I'm in Canada and the percentage seems to be increasing over the last month but is still under 20% (as you know we are also highly vaxxed and our evil politicians are STILL blaming and targeting the unvaxxed!). In the summer of 2020, COVID-19 hospitalisations were falling exponentially. There were no lockdowns and little social distancing or masks, to the best of my knowledge (I am in Australia). This was before the COVID-19 quasi-vaccines. If nothing had changed, the disease would have faded away. Of course, average 25-hydroxyvitamin levels dropped below average by November and remained low until May or so 2021. This would have caused a resurgence in disease severity, and so average amounts of viruses shed per infected person. This would have increased transmission and the number of people infected, seriously harmed and killed.
The nadir in English, Scottish and Northern Irish hospitalisations (Wales' numbers are unconfirmed) was 22 August 2020: 34 people were admitted. 12 weeks later, on 16h November, 1700 were admitted.
This would have been partly due to 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels falling from August, but it is reasonable to assume that it was also due to B.1.1.7 Alpha, which went from 4% of cases in England in early November to 82% in early January 2021. (Fig 7 https://covidreference.com/variants .)
A similar, extreme, decline in hospital admissions occurred in the summer of 2021, again primarily due to higher than average 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels (though the summer peak for Whites is still only half of the 50 ng/mL 125 nmol/L everyone needs for proper immune system function.) This Delta rise occurred in the face of rapidly rising 25(OH)D levels and increasing levels of quasi-vaccination, which would have had some effect in reducing admissions.
"Omicron" went from 0% in the 3rd week of November 2021 to 95% a month later - surely the sharpest displacement of prior variants in the history of any disease. "Omicron BA.2" displaced this between late January and March.
Now we can see the significance of a rise in UK hospitalisations in May. This is occurring in the face of rising 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels, so one or more factors are driving it hard. While quasi-vaccine efficiency is surely falling, this would not be such a sharp process, since initial injections and boosters are scattered over months.
The only likely cause I can imagine is the new BA.4 and BA.5 variants, one or both, which are causing more severe disease and so raising hospitalisation numbers.
The real test would be to analyse to what degree those hospitalised (and who suffer lasting harm or who are killed, in the currently criminal lack of 25-hydroxyvitamin D repletion and other early treatments) have been vaccinated, boosted etc. their ages, co-morbidities and infection history.
A friend, has recently contracted covid. He was in the Novovax trial, and told he had rec’d the vaxx. Because he wanted to travel, and because he could not obtain a covid pass because Novovax had not been approved, he went to his gp who suggested he take another covid vaxx. So our friend took two more injections, not sure if it was AZ or mRNA? This past weekend, he tested positive for covid. Will wait to hear how he gets on.

I've proposed random sampling for testing similar to how political polling is done. Cheap (reasonably at least), easy solution. If someone dies in the sample during a set period of time, it triggers an automatic autopsy.

Another unvaxed colleague also tested positive last week, mild, was fine after 3 days. I think the death we are seeing is because they started shot 4 (2nd booster) on the elderly 3 weeks ago. And yesterday health authorities announced another booster (3rd) for the elderly starting in September together with the flu shoot 😔

I spoke to USAID officials in DC, their number 1 priority is shipping as many vaccines as possible to Africa to get vaccination rates up to ‘Western’ levels, because ‘equity’. They will piggyback on PEPFAR (HIV test and treat infrastructure) to roll out billions of vaccines. "Omicron" went from 0% in the 3rd week of November 2021 to 95% a month later - surely the sharpest displacement of prior variants in the history of any disease. "Omicron BA.2" displaced this between late January and March.
Now we can see the significance of a rise in UK hospitalisations in May. This is occurring in the face of rising 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels, so one or more factors are driving it hard. While quasi-vaccine efficiency is surely falling, this would not be such a sharp process, since initial injections and boosters are scattered over months.
The only likely cause I can imagine is the new BA.4 and BA.5 variants, one or both, which are causing more severe disease and so raising hospitalisation numbers.
The real test would be to analyse to what degree those hospitalised (and who suffer lasting harm or who are killed, in the currently criminal lack of 25-hydroxyvitamin D repletion and other early treatments) have been vaccinated, boosted etc. their ages, co-morbidities and infection history.
A friend, has recently contracted covid. He was in the Novovax trial, and told he had rec’d the vaxx. Because he wanted to travel, and because he could not obtain a covid pass because Novovax had not been approved, he went to his gp who suggested he take another covid vaxx. So our friend took two more injections, not sure if it was AZ or mRNA? This past weekend, he tested positive for covid. Will wait to hear how he gets on.

I asked a few injected people if they ask for ID etc when you get the poison - yes - they have to enter it with your health ID and they have a record of when you had your last shot...

My cousin (In the US) was in the AZ trial. He is over fifty. Has had two boosters. Also, go the original series for pfizer to be considered 'fully vaccinated' in the military. So he has had six shots overall. I know, I had to make my dad say it three times when he told me my cousin had had six shots. Anyway, he covid last month. Probably BA2 or 2.1 given geography. Six shots!

Yeah, I'm not jabbed. I didn't even get covid when my husband had it, though he is vaccinated. No one in our all-vaccinated friend group could believe it. They all thought--100%--that my unvaccinated flesh was going succumb and covid die, or at least long-covidify, and then they could all shake their heads and talk about how I should have been vaccinated. This was Omicron. I am 42, practically live outside, and work out 5 times a week for a benchmark on how out of touch these people are.

I'm doing fine. Thanks for asking. 52, unvaxed, never tested for Covid. Was sick for 2 days after christmas, mild, no testing. A lot of vaxed work colleagues infected recently, but nothing serious. Another unvaxed colleague also tested positive last week, mild, was fine after 3 days. I think the death we are seeing is because they started shot 4 (2nd booster) on the elderly 3 weeks ago. And yesterday health authorities announced another booster (3rd) for the elderly starting in September together with the flu shoot 😔

It is the craziest thing I've ever seen.. In September my 79 yr old mom got a flu shot, shingle shot & covid booster shot all in the same week. She ran a mild fever & couldn't get out of bed for a couple days. When she was able to get up, she actually said: " Oh it means my immune system is working. Just imagine how bad it would've been if I got covid 😳 " My mom used to be one of the most level-headed, smart people I know but the media and our govt agencies absolutely brainwashed the good sense right out of her and my dad. The whole family. My daughter and I are the only ones unjabbed in my immediate family. They all went a few weeks ago for the 4th shot (2nd booster).

I've discussed with a few doctors from Germany (all are immigrants from my country) regarding vaccine uptake among them and the impression is that about 70-80% of medical staff is not vaccinated even if the official figures say otherwise. ;)

I am currently in Africa working for an NGO. The promotion of the vaccine continues unabated here, for children 12 and up. I spoke to USAID officials in DC, their number 1 priority is shipping as many vaccines as possible to Africa to get vaccination rates up to ‘Western’ levels, because ‘equity’. They will piggyback on PEPFAR (HIV test and treat infrastructure) to roll out billions of vaccines. So all those excess Phizer vaccines, designed against a variant from 2.5 years ago, will be injected into children in Africa. Madness without end.
I have no idea if this is valid, but I grew up in South Africa (25 years ago now), and there was a known Portuguese community at least in Johannesburg. I wonder if there is frequent travel between the 2 locations hence explaining some of the spread.
It woul be very interesting to see deaths from (with, due to, whatever term you prefer) Covid presented as sociographical data. Income/deaths, educational background, that kind of stuff. And then overlay it with deaths due to mRNA-injections, divvied up the same way.
Because I have a sneaking suspicion I just can't shake, that (mainly US and EU) politicians and business leaders will have statistically significant divergent numbers from the main and average, divergent in such a way that very few of them have actually died, despite often being of age and with possible comorbidities.
