Heinlein referred to it as long-pig in Farnham's Freehold.

I thought that book was banned. It shows blacks in a bad light.

It did not seem very focussed on blacks if I recall. It was more critical of fake religious fundamentalists, I think middle eastern roots but memory fails. The stick shift transmission element remains with me.

There is a lot of fiction that is critical of every single idea in the world, banning them because it hurts sensibilities rather chills the literary space. Banning speech that labels a person who has been vaccine injured as an anti-vaxxer seems a much better censorship but not going to happen nor should it. Eliminating all mention of socially difficult concepts from literature would prevent people from opposing those who direct people to hate their neighbours because the topic is not allowed to be discussed.

I had not heard the book being banned but little surprises me in censorship landscape, any reason is a good reason, even if the reason was bad the division it causes is always a bonus for the globalists who want to divide humans.

The reason I believe that the anti movements are contrived and weaponised empathy is because the anti violent arcade games is not managed to the same level. Shooting someone in a game is ok but saying a bad word in a book is not. This is irrational therefore any such acts by opaquely funded bodies is almost certainly propaganda.
