Oh please just STFU troll. I have no interest in chatting with any "friends" about getting the vaccine and as far as I'm concerned anyone who asks me if I'm vaccinated will continue to get the standard reply, none of your fucking business.

eventually, it's very possible everyone will have a choice: you can refrain from injections and basically live out the rest of your life on house arrest (locked out of flying, possibly shopping, probably could still travel domestically if hotels etc are in a vaxed person's name), or get injected and be able to do things that resemble the old 'normal'. I'm in GA. Life hasn't gotten miserable enough to push me to get the shots, but I expect it to get sufficiently miserable eventually. I don't think poorly of someone that gives in to the fascism. I'm very pro-choice on the issue, thus it stinks having the shots forced on me and having to live out the rest of my days fully grasping this slave status. If the shot gave me a heart attack and killed me quickly, I'm not sure I'd care. But the thought of long term damaged health is not very appealing at all.

I don't consider them "on my side" either, though. They won't be unemployed, homeless, and sent off to Camp COVID. Maybe they'll raise a fist of solidarity as the unvaccinated are dragged off. Stunning and brave.
Think of them as moving from Jew to righteous gentile status. There are some injected people that actually don't care about the injection status of those around them, etc.
Did the "righteous Gentiles" join their Jewish brothers and sisters in the lines for the trains even though they didn't have to? I go to the same school as the kitten so I may not have learned this stunning moment of brave and principled self-sacrifice from history.
These exchanges are a perfect example of why collectivists become dominant. They all submit to the narrative and march in lock step. We (individualists) all think independently and fight with each other. If we don't come together and coalesce behind a common objective, we're doomed. Let me help. Who is the enemy? Authoritarian collectivists. Who are we? Freedom loving individualists.
GA? Surprises me that either rural red or urban Black would be keen on Covid vaxx mandates. GA is one of the "redish pro-vaxx" states that I would peg as likely for revolt and state government overthrow.
Kemp has been ok, not as strongly anti-fascist as DeSantis. CDC is here, so you have areas around Atlanta that are psychotically pro-cdc. Then when you get a tad further outside the city, there is more sanity and people are not so terrified at all. It seems like the only way to force everyone onto 'the trains' is if credit cards and financial transactions are tied into the vax. Airlines will probably require it, but many people don't fly. Cruises will probably require it, but that's a luxury and most don't cruise. So GA hasn't been as good as FL, but overall it's been better than some other states for sure.
Ok, so not so bad. If Kemp doesn't go for perpetual Pandemic Theatre (I meant to describe only the "government" as being pro-vaxx) than the gov may stay solvent. Other rural states like Louisiana, no. I've only passed through Atlanta to visit family, so I'll never quite understand how it cursed the world with both the CDC and CNN.
I guess Ted Turner 'gifted' us the latter. Not sure how/why cdc is here, whereas it seems like it would be in Langley. And because this bastion of fascist eugenics is here, its members live in all the 'progressive' areas, sit on school 'health and safety' committees. It's partnered with Emory, so between the two, they infest everything.
I will NOT go into any place that requires proof of vaccine. My hubby and I frequently mountain bike on an Army post. We used to use the gym showers after our rides. But now that they are demanding you show your card at the door, we choose to use the restroom sinks for our "bath" following our rides. Principles matter. I will not be flashing this stupid card for anything.
Really because I already sold an apartment in NY and and moved to Florida to get away from covid tyranny so I'm pretty fucking dedicated to doing what I need to do to including getting a job somewhere else or planning a vacation to a place that's sensible.

Until they ask before giving you a job or letting you travel or enter a place of business. I suspect your principled stand will stop at the door.

a few died for their deeds. But I guess we disagree, I don't think that stopping short of committing suicide makes them bad people.
It doesn't make them bad people.
It doesn't make them good people, either. Or brave, or part of the solution.
It makes them collaborators. The whole "go along to get along" thing in the article we supposedly all just read.

I stand corrected.
Crazy thought here for your teeny tiny brain, but is it possible for one to get the shot AND still take a stand against authoritarian BS covid policy.
You didn't want to get the shot.
Your wife yelled at you and you got the shot.
What happens when the authoritarians yell at you?
Thought so.
