Absolutely yes. Then they can say "We tried! And it would have reduced inflation if the Republicans hadn't done X, Y, or Z because they want poor people to die". Or "Inflation would have been much worse" (same thing with Covid...many more would have died without restrictions yada yada).
Don't get me wrong, I can't stand any of the self-serving pieces of sh*t that make up our ruling class...er I mean government. But at least the "right" tends not to cloak their greed in righteousness as much.
Bingo. Here in CA, the former Prop 47, "Safe Neighborhoods & Schools" act decriminalized a few crimes, not just shoplifting. Co-written by Soros-bought Boudin (now recalled) and Harris - yes, THAT Harris. You can hear the whining now, can't you? "Republicans don't want safe streets!" and that's echoed now on the tweety by their sheet with a handy meme showing all the pork-laden bills that do the opposite.
I go on there, head-to-head, using as many left-leaning articles as possible to debunk these dummies. Almost all the time, it's bots.
