutions and event organisers will be excused the new restrictions if they require that all those attending have shown a valid vaccination certificate. "
