Hello Gato, you seem like the perfect cat to write up a brief list along the lines of...

If a 21-year-old has a 1/1,000,000 chance of dying from covid if he is infected and receives effective early treatments,

and if a 71-year-old has a 1/100 chance of being infected by an infected yet asymptomatic 21-year-old who comes to live with her and sleep in the same bed and eat at the same table and use the same bathroom and sit on the same couch to watch TV,

and if the 71-year-old has a 1/1,000,000 chance of being infected by an infected yet asymptomatic 21-year-old who walks past her in the grocery store or chats with her on the sidewalk,

and if the 71-year-old is vaccinated with the most effective vaccine we can produce,

and if the 71-year-old can receive the same effective early treatments as the 21-year-old in case she gets covid anyways,

then no, the 21-year-old should not have to get vaccinated.

We never tried to get to zero flu. Why are we trying to get to zero covid? Which is a really bizarre proxy for zero deaths-of-71-year-olds.
