I created a recipe of coquito that substitutes tequila for half the rum. Same total alcohol, but half is rum and half is tequila.

I call it "coquila" and some of my Cuban in-laws, in a blind taste test, preferred it. (My coquila is a little thicker than my coquito, which some people like and some don't.)

Every year I make a batch of coquila and coquito, because they're preferred roughly 50/50.

[Recipe available to anyone upon request]

One problem... I live in SA, we only have a 35% vaccination rate and uptake is slow (they started rolling out boosters to healthcare staff only who got J&J). We asked Pfizer and J&J to defer shipping by half a year, since we have so many dose in stock. There will be a comparison for increases heart attack risk, albeit a crude one.

Pfizer is really cross with SA for not being scared enough.

Expand full comment

You refusing to take drugs- with zero long term testing and which the drug corporations own study shows has more harms then benefits*- is the cause of the tyranny I am suffering!!

*In the Pfizer study the vaccine group had 185% higher severe adverse events and 225% more total adverse events (including Covid). Originally their data said the vaccine group had a non-statistically significant 7% higher death rate but the FDA quietly admitted that number was false and the data was 24% higher mortality rates for the vaccine group.

Expand full comment

What Pfizer study are you quoting? Please post link. I need to convince the world. Aargh. Just got censored by family and friends. I am no longer allowed to mention vaccines because my opinions contradict the mainstream narrative.

Expand full comment

Here is a piece from PANDA (https://www.pandata.org/understanding-relative-risk-reduction-and-absolute-risk-reduction-in-vaccine-trials/) that analyzes the Pfizer trial to which the poster refers. It also provides a link to the study results, I believe, should you want to review. Essentially, Pfizer ignored the adverse reactions, claiming they were unrelated to vaccination. Anyway, check out the article and let me know if you have further questions, as I can feed back to the authors directly.

Expand full comment

Finished reading the piece from PANDA. It is an excellent discussion of the differences between Relative Risk Reduction, Absolute Risk Reduction, and another issue the authors describe as whether it is worth it--i.e., what is risk of vaccines. The goal is to save lives and decrease severity of infection. If people die or become disabled at a high rate (of other infections) in the vaccinated group, have we really increased overall fitness? Definitely provides food for thought! The authors discussed the a 100% relative risk reduction--from .2% to .1%. I was tempted to provide this example from Russian propaganda cited many years earlier. The Russians and Americans raced their two fastest cars. The U.S. car won. The Russians reported (without revealing the number of cars in the race) that they came in second--while the U.S. came in next to last!

Expand full comment

Ha! Those cheeky Russians. One of the points that struck me when I read an earlier draft of the piece is just the point you mention! If people die or become disabled at a high rate in the vaccinated group, in fact at a rate *much* higher than the perceived protection provided by the vaccine, what the hell are we actually measuring in the trial?

Just started reading! What a great article. Will give more feedback after finishing it. Thanks for the link!

Though some people say we can expect boosters every six months, I really think we will get as many boosters as we are told to get in the end if we don't stop this NOW. We will get our "booster of the month" cards (vaccine passport). I wonder if we get the 10th one free? Oh, my bad. I forgot, they are already "free". I can't even make myself imagine how much trouble the human race is in if this continues. Has *anything* been speculated about? It may sound "sci-fi", but what if somehow one of these created "variants" gets into another species and something *really* bad comes out of that combo? I really don't like to go down the "theory" road, but the madness of these people makes me think about horrific scenarios I normally wouldn't entertain. Their arrogance is breathtaking. This is also happening with eye meds. Docs inject med in eyeball. Useless and expensive while a cheap drug that helps exists.

The perception of absurdity is a powerful state. I was in the grocery store the other day surrounded by throngs of mask wearers (children too). For a brief moment in the fruit isle I was struck by an overwhelming perception of the madness. I stopped, took an absurdly deep breath and smiled. Lungs filled with absurdity I completed my shop with gleeful abandon. It's not always like this, many days are quite disheartening but moments of pure absurdity should be relished whenever possible. Then I noticed one other fellow talking to staff and he didn't have one either. Nothing under the chin or dangling from an ear. Nope just plain human. I had to laugh because if they weren't going to say squat to me they sure weren't going to say anything to that dude. He was NFL lineman huge.

My covidiot sister in law got the Moderna shots back in April, I think it was. She had become a bit worried about the booster based on things we'd told her recently and just yesterday she said she had decided to not get it. Then the news hit the airways today about the scary new variant out of Africa, and I just got an email saying "Guess what I did today? I got the Moderna booster." An hour after the booster she has no problems so she's sure things will be just hunky dory fine. She sure gave up fast when Biden waved another covid fear her way. Sigh. Covid never posed a significant threat to me. But there has been a consistent propaganda campaign to persuade me that it does—that I should be terrified.

At this point the 14 injections till we are back to normal will be reached by some time in 2024.

This is irresponsible of Moderna and frankly, I am disappointed in them for encouraging hesitancy regarding the (safe and effective) vaccine that is currently in use (and is safe and effective).

We are still at the point in the official narrative where we encourage everyone to get the booster that is out now, because it is our best weapon against all known variants and we are confident it will (probably) be protective against this new one, too. And obviously, the MOST important thing is for the unvaccinated to get their two shots right away (which, again, equal protection, definitely, probably, obviously) and for us to continue vaccinating the children with the current vaccine. Which is-- did we mention it-- safe and effective and the best protection we have against ALL known variants, dammit, Moderna!

AFTER we get as many people boosted as possible, after we get a tiny needle in every pediatric arm, after a quarter of the population or more has been exposed to omicron and developed some immunity to it already-- THAT'S when we bring out the booster's booster.

I suppose they are running trials. Where are they finding subjects? How uninformed would you have to be to volunteer?

I expect vaccines to be released for different wind directions. If the wind moves slightly to the south, there will be a new vaccine. Further still? Another. Light wind? Another. Gale force? Another. So many opportunity to 'vaccinate' for every eventuality.

You gotta have cajones to try increasing the dose for an existing clot shot. Moderna is banned for those under 30 in a number of countries already because of cardiac problems. If some is potentially deadly, more must certainly be better.

Of course, this opens the door to an obvious question. If Moderna thinks a different formulation may be necessary, why consider the existing booster? Why indeed consider the existing formulation at all?

You would think that with all the data showing the shot doesn't prevent infection in either direction, is causing numerous serious adverse side effects, probably drives the emergence of mutations, increases all cause mortality, and basically just plain doesn't work, that the drug companies would just alter the formula to basically saline. That way, they avoid all the bad publicity, and can continue claiming the shot is a miracle. After all, they haven't let facts color the claims of efficacy so far.

What bad publicity? Most people have no idea there are adverse events, and if you tell them there are, they gaslight.

Could they be worried about ADE to some of the vaxxed from this variant? Is that why the hype?

Is anybody keeping track of the Spike Protein load being injected into people? I would guess that by shot 4 they have pumped more spike through their system than they would have gotten if they got COVID.

They have more already with the 2 of them..

Even one shot makes your body create way, way more than if you got Covid.

Chris Martenson showed a graph where there was an attempt at graphing AE event rate vs mRNA injected (by weight). It was linear. So if they double the dose, we should expect roughly double to die.

Yeah. This circus is not going to end. It needs to be challenged and unveiled, and there seems to be some momentum in that regard at this very point in time.

Apparently the news is from last Friday, which is off course hilarious since they only squeezed it in the news last Wednesday. I’m beginning to keep a scant record here as I sense this is the next act. Any thoughts are welcome.

When I read the Moderna Villain Origin Story [Were Some Folks A Little Too Prepared?] by Gato, https://boriquagato.substack.com/p/were-some-folks-a-little-too-prepared , I was not surprised that they did NOT have the reload capacity to quickly alter course from 2019 OG Wuhan sequence and render a new biological sequence when something as frustrating as Delta arose. (Glad they didn't tbh.) Now, with Omicron and an all-out media blitz to make this mutant out to be worse than smallpox....when all indications are that it is going to be a giant nothingburger....they suddenly have the means to make the first variant vaxx. Hmmmm. If a company has the means to make giant synthetic multi-kilobase (4.2 kb) vaxx, couldn't they also have the ability to simply synthesize a fresh new 29 kb? Know what I mean? Maybe they do it in Botswana or Ghana, not a lot of prying eyes there. See where I am going here asking simple questions? The media and worldwide government was poised to jump on this extremely fast. I mean we have had variants galore, no big deal, but this one is both being ballyhooed extremely and being ballyhooed in the face of exceptionally thin evidence as to the nastiness claims. Perhaps they see this as the last hurrah. Perhaps they know they can only cry wolf this last time. (May it please Allah.) This Omicron has a definite non-zero chance of being some Bond-villain stuff.

As if the current crop of "vaccines" wouldn't be bad enough already.

Check out the most recent data from Germany:

"Breakthrough infections in Germany (weeks 43-46) among 18-59yo were 48.8% and 71.4% among seniors (60+); likewise, hospitalisations, ICU admissions, and deaths among seniors stood at c.50%"
