I was censored from writing about the NRA back in the early 2000s -- about how their instructors train military instructors (well, they did at the time), they train police shooting instructors, they conduct the Camp Perry shooting championships, they teach hunter ed, and they teach shooting self-defense. But I wasn't allowed to write any of that because the newspaper for which I worked hated the NRA with a passion and so no good could be associated with the organization.

I've never had FB. I resisted Twitter until they stopped allowing non-members to read public posts and threads (quite recently; I found this Substack because of reading Twitter). I have no Instagram etc. My non-smartphone is for emergency use only if there's a zombie attack while I'm doing my grocery shopping. I've never texted. My bank is a regional community bank. (And in my former home state I'd used a credit union for 20 years.) I use a local large thrift store for most of my purchases.
