I wonder whether that has been part of any tests of the deceased. IOW, whether that comorbidity is unknowable. Because yeah, if that is part of blood work or whatever that is typically done on the dead, it could be a hugely important piece of info.

Yes I think I have research here on testing postmortem. In the cohorts I have seen, there were no deaths in patients with a level above 35ng/ml. And I have seen calculations indicating that the USRDA for D is off by an order of magnitude.
In my case, I take 6000iu/day, plus zinc and quercetin. I have had 3 extended exposures to cv19 cases and no symptoms. Unknown if it's the D/etc or preexisting cross-reactivity from something else.
It is D. I've been on 10,000 iu/day for three years+. Husband had covid in 2020 (November) and neither myself nor our kids (one an infant at the time) ever got covid - older kid was always on vit D and baby got it through breastmilk.
I was always stunned that the death of a apparently healthy 29 year old never got any investigation or follow-up. Maybe it was done, maybe not. But the lack of curiosity amazed me. Just like 'science' isn't interested in why some people despite considerable exposure, like sleeping with your mate, never get ill. Nope, vaccines will fix it according to 'science'. Many deluding politicos later we arrive at failure. Mass hysteria indeed, affecting our learned experts.
