My mom heart loved this & guffawed along as I scrolled down the meme/pix. Bad cats are the best.
<3 "I hate it when I'm waiting for Mom to cook dinner & then I remember I'm the mom." HAH
Bonus: When I was growing up, dinner was what we called lunch & our evening meal was "supper". Years later, when I would go home for a visit, Mom would ask me what I wanted to eat for dinner (at 11:00AM), I would startle & say, "But what about lunch?" Yep, in the South we ate our dinner for lunch.
😂🤣 two kids now 57 and 60, love them dearly, and this reminds me of the moments of the sweet times as well as the challenges. I am also reminded of realizing as they became adults, that being their mom did not end at 18 like we were raised to believe when I was growing up, it is for life. I would not trade the joy of both the times that it was challenging when they were growing up, and the times it was and continues to be a joy. 💛 our moms we would not be on this planet without her.
You wrapped up my entire experience of being a Mom in one post, accept you missed me being a pack horse for my kiddo. Great job! PS: I always removed the beaters from the mixer.
Granny and her ducks!
Best laugh I've had in weeks. Gracias por toro, EGM.
Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers!
Thanks 😊
Thanks for the memories!
I had the greatest mom. She gave me the beaters and the bowl to lick!
At my house, my kiddo got the bowl and the dogs got the beaters. They did a better job of cleaning them.
Just perfect and environmentally friendly !!
No need even to switch-on the dish-washer ...
Your thesis was about what exactly ??
🤔🤣🤔🤣🤔🤣
I am very eclectic. I’m hard to pigeon hole.
👍👍👍👍
There is no "best" one - but sleepover comes awfully close.
I sent that one to my oldest daughter. Boy oh boy she would love for me to come get her hhahhahahah
I sent that to my grown daughter for her Mother’s Day!
Happy Mother's Day to my fellow XX chromosome, human rearing , egm substack reading family!
( and to ALL who treat good moms as they deserve to be treated- my thanks)
So funny. I almost sent a similar message to my family. Some have a terrible sense of humor, I opted out.
My son lost his devious sense of humor not long before he decided he was a girl 😑
Oh! I don’t know if it’s OK to say that I am sorry. However I am, it isn’t easy any way you look at it. I feel like we are friends.
You think once you get past 21, you're golden. Then youe always suggestable child marries a SJW, and at 26 does the unthinkable.
I thank you Dr Linda, and we have been here striving together to understand and illuminate our age...so yes, friends and family if a sort.
Hugs
Actually, yes, my head has been used as a chair.
Mine by dogs...but yep
Dogs + kids find ways to use more than just a Dad's simultaneously.
Probably a suitable humbling lesson for all of us.
That's part of parenthood. It's also why I , now a grandma, know better than to lie down on the floor. 😆
So’s mine except I was the uncle.
wuh? mum wha poothed te tun awf da beetuthz futht?
Brilliant, all of them.
oh oh that are kinda dangerous ducks LOLOL. Something else than the supersweet memes of others!
