In your analysis did you include the fact that test positivity was confounded with lower Ct for post-vaccination testing? As such, positivity rate. i.e., cases, would go down *regardless* of actual positive effects from vaccination. Or, I may have missed something!

Johns Hopkins has least vaccinated states as AL, AR, LA, MS, WY, so I will use that. What am seeing is that (CT, MA, ME, RI, VT) went down 54% last 2 weeks of May 2021, but also went down 38% same time in 2020. For (AL, AR, LA, MS, WY), they went down 12% last 2 weeks of May 2021, however during same period of 2020 they saw cases RISE 38%. Dr. Jha's analysis (even forgiving the wrong numbers) will end up being cherry-picked time range (like the Kansas masking "study").

Makes one wonder if this was another motivation to lower the PCR cycle threshold to 28 for the "fully vaccinated", yes?

We are missing some key pieces of data. How many of those with +PCRs were "fully vaccinated"? How many were detected with symptoms? How many were caught in routine screenings?

Jha is the worst. If you've never watched the Senate hearings on early treatment from last November, I recommend it. YouTube took them down (!!!), but you can still find them on C-Span. Senator Johnson might also have them on his webpage.

Actual medical doctors (McCullough, Kory) who've treated hundreds of actual Covid patients gave testimony on their treatment protocols for early Covid (to counter the CDC protocol of 'go home and come back if you can't breathe'). Jha was the counter witness.

Johnson went down the line and asked all the doctors if they've ever treated Covid patients. Every single one had treated hundreds of Covid patients.

Jha had to admit he had not...but he's still a talking head on cable.

nothing like a lil' doctered data to make virtuous lefties beg, snivel, and shriek for more lockdown.

Jha and his wingman Megan "OMG OMG" Ranney are an embarrassment to Brown, The State of RI, Public Health, you name it. Let's not forget that Jha and Ranney and Brown SPS grifted a "Pandemic Problem Solving" $2k+/seat online course for "policy makers and business leaders" a few months back. Meanwhile Jha was literally hiding under his bed, having admitted that after being vaxed he is still afraid to meet a vaxed friend at an outdoor cafe. Ranney continues to make school-girl like emotional outburst posts and appearances on local news that have generally been 180 degrees from the truth.
