I've always said that the people who scare me most are not those who believe in masks, but the ones who suspect or even know the masks don't work, but who think it's important to "signal awareness that there's still a pandemic." What a cursed mindset.

And then there's the Go Along to Get Along gang - a group of people that would lead their own family members into the gas chamber if someone told them they 'had to'.

Yes, wearing masks out of courtesy or politeness, or because "they are expecting me to wear one."

I am totally not understanding the chin mask wearers at this point. Either put it on or take it off entirely -- what message is wearing it on the chin now supposed to be sending?

The under-the-chin mask is to prevent the drooling caused by the subject's mouth hanging open, as it would otherwise.
