The pardons may be overbroad without any crimes referenced - more like retroactive immunity. Charge them anyway and let the Supreme Court sort it out, let the process be the punishment.

For those Pardoned by Biden, Trump should sign an Executive Order cutting off all federal retirement payments for anyone who received a presidential pardon until the full nature of their crimes against America and the constitution are fully understood.

And then push congress to pass a law that terminates federal retirement payments for anyone found to have committed felonious acts while employed by the federal government as evidence by either a jury conviction, a presidential pardon for such acts, or a refusal to testify before congress asserting 5th amendment protections!

Not sure whether that would stand up to a legal challenge, but it would definitely hit them where they hurt, since the only things that matter to leftists are power and moneyтАжand itтАЩs worth a try!

Step #2 Investigate Fauci and everyone around him and release everything they actually did including the crap around AIDS

Step #3 Release his address and where you walks around.

To make it stand up to a legal challenge, direct that pardons be treated the same as convictions of felonies for acts in the commission of office, which also result in the loss of pensions. Pardons exempt those pardoned from criminal punishment, but not from the civil consequences of crimes.

Make Matt Gaetz special council in the new justice department and investigate them, then issue warrants based on phoney evidence, followed by arrests. They should be held in solitary confinement without trial or access to legal representation like the J6 prisoners. At the end of 4 years Trump can pardon Gaetz for any wrongdoing.

Agreed; AND nothing in the pardon power (federal crimes) that precludes using impeachment and convicting in Senate.

DonтАЩt know what an impeachment conviction would preclude but IтАЩm thinking retirement/health benefits, ill gotten gains, etc.

IтАЩm sure smarter folk than I can fill this in.

But there has to be accountability for treason, at least illegality.

Remember, impeachment is NOT criminal; but,

What if republicans and enough demonratz grew a pair or two and convicted Biden for crimes committed in and before these last four miserable years - could that give Congress the power to reach back in time to remedy wrongs, what about clawing back HIS/THEIR ill gotten gains тАФ do to them what theyтАЩve done/tried to do to POTUS Trump.

Good idea, but getting that through congress may be more than trump would be capable of. Thin majorities in congress and given his first term, I'm not optimistic. When contemplating General Eisenhower winning the Presidential election, Truman said, He'll sit here, and he'll say, Do this! Do that! And nothing will happen. Poor Ike it won't be a bit like the Army. He'll find it very frustrating.

"The President ... shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offenses against the United States, except in Cases of impeachment."

He can pardon offenses. Not people who ostensibly have not offended. In the US, you are innocent until proven guilty, so his pre-emptive pardons have no legal standing. I hope the Trump DOJ pursues these people, and when they try and assert that they've been pardon, it goes all the way up to the Supreme Court.

Agree 100%. The founders never intended a get out of jail free card for the president's buddies and family. Congress could however do investigations with subpoena power to get to the bottom of all the crimes and coverups. Just because you are pardoned doesn't mean there can't be investigations. Lie under subpoena and off to jail you go. And since it happened after the pardons, it isn't covered.

I REALLY (I and I mean

R E A L L Y!!) like this idea! IтАЩm trying (rather unsuccessfully I might add) not to get too caught up in this, as IтАЩm trying to avoid things or media that raise my already high blood pressure, but I agree! Hit тАШem in their pocketbooks! They have no conscious or respect for their fellow Earthlings, but they seem to fixate on greed. I vote YES on this idea! There simply JUST HAS to be a means for justice! This is an obscene carrying out of abuse. Gato is an astute kittyтАж Biden doesnтАЩt even know where he is half the time, MORESO to have the wherewithal to тАШpardonтАЩ anyone!

One thing, though, that I AM a least comforted with, is the knowledge that as atrocious as these events have been, many sleeping Americans have become aware of just how deep the corruption isтАж.with the whole world watching!!! yet? On the other wing of the bird, I know people who still think that if Kamala didnтАЩt win weтАЩre all going to hell in a hand basket, and are gung ho in stopping what they fear (thanks. MSM!) that Trump will do.

Either way? Things will NEVER be the same! (Thank Heavens!)

My sister and her son, my nephew are in the Kamala basket. They are loyal TDS-ers. It takes a real Sisyphean effort to talk to her about anything important. If they're at all representative of the sleeping Americans, they have not and will not become aware of the corruption.

I'm not sure what you mean by where's is she sitting? She's in Texas and I'm in New Mexico. Given our states' political preferences, I should be in Texas and she in New Mexico. Heavens knows I've lectured her enough. It doesn't end well. We're the only two left of our immediate family, so we change the subject when things get too heated.

Brookings Institute is arguing that judicial precedent is not to accept pardons that do not specify a crime. Not sure how strong their argument is, but probably worth pursuing.

This will definitely require a court challenge. The only question is how best to go about it. Who has been injured? Who has standing to sue?

How long will Biden and Fauci be alive to be ruined by a court case? Not long enough to suffer for the damage theyтАЩve done, but this precedent cannot stand.
