The child sacrifice is really a thing. So disturbing. Part of the entire cult. And how many times does 666 show up? Too many. Google Chrome logo is three sixes overlaid in a wheel. And on and on... I'm not even religious but this is getting blatantly biblical.
I'm still wary of joining the dots on logos and symbols, but I too feel something's happened in terms of ethical balance.
Perhaps having the majority of the population not attend sermons with a moral bent every Sunday leads to a long-term erosion of societal duties? This feels like the most unchecked, selfish decade I've witnessed.
A lot of folks seem to feel that we are on the cusp of a new awakening, renaissance, revival of interest in religion. People who are lonely, isolated, angry (as in mass formation psychosis) look for something... anything to cling to. Some find totalitarian 'saviors,' others find the real Thing. People have been turning away, in North America anyway, from religion for about 60 years now; these things always run in cycles. People I know who never had much time or thought for religion, are asking 'What's all this God stuff about, anyway?"
The answer is to witness to them. Explain how to accept Jesus into your life, and what that has meant to you and will mean to them. In times like this, I see many folks on this substack asking 'What can I do? I'm just a small cog in an immense machine?' Well, you can witness your faith to the uninitiated, and you can pray.
Prayer, each and every prayer, takes power away from Satan and delivers it to God. This is something each of us can do, every day, in ways small and large. Remember the old philosophical question about the butterfly in the forest? Well, each prayer, every moment spent in communion with God and Jesus, can be much more powerful than any butterfly's wings; yet see what the butterfly was able to accomplish. If ever the time was right, if ever the world needed it more, the time is right now. You can do this wherever you are, any time night or day.
It also helps take your mind off of the overwhelming sense of evil that has been manifest the past few years, and focus it on something positive. Prayer not only helps the one you are praying for, it helps you.
Yes. Tests and masks made in China. (No, I donтАЩt hate Chinese people). Our country has got to get back to manufacturing goods here, so that folks can have middle-class jobs. It CAN be done.
Don't hate Chinese either, but as you state, how can a country stand, if nothing is made there? It used to be that everything was made locally, less transport, less pollution, more local jobs, people have less commute... all win-win. I am sure the same goes for China.
What amazes me is that some people still listen to Enemy of All Mankind mass-murdering puppy-torturing quack doctor Anthony Fauci and *believe* what he says.
That is a crying shame. A poll last week proved that at least 94 % of the people who voted called him Mr Evil. But still a few percent found him trustworthy. These people should really be treated because they are sick, too

Can we/Will we course-correct without religion?

and buying tests and masks for everyone from taxpayer's money, while they could hand out meds that help
