The problem with huskies is that they are so well insulated they feel cold to the touch on the outside! I used to wake up next to mine (not in a -40 degree hole in Fairbanks, mind you...in a cool but not freezing attic bedroom) and poke her awake because I thought she was dead.

I guess it depends on the breed of husky. Siberians and wolf-mixes can be pretty toasty.
Mine is a beagle mix. VERY toasty. And lovely snoring too
