the good news is, the wizard said he's going nowhere. NZ politics are getting really, really ugly with the covid and climate stuff. besides the ridiculous overreaches, they just lie. lie. lie and expect people to start believing it. Just like Zwarte Piet in Holland. So much special tradition. My 97 year old daddy remembers so many happy fun memories of Sinterklaas and Zwarte Piet. I have vague memories as we came to the US when I was 9. So I do recall the stars in my eyes.
Oh well. We humans have such a racist beginning.
