Her sister didn't. My point was, your body has a lifespan, it ages. And it's actually your heart or brain ceasing to function that kill you, if you want to be really pedantic. The "cause" will be what led to that occurring. Before covid and the jabs nobody would have batted an eye at that description. And 96 is well into old age by most standards.

Yes, I do like to be pedantic. The heart or brain cease to function, but that's for a reason as well. A very young cardiologist once said to my mother (in my presence) that your 'heart has only so many beats in it' in order to get her to take a drug to slow her heart rate that made her feel poorly. I thought it was the lamest thing I'd ever heard and so did my mother as she didn't use the drug. The problem my mother had does adversely affect the heart and leads to heart failure eventually but not for the reason the young doctor gave.

I am of the opinion that we have been lead to falsely believe that our bodies have a limited lifespan. The world we live in might make it so, but that doesn't mean that that's how we are created. But that's another discussion for another time!
