They are not going to own this. They willed get fined and the company will pay a few billion to make it go away. Like they did with vioxx. No one will go to jail and no one will lose his or her own personal funds. In the end, the people who made this happen will be better off than they were before. No deterrent against a next time. Except that maybe this time people will remember

i think it's going to come down to how big a stink can be made and how publicly.

the real goal is to get over the line into showing fraud and open them up to the civil actions they so richly deserve.

fraud is a sort of universal contract solvent and will eliminate the EUA liability shields. it may even pierce the corporate veil and allow people to go after management. and that would be both highly useful and a strong deterrent for aspiring future malefactors.

Expand full comment

As long as the execs suffer consequences (meaning they are held personally liable without having their fines and/or civil suits paid by the corporation or by their insurance companies), it will be a deterrent. But clearly what happened with vioxx wasn’t a deterrent.

Maybe if actual fraud is proven, they can send some of these guys to jail. Even if the ones running the studies go to jail, maybe next time people will refuse to run these awful, fraudulent studies. Start taking away credentials, too. If fraud is shown, maybe they can revoke licenses. That might be a deterrent to next time

I've been on beta blockers since I was a teenager because of Vioxx. It's the chief reason I was so skeptical of the vax when the rollout happened. I got permanently screwed by these clowns once, never again.

I'd say the key would be Israel. Netanyahu is stronger than ever and with increased ultra-Orthodox support, and this despite a vax increasingly being shown to be harmful to fertility at the least.

If he doesn't fall/turn on Pfizer because of revulsion from an extremely important and cohesive political bloc, then I'd think there won't be enough pressure anywhere from less organized populations in all other countries.

Zelenko was right about Nutty. He's a Mengele.

And yet the people of Israel just re-elected him. 90% of the Israelis took the first 2 shots, 80% the third and 50% the fourth. For a group holding pretenses of being "the master race" I can only laugh and say "That's not very masterful". They appear to be pretty much the same as all other groups of humans.

Funniest thing is 10% of Israelis have more in common with 25% of Austrians than they do with the vast majority of their own countrymen and vice versa. Those who can question authority to the point of saying "NO" to it are rare in humanity.

Menachen Begin did and so do tons of others. Hubris is terminal. It is so appealing because you don't need to be world class in sports, academics, music or art. Just by luck of birth you are better. Total BS but full marks for marketing angle.

It's amazing how long that philosophy has been around and failing every time but yet more people line up for it. Go back through history and look for groups that thought that simply by being born into a group they are better than others and their lives are worth more. They ALL get decimated. 100% failure and yet humans keep trying it. "This time it's different", "We're smarter" etc.

Claiming to be the "master" subset of humanity is pretty pathetic IMHO. That's not a high bar LOL. If anyone ever needs more proof that humans are all the same after these last 2+ years they are below stupid. It's staring them in the face. The vast majority of every group on the planet fell for it.

Now they pay the price as Israel's all cause mortality is not looking good and in fact getting worse. Considering almost 100% of the shots were the mRNA ones in Israel and 80% took the third they're in a world of trouble.

Ironically, the Hebrews (Old Testament) spent part of their history as slaves, not masters. Yet they are God's chosen race. But they are also a people of exceptional talents. The OT story of Jacob working his way up from slave to 2nd in command of Egypt sometimes comes true, in the sense that Jews disproportionately are found in the arts, sciences, academia, government, busienss and so on. This is not without its problems, as the legend of Samson and Elilah show. Life sometimes immitates art.

I view most people as having lost their survival instincts. Those who held out and refused to take the shots are from every race, religion, culture, education, intelligence, etc. We are a minority in our own groups with only one thing in common. Interesting point about survival instincts. Maybe so. Our modern culture is burdened by a lot of toxic disdain for human life, for itself, and for each other. Criminal “fines” are just stealing from the shareholders. Corporate officers who performed criminal acts need criminal punishment, including capital punishment where warranted.

True. But fines allow politicians to say they punished those responsible. Personal fortunes need to be taken away. And individuals need to be jailed. Otherwise it will repeat, just like it has repeated for the last several decades

Don’t be naive. These crooks are pros at hiding profits overseas. They will have no problem hiding their wealth overseas. Probably already doing it. I doubt a crooked corporate officer has ever been reduced to true penury.

Expand full comment

I’m not being naive. I’m being realistic. I am well aware that these people hide their money. That’s why they always come out ahead. However, there will be some powerful people harmed (or whose kids were harmed) by these corporate execs and by their enablers in government. We need those powerful people to go after (or actively help regulators find) where the personal money is. This is a losing path we are going to go down where the politicians grandstand and get “record fines” from the corporations.

Expand full comment

Fines don’t affect the crooked corporate officer in any way. It punishes the shareholders. That said, these companies are also liable for damages. Someone like Bourla needs to be put in solitary confinement never to see the light of day, or subjected to capital punishment if a jury so finds. These crooks always seem to come out ahead because we let them buy their way out of justice. How many millions (or billions) of people’s lives need to be destroyed or ruined before these crooks deserve hard-time criminal punishment? There are people currently serving years in jail for a minor drug offense.

Expand full comment

We are arguing the same point. No, fines against the company won’t do anything except punish shareholders that did nothing wrong. Fines against the company won’t deter future bad behavior. Fines against the company won’t punish those responsible for this. Yes, people need to go to jail forever. Yes, it needs to be hard time and not some cushy fed resort thing. But those people in jail also need their legacies and their whole fortunes taken away so they don’t pass the fruits of their evil to their family. If someone can leave their spouse and children a bazillion dollars, they will take the cushy fed resort prison time. In addition to locking those responsible away in a real prison, we need to take their personal fortunes (yes, realize it is highly unlikely to happen, but that fact is why there will always be a next time). So far as people being out away for minor drug crimes, we should let all of them out to make room for all those people who actually hurt others.

A mandated vaccine is a very different scenario than the Vioxx.

Expand full comment

Yes, the fact that the vaccine was mandated made this an extra category of evil. Vioxx hurt many people. Many people were given Vioxx without their knowledge. I worked with an anesthesiologist who would routinely give Vioxx to people under anesthesia (not to imply that is anywhere close to the same as mandating a vaccine, but to point out that innocents were hurt without any fault of their own). After the huge hullabaloo around the Vioxx, it was supposed to be a deterrent against anything like it happening again. What happened with the vaccines was much worse. So, doing the same things against Pfizer that were done to Merck when the Vioxx harms came to light, will not prevent another catastrophe.

Expand full comment

Right… I believe Pharma should actually be treated in a criminal sense, and truly the vaccine mandates should be treated similar. I was under the assumption some thing that was given EUA could not be mandated. You know that whole pesky Nuremberg thing! And immediately, when they saw that it was not stopping transmission the fact that mandates were continued, is just criminal in my mind! I actually sent a letter to the president of the university that our family has attended and told him that it was wrong that they were not standing up against these mandates, and he basically just acted like there was nothing he could do. I talked about the side effects and everything so in my mind these people knew what they were doing just wanted the money and allowed people to be harmed. There should be a lot of people taken to task for this. I don’t feel it should just be monetary lawsuits because all of this is just tax dollars being pushed around. So that would be basically like us suing ourselves.

If the all cause mortality remains extremely high with high profile deaths happening like right now, it will be much harder for them to hide.

Expand full comment

You do not and cannot know such a thing.

ie, Vioxx - 50k deaths, mostly men >50. Vioxx was never mandated. Difficult to prove mal-intent over incompetence. Most people didn't hear of Vioxx.

mRNA jabs - millions of deaths globally. Many <30 or 40. Clear evidence of fraud. Upheaval of global economy and mass destruction of lives. Everyone has heard of the jabs. A large minority believe they have had friends/ family dead from it.

The two situations have only superficial resemblance as coming from Big Pharma.

Perhaps the people/organizations we think are in control are not.

==========================

"they ran a slipshod process devoid of safety controls and rushed to market vaccines of dubious design using appalling trial structure. then they refused to do their jobs and track the safety signals."

-----------------------------------

I agree. This is what happened. The question is why. Surely, greed, hubris, incompetence, and CYA were factors in the 2009 H1N1 vaccine disaster as they were in the 1987 Swine Flu disaster. While it took far too long and too many people were hurt (or killed), the vaccines were pulled. The failures were acknowledged.

There are now 33,469 deaths following C19 jabs in the VAERS.

16,246 of those deaths occurred in the United States.

9,617 of those deaths occurred within 3 days of injection.

Why have the FDA and CDC failed so miserably?

Could it be they weren't really in control?

I am not making excuses for Pfizer or Moderna or the so-called public health authorities.

Burn it all down.

But do we really know who/what was running the show?

Do we really know why this time is so much worse than previous "health emergencies"?

Sasha Latypova and Katherine Watt assert that the DoD is running the show. The FDA and CDC are playing a role in the vaccine kabuki theater. This is the argument Pfizer's lawyers made in their motion to dismiss Brook Jackson's lawsuit.

All people responsible must be held accountable:

Pfizer, Moderna, J&J

The military.

So-called elected leaders.

Pharmacies.

Doctors, nurses, hospitals.

The past three years cannot be explained by greed, hubris, incompetence, CYA.

What was the power center behind this?

What was that power center's goal?

We cannot defeat what we do not understand.

Companies like Pfizer and Moderna need to be completely broken up. They exert way too much influence. And quite frankly charge obscene amounts for their products. Get medical treatment overseas sometime. You’ll be aghast to discover how expensive quality healthcare is in the USA versus overseas. You barely need medical insurance overseas. Medical care costs about as much as maintaining your car. True.

Expand full comment

The individual pays for maintaining their car, not the government. It makes a difference when people are responsible for their own bills instead of relying on insurance companies to set prices. Docs in us work (in the vast majority of cases) to make the insurances happy or to make their employers (the large corporate hospitals happy). Docs in the US don’t work for the patient in the vast majority of cases and so do not care if the patient is happy or if the patient totally gets screwed over

100% agreed! The markup on medical costs in the USA compared to privately owned hospitals overseas is absolutely staggering. I’ve spent a good part of my life overseas…am overseas now. I have plenty of first hand experience with just how much it costs. I had to come here to get what turned out to be a simple ailment fixed. My US doc should have been able to fix me up in a couple of weeks. I suspect many US docs are financially incentivized to extend time/cost for treatment, and if the patient dies while waiting, no big deal. They’ve killed and eaten the golden goose.

Expand full comment

I am in healthcare in the US. I work for myself because I was disgusted at what happens to medicine in this country. From an inside perspective, it’s not that the doc prolongs care to jack up prices. It’s that the doc works for the large corporation (hospital or insurance). They get paid the same no matter what happens to the patient. Frequently the patient has no other doc to see either because they are mandated to stay within their network or because there is so k uh of a shortage and a waitlist that they realistically can’t go somewhere else. So, there is zero incentive for the doc to do more work to make things happen faster. There is zero incentive for the doc to take the initiative and seek out better, cheaper, more effective care for their patient. The incentive for the doc is to do what makes the hospital/insurance happy and to do the minimal amount of work possible to get the patient out and get the next one. It is completely broken.

All true. I'm in my early 60s and generally good health. What opened my eyes last year was researching the routine treatments I'd been on, as many millions take, usually as we get old: baby aspirin, statin, and hypertension medication. If one reads "the literature," for primary prevention they are high-cost*, very low-value interventions. In plain English, they provide almost no benefit to the patient. But they DO keep doctors employed, also the health bureacracy that brags about how they're promoting public health, and they need their budget increased next year, and of course Pharma, who makes a mint, especially when the mandated drugs are still on patent.

In a nutshell: the medical system is completely captured. They really are profit first, patient care (or even common sense) a distant second. I will still use doctors, but when possible will do my homework and say "no" to worthless and expensive products.

*By "high cost" I refer not to the cost of possibly generic drugs for a single patient, which may be very reasonable, but the cost from a public health perspective. Several hundred patients may need to be treated per year to avoid or delay one bad event (e.g. heart attack, death). Although governments are not known for thrift, at some point such interventions become uneconomcial solely looking at the cost, never mind risk of side effects. How much is it worth to prevent one heart attack this year, or delay a death for a year in a target group? $20,000? $200,000?

AMEN to accountability, el gato. On New Year’s Day, I published the following poem to inaugurate 2023 as the Year of Accountability:

• “Mistakes Were NOT Made: An Anthem for Justice” (https://margaretannaalice.substack.com/p/mistakes-were-not-made-an-anthem)

Apparently people are thirsty for this message as it resonated more deeply than I ever imagined.

One commenter (https://merylnass.substack.com/p/who-should-fauci-be-more-afraid-of/comment/11579381) described it as “the definitive statement on the global genocide event now still underway” and “the Star Spangled Banner of the Covid resistance movement and anti-genocide movements in general. It should be read by all.”

On a coincidental note, I touched on the term “pureblood” in the updates section after the poem, and I tracked down your reflections on why it is problematic (https://margaretannaalice.substack.com/i/94122656/pure-blood-registry).

In that same thread, I noticed you had used the term “the worst medical blunder in human history,” which I had agreed with—and it was precisely that sort of exculpatory language I wrote the poem to call out. So I sent that poem back in time to both of us 😹

New Mexico 😊. I’ll “sponser” you 😂

Sweet! Utah it is.

Meanwhile anyone can come through or Southern border without proof of jab or negative test

Expand full comment

Yes, but they are expected to vote democrat so they get a pass.

I've heard it is possible to cross if you get to Bahama's first (or another place nearby, sorry I forgot). From there you take a ferry to Florida, where you don't get checked. Apparently the checks happen mainly if you fly in, but rarely or not at all if you come in via sea or roads.

This info could be outdated so ask around to confirm.

Florida is clamping down

Canada sees a lot coming over but the “coyotes” there are negligent so wait until fair weather

Expand full comment

Oh no why?? That’s bad news

Expand full comment

Yeah I need to find the right boots on the ground info. All of this would be easier if it wasn’t so bloody far and so expensive to travel with a family of four. It’s expensive enough to do a direct flight, but making it a multi leg mission is so not what I want to spend my time and money on! We either commit fraud, deal with the mission impossible as a family or the citizens will leave their dad to stay home and pay the vacation bills without going on vacation...

Is it not possible to enter through our unsecured borders?

Expand full comment

No, not for us. Thanks!

Expand full comment

I’m sorry. 😢

Expand full comment

I wish I had some useful tips, but sadly I don't :( It's ridiculous that the travel ban was ever implemented in the first place.

Expand full comment

Agree! The stupid thing is that at least there was an exemption for spouses of us citizens until Biden decided to harass families this way. Can’t even test which would be somewhat more logical... the whole thing is so anti human rights I can’t stand it.

Expand full comment

If you’re Chinese all you have to do is test. China has LGB-FJB by the short hairs with all of his corrupt family dealing there so….

Expand full comment

I think they have to be vaccinated AND test which a lot of people seem to be upset about. I mean it doesn’t really make a lot of sense. As dumb as the testing is, it really only made sense when everyone had to do it.

Expand full comment

The PCR tests were not designed for it and the number of cycles each went through was crazy wrong and varied all over the place. No useable data

Expand full comment

The “testing” is every bit as 🐂💩 as all the rest of it

Expand full comment

No I totally agree with you! But as soon as we knew the vax didn’t stop transmission, it needed to stop providing privileges, which it is still doing. If you want to pretend that the testing is effective, then you need to test everyone. The fact that they are not just makes the whole thing way less defensible.

We haven’t seen our children since 2019. And maybe not in 2023. So I understand you and you have my sympathy.

So sorry, that is awful. I wish this was a bigger issue for Americans, but since it doesn’t affect many of them, I’m afraid it’s not going to get the pushback it deserves.

Expand full comment

This is exactly the problem. If more people knew about it I’m sure they would be angry. But even some people in my family aren’t aware or don’t care even though it means we can’t travel together to visit. Thanks to media spin. It boils my blood. This is the type of case that needs a lawsuit but I wouldn’t know the first place to start since I live abroad....

Media IS the virus! Until people understand that nothing will change

I have said that for years. The media (most of it) is the real enemy and the real danger to the USA.

Thanks. Your situation sounds unacceptable!!

Come through the Southern Border.

Expand full comment

I may be wrong, but I seem to remember you can cross the land border unvaxxed? Will make your journey rather more inconvenient but if you're determined ... Personally I would do this if it were for something super important like seeing close family.

Expand full comment

Thank you. But we are too old to travel like that.

Expand full comment

It is not an option. You can do it when you haven’t got anything else and you are desperate and you want to leave your old life behind. But imagine sending your mother there. A decent hard working person. My mother has been a 3 years-old teacher all her live, she is 67, she takes care of her father (96) and has all her relatives in Spain (except me and my kids). When she came she helped me with the kids and the house for a month or so, brought little gifts and tons of love for the kids and went back to her obligations in Spain. She is not fluent in English. She gets nervous while traveling and arrives at he airport hours in advance not to miss a flight in case she makes mistakes going to a wrong gate or things like that. Imagine for a moment sending her to Mexico, tell her to look for coyotes or whatever are they called, pay them for being trafficked illegally into the border. Get rid of her passport? If she made it to the border alive and then caught by border patrol then what? You are in but you are a criminal, you can never again try to enter legally in the country. You end up being dead or a criminal or having a most horrible experience just because you wanted to visit family. It is not a good option. It is clearly a punishment for not doing what the government wants you to do.

Expand full comment

I meant just the normal legal land route! I've looked it up just now and the vax requirement only applies to entry by air. Fly into Mexico and then catch a bus. I was there recently and did not see any roaming coyotes - it was nice! :)

Expand full comment

Ohhh!!! Thanks for clarifying! Sorry, I automatically thought of the illegal way 😓. I am so used to feel as I criminal for not getting vaxxed that I can only think this way. Well, it’s certainly more inconvenient but it can really be an option then. I will looked at it. Last time I checked they were also required vaccines for entry by boat and by car but I just checked it now and you are right. It is only required for flights now. Thank you very much!!!!

Expand full comment

You're welcome, for what it's worth lol ... My family has done some travel while skirting the vax mandates - it's cost us quite a lot of extra money and time, which I resent but do not regret! There's no price on a healthy body.

....and nothing will happen. Im so black pilled right now. New explosive data and evidence every day but without the main stream media reporting it--nothing ever happens and the masses remain in the dark. Ive gotten my hopes up that the dam is going to break way too many times. Nothing happens to anyone connected to the democratic party.

Add Maria Bartiromo to the list. She was on with Moderna CEO Bancel this morning, fawning over the company’s “success”. It was nauseating.

Nobody is going to be found guilty of any of this. Who would be judging them? "Official" people - aka "the same people who allowed it all to happen".

Pfizer & Co will get fined. Albert and other CEOs/board directors will be pushed out on fine severance pay and pension packages. The politicians will act like it had nothing to do with them and they were merely trying to save lives (see British MP Matt Hancock). The people who made money fraudently have already disappeared. The low level medical flunkeys who goose-stepped around will continue to do so and people will just put up with it.

It would be good to think the public won't get fooled again but they will (unless they are all dead from the jab they took to save other peoples' lives).
