Fortunately "traditionally masculine" men (at least the ones I know) are the least likely demographic to go quietly along with any sort of reeducation or extermination.

School bullying is a product of the authoritarian school system, which in turn is a product of disrespect for youth rights. Should we be surprised that the general population is so submissive to arbitrary authority after most of them were subjected to adult tyranny during the first two decades of life? Clint Eastwood's new movie "Cry Macho" is incredible. Without spoiling it too much I hope, I started to notice a surprising array of types of machismo at work in the film, which is now my favorite of his. It's on HBO max.
Now, when we are trying to figure out which model of traditional masculinity they are now officially pathologizing, should we be thinking Ralph Kramden, Ward Cleaver, Richie Cunningham or Arthur Fonzarelli? Han Solo was my role model when I was 9, and then, naturally Indiana Jones (from the first movie) was great. On the other hand, I also thought George Bailey was a admirable man, but he wasn't much like Han Solo or Indiana Jones at all. Maybe this should come with some suggested dos be like X and don't be Y like when trying to decide how one best can avoid traditional masculinity. (and yes, I know these characters are all white … isn't that implied in the concept itself?)
Getting ones head stuffed into toilets and having your underwear pulled over your head are all good things. My women friends also made me into a strong woman because they were relentless with being mean at times. I am grateful to them!
