After reading this, I've figured out that I've been in several abusive relationships: one with the federal government, one with my state government, and one with my employer.

Who are the professionals I should seek help from? I'm ready to stop the abuse. #MeToo

Obviously, governments are using this as their playbook. Literally they are doing every single one of these things!

it's not abuse, it's just how i show you i love you

Well yes. I grew up in an extremely abusive and dysfunctional family and boy has the Canadian government's actions all throughout covid called that to mind. They're less sadistic than my parents but the tactics are the same.

Wait til they declare gun safety and racism a public health emergency....oh, wait a minute 🤔

Wow, public health checking off every single one of those... I thought maybe 1 or 2 wouldn't apply, but nope!

It is truly uncanny how every one of these so perfectly aligns with Covid public health policy. I can’t get over how each and every one has been employed.

I have experienced domestic violence once in my life, but the government is the only one who has and still is abusing me.

And the Government is just getting started....FIGHT BACK!

Brandon told me that he'd bring us together, that there'd be no more fighting, that we'd have a bright future.

Then he told me it was my fault that we were poor, unsafe, and unhealthy because I didn't do what I was told, and he told the neighbors to shun me.

Then he sniffed my hair.

If you are in the US and local elections are coming up: Email the candidates, ask them about COVID policies, and vote accordingly. These elections are often decided by small margins where we can have an impact.

I had a good laugh about this! Although it is not really a joke, this is what is happening. Luckily, I only have a dog and 4 cats. They never do any of this. Animals are such wonderful companions.

Is there a hotline we can call?

Expand full comment

I've been looking for something as nicely compiled and tightly knit about what's going on. Thank you, good kitty.

Wow. Every cat-(heh)-egory fits!

Prayer is pretty powerful. And self examination. Might be good to read Letter from

A Birmingham Jail again.

Now the question is, who's that professional that we can seek out?

No way, is this real?

It’s not the government that’s abusive, it’s YOU! You win Substack today, Gatito! 🙌

You're not alone, gatito bueno. The government confused this for their public health plans as well. I guess it's a common mistake to make?

I saw this a year ago and I have been TRYING to find it since then, thank you!!!!

I think I'll copy this and replace the center text to add "with your government" Then I'll post copies around in public places, including the local courthouse where they have these kinds of posters. Maybe other people will do the same and make it truly viral.

Wow! Yeah that's the US right now. What I would call a toxic environment. And I've learned that you don't win in toxic situations.

Hee! Hee Gatito! 😉😂

Hahaha, great comparison!

Sounds like the government’s instruction manual… they did a thorough job!

What they say, we keep doing the opposite. If we go to jail fine....if we get fined...fine if we get abused by fanatics...fine....do it anyway. do it anyway with silence, calm and dignity.

The "Punish you for breaking the rules, but the rules keep changing!" sign speaks to how we are all being treated like prisoners. That's why it's called a lockdown.

A while back, I was perusing the NYT Covid statistics and what really stood out, especially in California, is the sheer number of outbreaks and cases related to prisons and old folks homes. It occurred to me that this may be a pandemic driven by institutional irresponsibility, where the state, ultimately responsible for these victims, either directly (prisons) or through regulation (old folks homes), are allowing the the virus to run rampant in those in their care and then using the statistics to impose restrictions on the rest of us. It is just a hunch that these specific statistics would be interesting to study in depth - prisons and old folks homes - as compared to the rest of the population.

If you're familiar with dysfunctional family theories, you look around and see how the borderlines' are driving the bus with their enablers gleefully cheering them on.

So, it makes sense that they resort to their abusive techniques to control the rest of us.
