In years to come, people are going to look back at photos of milestone events with their masked kids (well, adults too, but kids especially). I can imagine they'll have so much regret when they can't see their kids' faces and wonder if some of these future parents and grandparents will realize memories of their kids' faces have gone fuzzy.
Compare what you can of the facial expressions too. The kids look despondent and disinterested. The clowns are all so giddy and prideful.
