Promotional landscape? What sort of piffle is that? They truly think people are nothing more than cattle to be herded and told what to think and do. On the other hand I do think diversity is worthy goal which is why I think unvaccinated folks are so beneficial, despite the risks, because they maintain a higher diversity of mutations/variants as opposed to the vaccinated who are more selective/exclusive regarding the virus. NZ politics are getting really, really ugly with the covid and climate stuff. besides the ridiculous overreaches, they just lie. lie. lie and expect people to start believing it. Just like Zwarte Piet in Holland. So much special tradition. My 97 year old daddy remembers so many happy fun memories of Sinterklaas and Zwarte Piet. I have vague memories as we came to the US when I was 9. So I do recall the stars in my eyes.

There's a major cognitive dissonance between increasing diversity and refusing to allow any non-natives into the country.
