it's time to change the account password

i was speaking to a long time gatopal™ brendan eich yesterday. he had quite a pithy comment i’d like to share with you:

“climate emergency is the root password to the constitution and the charter of rights.”

(he also had an admirable lack of capital letters in the text.)

this is, of course, exactly the plan. it’s a drummed up sense of fear and need that has people so worked up that they are literally falling all over themselves to DEMAND that their rights be taken away and that they be allowed to persecute and vilify their neighbors who fail to likewise accede.

they are cheering for this despite how hilariously pointless and harmful it is.

this is, of course, the goal.

put a man in chains and you suppress him for a day.

teach him to make his own, and you dominate him for life.

remind you of anything?

this is WHY making this so relentless and compulsory in youth education cum indoctrination has become such a societal centerpiece for this movement. they want this power and to feel secure upon such lofty perches they need you to want them to have it.

best, it, like covid, visibly pits group against group. this serves one primary purpose:

it’s always “divide and conquer.”

it’s always “let’s you and him fight.”

and so you take your eye off the real ball and lose the sense of who is really doing what to whom.

this is not about left or right. it’s not about green vs growth.

it’s about creating illusory dichotomies so that the populace may be induced to fight one another and ignore the tyrant’s yoke.

and guess what gang? mostly, it’s been working.

many have forgotten that the real fight is liberty vs authoritarianism.

but los pollos, they are coming home to roost and it’s going to bring this back to the fore.

you can only deny physics and biology and basic human liberty to inhabit talking point hallucinations for so long and before reality crashes your make believe tea party.

and this is happening and faith in big government’s big plans is falling apart at speed.

imagine the staggering absence of clue required to only now be waking up to this and realizing how much trouble you’re in?

imagine not seeing this coming.

it’s decades of grift serving “telling it like it ain’t” all coming to a head.

um, duh…

and love him or hate him or call him the uber oligarch, but the other side is not suffering from such delusions.

they are clear eyed and in control.

sorry, but those are the facts on the ground.

the west has become a daycare playgroup of illusion-addled fantasycrats.

and they are walking into woodchippers.

nobody else is playing. they are doing the opposite of what we are. because what we are doing is stupid.

and our power grids are falling from 1st world to 3rd world to “survive at the sufferance others.”

and russia and china playing the west like a $3 banjo.

every move we make to become less energy secure makes us poorer and less free.

we become dependent on autocrats and 12th century feudalists.

these are not sanctions, they’re fertilizer.

and the game is being lost.

and the muppets who made this mess want to double down again.

and it’s time we remembered some things.

this is not their right nor a good idea.

it’s disaster on the wing being sold as savior.

and most important: they have no just or even legal right to do it.

they’re going to break the law, buck the SCOTUS, and push this through by executive fiat as they hope to get the damage so entrenched by the time the courts can react that it cannot be undone. the cronies need feeding.

they are going outlaw in a massive coup of special interests and antagonistic agenda.

they are abandoning both rights and democracy and repudiating the idea of a constitutional republic.

it’s becoming criminal and “grand theft nation” is a very serious matter.

the government has, quite literally, become ungoverned.

and it’s time we returned the favor.

and now is the time because this grift is on VERY thin ice.

the costs of it are becoming clear and no one wants to pay them.

that’s why these folks are going smash and grab.

they have no one with them.

and they know it.

the media may bang on about this endlessly and portray it as top of mind, but it’s rank manipulation and ranker BS. despite all their big talk, leaders can read a gallup poll just like you can. they know the people do not support this. it’s all pretense and bluster and it’ll be all the more clear come midterms.

they seek to be unaccountable and thus free us of any just need to be accountable to them.

just government is constituted to secure your liberty, not to take it in service of a alleged collective good that you have already repudiated.

and the damage they are inflicting has become so outlandishly clear as to be unmistakable to the many and so this is the time of realization and a time for action.

no facts, however stark, are going the change the minds of this self anointed vanguard to a collectivist future. they are more than happy to force this on you. they think it’s for your own good. (and the sure as shootin’ know it serves their will to power)

performative claims of stolen childhood are just pretexts to steal your world.

even if these folks cannot break free of their hallucinations, the rest of us can.

data won’t affect them. it’s time for constitutional assertion and we may finally have a court that with stand with us rather than dream up new ways to torture and abuse the commerce clause.

this is a very small minority that is preying upon the majority.

and we need not tolerate it.

we just need to wake up and smell what’s being shoveled.

we just need to return to the reality they so vehemently deny.

we already know the way.

we just need to remember.
