you just have to realize that many of the folks that have been drawn into this are moving into a field that they have not worked in before. it's complex, the biology is something they have not assessed before, and drug and vaccine research and studies are a highly specialized field in which not many are conversant.
i just happened to know how it worked when this all began because i read A LOT of studies like this and work on their design.
to come in as a layperson you expect vaccines to work, at least partially. ideas like OAS and the long track record of mRNA being an awful modality for therapeutics are arcane even among those who work in life sciences.
it's really not fair to pillory the folks who came in as non experts and sought to get up to speed. this is hard, confusing, non-intuitive material.
save that for all the folks who claimed to be experts and clearly had no idea what they were saying, the one who lied and who claimed their credentials granted credibility.
they're the ones who hurt us.
they're the clowns that fell for bad drug trials and worse data handling and they're the ones that were supposed to know better.
It’s been weird to see half of my friends and colleagues with physics degrees be on team reality from the beginning and the other half be on team lockdown. Never quite understood what caused the initial split. It was not necessary to have had the requisite background in vaccines, viruses, and epidemiology to have been able to synthesize the data as it came in. One just needed to go in with a distrust in the authorities own skills and motives.
It probably depends on whether they get their view of the world through mainstream media outlets. Even smart well-educated people can be naïve and are subject to groupthink.
You gotta dig under the Astroturf...and it's all astroturf. Without Sub I would be lost, this and TheCovidWorld...now if Sub would just dump E T o p o l ....
As a “critical” cultural medical anthropologist, I have been intrigued at this divide. Yes, I believe Gato is correct about the arcaneness of biological understanding beyond the reach of many, abd that lead untrained folks to accept the narrative. But it goes beyond that as well to a level of trust in authorities and degree of sensitization (or rather far too often, desensitization to pressured efforts to pushing specific ic narratives, castigating earnest clinicians developing early treatments, cancellations of alternative thinkers, and apparently consolidated efforts to promote a singular vax view globally along with demonization of challengers. To me, the question is how much of these will it take to open up minds, both of those trained in the esoteric sciences and those untrained. Given the experts that continue to promote the vax narrative, there is clearly much more going on. I would love to unpack that complexity.
it starts at birth with trauma training using a neurotoxic injection, continues through critical five years with 72 doses. All while held in your parent's loving embrace, mostly during preverbal years.
Dr. Robert Malone's presentation on "Mass Formation Psychosis" is a powerful explanation. There is a three hour interview with Joe Rogan, but the transcript from his presentation in Tampa is compelling.
I appreciate your magnanimity. However, this was presented as an existential crisis by ALL players. As such, this demanded that we educate ourselves on the topic thoroughly and fast. I did not work in this field, even peripherally, but I was pulled in to it peripherally in February 2020 (call me some week when you have absolutely nothing to do, and I will regale you with the particulars). All of the "arcane" topics you referenced, I was able to grasp by March/April 2020. I must say that it was horrible watching a train wreck happen in real time, especially when you were telling those around you that the train was fixing to wreck.
Where I ran into frustration and a little bit of anger, was when I tried to discuss these issues with people that should have been able to grasp the subject matter, or to at least be capable of simple doubt concerning the narrative. For the most part, I was met with the same kind of incredulous response as Mr. Tucker's.
I must admit that getting through is a matter of having your facts well in order, combined with patience and steadfastness. We must press home the truth, or we succumb to the insanity.
It is gratifying to see you stand up for your friend. Sad how people jump to negative conclusions about individuals without bothering to learn the facts. Jeffrey has been an outspoken opponent to the tyranny from day one. Denigrating him because he didn't expect the vax to increase the spread is so childish.
I’m just a retired school teacher with a BS in Education, but I had the time to read everything I could. I started reading and watching in December 2019 before C got to the US.
I was suspicious when I heard a vaccine would be developed at warp speed. I knew that wasn’t the way to go, and I was leery. After the Vs came out, I read everything I could find about them and their manufactures I even read older articles about lipid nanoparticles and their functions and I refreshed myself about mRNA.
When it was made public that a few women died from J and J, I wondered if the others had side effects, too, and continued reading.
How anyone can trust our government or big pharma is beyond me, but then,I was raised by a conspiracy believer.
Anyone else wonder if Bob Saget’s death was booster related? I know people still die of natural deaths, but it looks as though he was doing a big tour and I imagine he had to be vaccinated for venues in some cities and states.
I am with you. My skepticism heightened as I attempted to read biologists’ critiques, only to find them removed as mis/ ( or worse, dis/) information. I found myself going down the rabbit hole until I finally could read them at Bitchute. When my daughter asked me why I was on a white supremacist, I knew there was something much deeper going on, that only “such” a website would allow fir discourse.
I don’t work in the field either. Just thought the initial reaction especially in the media was wild, so starting gathering local data. I found the nursing home problem in Pa. before it was reported by noticing a large number of deaths in a low population county. This was before vaccine availability. So, I stopped buying the “ be terrified” narrative. I also became hooked on investigating everything I could about the virus and subsequently the jabs. Decided not to worry and not to jab. Have argued with several docs who sadly had only fear not facts. But, not ALL. A few were reasonable. I agree with your position except for ALL. And, it’s good to have folks join the thinking brigade, even if they come late to it.
Agreed. He was correct on the most important issues, lockdowns, mandates, etc. And as early as anyone, perhaps one of the first to object to all the insanity that has ensued. I agree with El Gato Malo here, Jeffery is being humble about an area outside his direct expertise. I think many people who had the correct idea about what to do and not do as a society, still didn't realize how Pharma could be this bad (both nefarious and incompetent). Having gotten to know him just a little bit, personally and in person, I can tell you Jeffery is very much an asset to out side. Heck, he organized the Great Barrington Declaration, that alone is enough for us all to thank him.
Very similar timing of progression here. In April, 2020, I had a discussion with two Dutch visitors; it was more that they asked questions, and I answered. I made it clear that with mortality rate of some 0.25%, there was no issue to deal with. The other salient point I made was that science was dead.
Gato I love your posts and all the comments from a really great group of people. Always look forward to them. Thank you. But I agree with Tinner. I have a Masters degree in Advertising, no science background, and I knew none of this made sense from the get go. At first it was just a feeling. But a few simple searches, listening to Alex Berenson on Tucker from the jump, reading his booklets — one had to at least suspect something wasn’t right. Nothing made sense. The riots were ok for public health during a “pandemic”? That was it for me. Then there are so many other things that never made sense. We all know what they are, no need to list them again. And I’m sorry, but I have friends like this. They refuse to listen to any facts presented. Glad Jeffrey Tucker is coming around now, better 18 months late than never. Again, Gato, thank you for all you do. Much appreciated.
As Jesse Kelly says, "If I told you there were land mines on the lawn and the next day you saw me dancing on the lawn, you wouldn’t call me a hypocrite. You’d assume I was lying about the land mines."
You will be able to use the same argument with all the poor and starving in years to come when the economic train wreck becomes apparent. It was to hard to research about money so I let some one else do it for me and now am broke. IT was never approved for regular use, thus exempting Pharma from any consequences. Cat there is a reckoning coming and it will not be pretty. People who's children have been damaged by this quest for world wide control and profit will not take oops and were sorry as an answer. The debt will be paid in blood.
But why is he held up when there are those of us "lay people" that used our critical thinking skills from the get go? Glad he is your friend but why is he so late to the party? I mean just the fact that we are using a 2019 vaxxine for a 2021/2022 season (when the flu vaxx changes every season) would cause me to ask questions. Thanks for answering man cub!
To come in as a layperson, yes, in theory. But lay people also can and should know that there are a LOT of unknowns and variables to a "vaccine" developed at breakneck speed and for which there is literally NO long-term data as to the "vaccine"'s safety AND efficacy.
I'm no journalist, I don't make my livelihood by spending hours every day doing journalism things, and yet from the get-go I knew I was not, and maybe never was, going to take the jabs. For the very reasons in my first paragraph.
How could the Tuckers of the world *not* have had similar skepticism? They're *journalists*, FFS. That's should be their *default* position. How can we *not* call them fools now, for their fealty to Big Brother and for their abandonment of one of the pillars of real journalism - skepticism?
Being a "smart guy" is not nearly enough, when one doesn't apply those smarts where and when they're *most* needed.
he's not. he's a smart guy and a friend of mine.
he's been a strong advocate for team reality, albeit a more recent one.

I believe you're 100% correct about this. Turn off the TV and you'd never know a "deadly virus" was stalking the land.
You gotta dig under the Astroturf...and it's all astroturf. Without Sub I would be lost, this and TheCovidWorld...now if Sub would just dump E T o p o l ....
I think fear is a big factor, at risk of ringing the Obvious bell. Fear pulls the blinders on.
Fear leads to hysteria. Hysterical people are easily led.

Pretty grim and depressing, with little protection beyond a discerning rebellious parent!

Yes. I heard part if it, but need to go back to the text. Thanks!

not by him.
he's just admitting that not even he, who has been very skeptical of all this, saw this coming.

Yes. Reading/stalking Jeffrey's Twitter feed is why I know about 99% Team Reality, including Gato, Berenson, CJ Hopkins, TES, Jennifer Cabrera, etc.

I was thinking the same thing. He was boosted December 11th, 2021.
I didn’t know if he had been or not, but I couldn’t help but wonder.
Here's a good article about it:

Tucker is being somewhat sarcastic here. He’s been rock solid on this stuff.
Agreed. He was correct on the most important issues, lockdowns, mandates, etc. And as early as anyone, perhaps one of the first to object to all the insanity that has ensued. With holding therapy with IVM and HCQ was a huge red flag for me. The censorship was the second red flag.
The 180-degree pivot once Biden was selected was yet another red flag. Red flags EVERYWHERE, yet somehow Tucker missed them ALL?
Sorry, but that's an indictment. And a solid one, not a Raymond Donovan-esque or Ted Stevens-esque indictment.

Another person to start following is the great Coleen Rowley who is now in da house on this issue too. Look her up.
