So as an unvaccinated person, I am protecting others, technically speaking, from discouraging virus enhancement.

By discouraging

Yes, and by contributing to TRUE herd immunity.

Never has the principle of "Don't just stand there, DO SOMETHING!" been used to worse effect. What is it about human nature that makes people think they need to do something for every single risk that comes along. If only we had handed out lucky rabbit's feet at the beginning of this pandemic, then we would have been better off. Magic amulet. Praying to God. Just don't take the vax, people!

When I was in college, and we were all sitting around on a Friday night wondering what to do, I had one buddy who would always say, “Let’s do something even if it’s wrong!” I’ve lost track of that friend, but I’m thinking he might work for the CDC now.

Expand full comment

Actually, we have a magic amulet called masking. It is also does harm.

Expand full comment

Exactly. Got into a relatively heated discussion with someone trying to get me to concede that 'masks at least do a little bit of good'. I said, no, you might as well tie a rabbits foot around your neck and furthermore, we cannot psychological damage we're doing particularly to kids. This person had utterly failed to consider that a year plus of masking might have consequences and he is a child psychologist. The intellectual class is currently destroying the world. Luckily more people are sobering up every day!

Expand full comment

All leftist policies “work” only if you assume the goal is to destroy everything.

The fact that people can not, actually will not, see the obvious with regard to masks, does not augur well for their ability to understand anything substantive about either Covid, or the vaunted "vaccine".

The physics, and indeed the actual performance of masks, are easily appreciated by anyone who's ever worn one. From a physics standpoint, the virus is tiny and the pore size of the masks are huge. This has been widely reported, so that even the woke can appreciate that you don't stop fleas with a chain-link fence. But, even if that simple science eludes them, you would think their actual experience wearing a mask would suggest something not right regarding mask efficacy. I mean, how many times do you have to clear your fogged glasses, because air is escaping around the top of the mask before you figure it out? How many times must you hurry past a kid with a poopy diaper before the clue bird arrives?

There's probably 30 or 40 robust studies now, showing the futility of masking, but what chance do they have of convincing the woke rabble, when they can't even accurately interpret their own first hand experience.

Expand full comment

It’s because they are still hyper-locked on the outdated assumption that covid is spread by droplets and not aerosols, and public health officials don’t want to correct them because if they pointed out how air works and people realized their masks were actually placebos, the hysteria levels of March 2020 would begin all over again at least in major cities and highly leftist circles.

Sounds like that person doesn't have enough general understanding of how his own body works, let alone begin advising on what others and their children do with theirs!

It's not rocket science- cover your airways, less oxygen, for all your major organs and then reinhaling all the stuff your body is trying to get out. And th a t's after 10mins.

Apart from taking the vaccine, 😉

You couldn't suppress your immune system more!

IF masks 'work', they are simply extending the duration of the crisis. We obviously want this to be over ASAP as long as hospitals aren't overrun.

As the definition of "vaccinated" changes from 1 shot/2 shot, +1 booster to +2 boosters, these previously "vaccinated", that became infected while "vaccinated", are shifted to the unvaccinated columns. And will continue to skew the data for unvaccinated as the next booster is required to qualify as "vaccinated".

Karen has ALWAYS been selfish. Some people have to stay home to protect her. Other people have to go to work so she can get her Starbucks.

Expand full comment

Karen is not selfish! She wants Joe Biden to mandate vaccination for all the young men and women employed by Starbucks who are putting together her Caramel Macchiato so we can finally put this pandemic behind us. Likewise, she wants every employee to remain masked up for an entire eight-hour shift per the Governor's orders, following CDC guidance, to protect his or her fellow employees and to protect all the customers who are vulnerable or immunocompromised or who have children too young to be vaccinated, who should be able to enter a Starbucks to order coffee without it possibly being a death sentence, although her own mask is optional when she's in her car at the drive-thru window.

Well, just add this data point to the mountain of evidence rolling in that these injection products are not working as hyped (Berenson also posted on this this AM). What to do… “Moar Shutdowns, masks, and passports!” Cause nothing works like what hasn't worked before!

At some point we have to come to terms with the likelihood that we are in a civilizational regime collapse. The modern nation state no loner functions in the west, is not self correcting, and will likely crack up (is cracking up), devolving into a myriad of regional and local polities. Plan accordingly.

Expand full comment

Exactly what I've been thinking since yesterday, it's the beginning of the end times for our civilization. Whatever and whoever (unknown for now!) comes out is going to be something completely different.

I can't really plan ahead, but these last two years made me really discover my previously unknown inner strengths. I can filter vast amounts of confused information and propaganda, I don't bow easily to external and societal pressure, I've become incredibly (compared to before) pshychologically resillient, today I even watched the TV news hour and enjoyed the absurdity. In short, I only have to start working on my body a bit more and I feel fairly confident about my chances.

Probably many of you are the same. They seriously underestimate the amount of mental and psychological workout they havr made us do in the last two years. In 2019, many are still keen to go back there, I was a complete sissy compared to today and we're possibly only getting started.

So, heads up everybody. And please don't take this as some kind of moral superiority over the obedient on my part. Everybody's had their chance to think things over and decide by now. Everybody still has a chance in my book. Each one of us here still decides every day and that's what makes me a mild optimist.

A couple of months I said on Twitter that soon, people will be asking how to get "un-vaccinated".

There is no such way, it is like asknig to fix a smashed vase.

Obviously 'unvaccinated' isn't an option.

However not accepting the next doses is an option.

This is why standing up and refusing 'booster for a Digital ID' is paramount.

Expand full comment

I agree with you. But I am wondering, with terror in my mind, if the first two doses were enough damage already and whether the situation with the vaxxed getting sick will deteriorate further

Expand full comment

All of my family members who were all in on the two doses, all but demanding I get "vaxxed" are suddenly very unwilling to get their boosters six months later.

When I welcome then to the ranks of the unvaxxed as the government will soon declare them without a booster, they do not see the humor in their situation.

Expand full comment

This is an interesting observation. Why are they unwilling to get vaxed?

Expand full comment

I've sent them a lot of information about the negative side effects of the shots, and I think they may always have had some hesitancy about getting the shots in the first place.

But I have to admit, I was surprised at how uniform they are, individually, in not getting the booster.

Expand full comment

Given a few more weeks or months, those who stop at 2 doses and refuse "boosters" will be defined as unvaccinated, so agreed, it won't be an option, but it will become the definition. And agreed on refusing boosters, some eager beaver panic ponies I know got theirs and moaned about how adverse their initial reaction was... they ain't seen nothing yet!

One thing I've thought about recently regarding all of this "vaccine" madness: Somewhere, someone is *definitely* taking note of all of this. After all, this has all been "experimental", and the world's population are the test subjects. I truly believe they are watching and learning from what is happening so they can "do it better" next time... and that is terrifying. Thank you Mom for teaching me to keep myself healthy the best I can, to only take pills or shots if there is absolutely no other way out, to eat a salad once in awhile and do the "bad stuff" in moderation. Wow... what a concept for today's population.

Arguments pro avoiding vaccination and relying on early medical intervention. 1) Early medical intervention is more effective than vaccination in reducing hospitalization and deaths 2)Early medical intervention doesn't risk hospitalization, death, or severe long term disability. 3)Spike protein remains in the body for over 15 months, so its effects are cumulative. Keep getting enough booster shots and your chances of succumbing to a nasty vaccine adverse reaction approach certainty. 4)Natural immunity is more effective protection against variants than mRNA vaccines which so far offer narrow protection against only the original strain of the virus. And this protection rapidly wanes after 4 to 6 months. 5)Those who have recovered from Covid offer another way of achieving herd immunity since recovery results in years of complete immunity from Covid. They can't get Covid or transmit Covid. 6)Vaccination is responsible for the increase of new Covid variants since the new variants are selected to escape the narrow protection which present vaccines and boosters offer against Covid. 7)Coronaviruses, such as Covid, are constantly mutating so there is no way to develop a completely effective vaccine against them. 8)Covid, unlike smallpox, ebola, polio, is not a very lethal infection. In fact, it has an over 99% survival rate in all age groups. 9)Unvaccinated people with Covid are not overrunning hospitals or hospital ER rooms. 10)Lockdowns do not control Covid and result in damaging the economy. 11)If you don't get vaccinated, you have only a small risk of getting Covid, and, with early medical treatment, you have practically zero risk of hospitalization, death, long Covid or disability. 12)However, if you do get vaccinated, you are guaranteed to experience a significant risk of adverse reactions, including paralysis, seizures, blood clotting disorders, strokes, heart attacks, disabling fatigue, hospitalization and death. And the more booster shots and vaccinations you accept, the greater this risk grows. 13)The statistics comparing Covid case rates, hospitalizations, deaths show that countries with very low rates of vaccination such as India, Mexico, Palestine, etc. have much lower death rates than countries with high rates of vaccination such as U.K., Israel, Iceland, etc. Success in controlling Covid in these countries should inspire us to adopt their model.

Expand full comment

I have also read in numerous discussions that actually having covid results in a much broader immunity against all the proteins of the virus, whereas the vaccines focus only on the spike protein part, and this is one of the reasons the virus has been able to mutate around the spike and create variants, thus creating a lesser degree of immunity. All the statistics and arguments I'm seeing now argue for early treatment and abandoning the ridiculous idea of 100% vaccinated populations as a way to eliminate covid, which is simply impossible anyway. Also, the arguments explaining how too much vaccination during a pandemic is counter-intuitive and leads to multiple variants and a prolongation of the whole thing makes total sense at this point. It's criminal how the use of treatments early on were suppressed.

My son and his girlfriend were students at UC Davis in the fall of 2019. Davis is/was crawling with students from China...and Wuhan! They got sick in late November 2019, and doctors couldn't then figure out what this weird thing was that was going around with a lot of people. The girlfriend has asthma, and she required ER treatment one night due to breathing problems...doctors weren't sure what to do, but she got a nebulizer with some sort of steroid treatment for a few days, as well as.....ivermectin. She got better fairly quickly, although she was somewhat under the weather for about a month. My son recovered in about a week. They've never been sick again since, despite being around a lot of people who came down with covid later on. It was only later and in retrospect that they realized what they probably had was covid. They weren't tested of course, so they can't be sure. Early treatment is the answer, I have come to believe. Also helped by a good immune system, eating properly, not being overweight, taking necessary vitamins.

VE = Vaccine Effectiveness

VD = Vaccine Danger

VD = -VE

[When Vaccine Effectiveness is Negative, it should be considered a Danger rather than the fancy words epidemiologists and vaccinologists use: enhancement or enhanced aquisition which has a baseline positive connotation in English language compared to Danger which is accurate in communicating risk]

In other words, vaccines are not one and done at worst. They can be one and many many more and never done while the risk keeps increasing for everyone else.

Expand full comment

A treatment cannot be considered safe and efficacious if the treatment is

1) only "safe" if patients tolerate it (self-fulfilling as non-tolerability, means failure to adhere to treatment protocol, therefore "untreated".)

2) only "efficacious" with an arbitrary time delay (7 days, 21 days, 28 days?) where other people without the treatment are hit with something worse than what existed before the treatment.

This is rigging the system. Since the future prevalence and pathogenicity is being modulated by the treatment itself!

Therefore, I suggest that we have to call these types of treatments that create an initial negative efficacy and safety that later turn positive as pseudo-treatments and

Vaccine Danger = change in the slope of ((Case/Treated)/(Control/Treated))/((Case/Untreated)/Control/Untreated))

as a measure to detect this as onward transmission.

Onward transmission should be measurable by the delay in the reversal of the odds of getting treated and dying of the cause that you were being treated for being shifted to the untreated population.

This is happening leaky vaccines after day 11. The community appears to pay the price 3-10 days after vaccination starts in the community depending on who is being vaccinated in the community. Naturally, the effect is fastest in health care workers and elderly and slowest in children. That is the delay before tsunami will be longer as children will not die but shed later as incubation is harder and longer than elderly.
