You know Ryan, if more people would read Vonnegut, maybe we wouldn’t be in this mess!!!!!

Yeah and a pinch of his skepticism, self-deprecation and his understanding of human nature could go a long way in waking people up?

I will say Vonnegut just lays it out there… Miller? Heck, he was hopeful!

I read most of them in college, but wondered if they would still work. Which would you recommend?

Cats Cradle? I love his short story “Harrison Bergeron”. Its a quick read on the internet. Google it. It’ll bring back memories!!!

Agree with Steve.

Quick Intro into the Vonnegut: Harrison Bergeron. The whole thing's right here, maybe a 15-minute read. https://www.tnellen.com/cybereng/harrison.html

And Cat's Cradle is my favorite novel. Fave quote, surely posted here by me several times:

--

Former Nazi "Physician" Julian Castle: "Self-taught, are you?"

Little Newt: "Isn't everybody?"

Castle: "Very good answer. "
