My daughter has until Sept. 1st. Small behavioral health setting. No kids or adults in the last year and a half have tested positive. Oh wait, a 12 year old did today (recommended because he had a slight temp on Monday)- parents took for second test. Negative. But he is now coded as a CASE here in Az. And my kid is still mandated to get the vaccine. She is ready to quit work because of it and has hired a Dr. who will fight for her medical and civil liberties.

What form of government is the United States? Is it just taken for a given now that these decisions NEVER result from legislative action, but are ALWAYS via executive fiat? Huge, major changes announced with no debate and no public input?
So are they going to replace health care workers with all the immigrants coming across the border? I assume they are all vaccinated as required for international travelers?
Unfortunately I had to move to CA a year ago for a program for my special needs son. I’ve complained plenty about the fires, homelessness, cost of living, taxes etc. But this current authoritarian push by Dems in all their states is the last straw. I played along with the nonsense mandates and lockdowns, but you come after my kids? It’s only a matter of time until it’s mandatory vaxes for all children and I’m going back to FLA.
It is rather convenient that gov’t unions in NY don’t want a mandate so suddenly everyone believes Cuomo’s accusers. Also all local town, city, county offices up for election. Going to be real lit around here in November!

I’m in North San Diego county and we are facing fascism, mask mandates for our school children, more lock downs. The VA has implemented this same policy nationwide and the largest hospital system in NH has just made the same announcement - everyone who works for them must be vaccinated by 9/30. It's insane and there's no discussion of those with existing immunity and having a test for that (which is exactly what is done for things like measles, mumps, rubella, and chickenpox).
Interesting how completely Baby Cuomo is being thrown under the bus in public by the DNC, all the way up to Sleepy Joe Yeltsin. How far the New Yorker's "gold standard governor" has fallen. Looks to me like the DNC is taking a hard look at 2024 and they "know" that Newsom will miraculously survive the recall and they don;t want Baby C muddying the waters. Newsom to run as Harris' VP?
