I am gay and have noticed a surprising number of comments about gays being child-molesters, etc. Those comments confirm my belief that left wing radicalism (ie all left wing thought) is a serious threat to you, me and any other group of people who is popularly believed to support the current Regime. Just as Obama set back race relations a century, Biden has undone decades of progress overcoming homophobia and antisemitism. I don't think this was unintentional The more outrageous their policies, the more polarized we become, and the more authoritarian they say they must be.
You might be on to something. I think the whole trans movement -- not trans people themselves but the insistence on "trans inclusive language" -- is dragging the LBG movement down. People like me are all for gay rights but balk at locutions like "pregnant people" etc. Insistence on these kind of gender neutral phrases and odd pronouns etc has led people to have a negative feeling about the rainbow flag. It's too bad.
Ivy educated, when it meant that net worth, pedigree and legacy status mattered far more than any other qualifications.
