Rand Paul found out yesterday that most congressmen prioritize foreign entanglements over the Constitution: "Shockingly, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee just rejected my attempt to reaffirm the Constitution. All my amendment said was NATO obligations don’t supersede the constitutional requirement that Congress declare war. How is this controversial?"

I am bemused daily at how Rand Paul managed to become my hero.

The Senate is a Debating and Voting forum. What exactly Do You Expect?

I suspect you want him to do what you are unwilling to do. I am sick and tired of this "someone should do something about somebody".

Listening is fine, but what about Speaking Out in person, face to face with others?

It is never too late to bolster the ranks with more troops. Because, in my humble opinion this does not get settled without troopers. I do hope you are ready and prepared for that. Nothing personal, I have defered to "others" as well, but Others aren't going to do Our job for us. This link helped me to come to grips with the brutality of reality. All the best.

I didn't get too many likes yesterday for this one.

I'm not sure why?

I would like to add to Monica's comment, which is 100% true.

I also think it must be said out loud.

You must hear from your own mouth to believe it and to have conviction that your actions WILL make a DIFFERENCE!

Let everyone you know:

That me and mine do not accept this nonsense in our lives.

Twofold:

1. The meaning is clear to those who hear it. If not they are lost and represent opportunity cost.

2. IT KEEPS YOU YOU ACCOUNTABLE

Hence the increasing efforts by the MSM and government forces to stifle any dissent. I'm sure Garland was salivating with glee when he watched what Trudeau did to the truckers and anyone who dared to support them.

at this point he can really only be thought of as controlled opposition, until such time he backs up his words with stronger actions. it’s easy to be the person pretending to be on the side of the people when you know the amendments you suggest will not pass. we see this time and time again in both houses of congress.

how many times has a republican or democrat “bucked” their party when they know the votes to pass are already sealed, or vice versa!

That's the right question. Anyone have any ideas? I don't know. He's had Fauci lying before Congress, the FDA has given the go ahead for dangerous drugs to be pumped into kids. He has 49 GOP colleagues. Let's assume 20% of them are pro-America.

Eleven senators can do more than one can. So why haven't they (and I'm sure they could get more than 20%) joined forces and as a group [done something].

Yes, I know, "do something" is lame. But I'm not in politics, they ARE. They've been there a while, surely they know of tactics that I can't even conceive.

So why are they seemingly unengaged, uninterested, doing nothing proactive to bring these things to the American people?

That goes for wu-flu jab & mask mandates/lockdowns/ passports, supporting Ukraine, green new deal, tranny philosophy, BLM, all of it. They all have in common the desecration of our God given rights to freedom & bodily autonomy, in addition to crushing subjugation to the State

Doesn’t mean I sanction Purim’s actions but one can understand the threat Russia could feel w/ much of its border NATO-ized. Read Putin's speech given just before the Ukraine war started. Too many Americans are ignorant of the history since the dissolution of the USSR. This war did not start on Feb 24, 2022. You do not have to be a Putin fanboy to realize the difference between apologia--and reasons. The USA certainly did not appreciate the USSR basing nuclear missiles in Cuba in 1962. Most Americans also do not realize that Ukraine has been part of either the Russian Empire or the USSR from 1745 to 1992. There is not a single contemporary American politician or leader of any kind that could make a speech as cogent as this:

This might sound crazy but this is the place I find myself in over the last two years- I’m noticing a lot of movies/pop culture in general seem to have been predicting what is occurring, to the point where it’s not unreasonable to suggest they are programming people to become accustomed to their agenda for us. Hunger games and squid game- pitting people against each other- not recognising our humanity- even the final marvel movies where fifty percent of the population just disappeared into thin air reminds me of the excess death rate as a result of the injection. I have tried but there is just no way to justify the way governments globally are enforcing the injection on even babies now. This has descended into evil IMO

Expand full comment

I know what you mean. I also think “ this is crazy but…” There is something big brewing, and I feel it. Popular tv/movies have either picked up consciously or subconsciously on it. Or they are broadcasting what’s to come. I had a terrifying thought today about the injections. You know how doctors aren’t allowed to say anything against the shot? Well imagine how scared they must be if they realize what’s going on. Not even from the government taking away their license- but from the patients they injected or encouraged to take the shot. Imagine if people become aware that their doctor lied and they were injured. These doctors will fear for their lives.

Expand full comment

That’s right… I never thought of that. It’s hard to believe there haven’t been at least a few acts of revenge violence already. I know if one of my children had have been hurt by a vaccine, I wouldn’t be going along quietly…

There was an episode of Futurama where the robot Bender (a bending robot, built to bend girders) tried to enter a bending competition against other (male) bending robots, and he lost, badly. He noticed that the female bending robots had much smaller pieces of metal to bend, so he decided to compete as a female robot so he could win. He had his body hammered into a female form and had his male oil changed for femmzoil, the equivalent of female hormones. He won in the Robolympics bending competition, and accumulated many gold medals, as "Coilette," the fembot from the nonexistent country (or planet) of Robonia.

His friends considered this despicable, as he was stealing the rightful victories of actual fembots, but he liked winning. Of course, in the non-serial cartoon norm, he was back to himself by the end of the episode.

It is a cartoon, and cartoons have certain leeway with regard to reality that other shows don't. The suspension of disbelief runs deeper in cartoons... yet we see it happening in actual life now, and there's no "have to return to status quo by the end of the episode" to save us here.

Even though government indoctrination centers… errr… “schools” have dumbed down the populace to not understand basic science or history (much less the Constitution), people can at least see with their eyes what’s going down. Sea levels not rising, snow every year, etc.

I sure hope this grift is exposed soon.

Expand full comment

There is something else as well. I actually had to have a conversation a few years ago with my college graduate stepson about the rights of trees and animals. And before you ask, yes, he was mildly indoctrinated. Thankfully, he's gotten out of that stage thanks to Joe Rogan, Russel Brand and Brett Weinstein.

That being said, I think the other thing that does have an impact is a lack of religion. You remember, "man has dominion over the earth?" A lot of people don't believe that, and instead, see man as a parasite on the planet.

If young people still learned about "religion" perhaps that attitude would change.

Sorry, but in good conscience I can't blame the rest of the planet for the stupid decisions that the politicians that I didn't elect decide to radically transform our nation into a third world sh*thole.

Russia and China are simply doing what they want, as is India. The West is under the delusion that the "planet is on fire" and we must do something to save it. Other parts of the world have a different opinion, which is their right.

Maybe it's more like the old tv series Jackass. Dumb people (the West) do dumb things (climate change , green energy, etc.) while others simply stand by and film/ watch (Russia, China, etc.) I don't think they're necessarily playing us, but instead are laughing while we do something really bad and stupid. And if it can benefit them, even better.
