Since this is a data-based blog, please back up your statement with some data that show older people are more likely to be adherents to what el gato describes than younger people. I doubt you can. In my community, it seems like college students are some of the most ardent followers.

And btw, Soros, Klaus Schwab, and Fauci are not baby boomers. They were born in 1930, 1938, and 1940, respectively.

I stand corrected on that

"Boomer" is such a shitty insult to throw around. Normally by college kids who have not realized the errors in their way of thinking in the real world.

Seems to me he referenced Klaus, Charles, and Soros because of their *age*. Wouldn't make sense to have wished for *college* students to unleash their mortal coils. And he didn't say "old people" generally, he specified those three for obvious reasons.

Calling out his use of "boomers" also misses the substance of his comment, IMO. It's like complaining that someone said "clip" instead of "magazine" because he isn't fully versed in the lingo.

The primary statement was "isnтАЩt it about time all these old boomers... unleash their mortal coils and begone already." The three names were contained in a parathentical, and the "all" certainly suggests he intended his statement to refer to more than three people.

I personally am pretty alarmed at the direction later generations (Millenials and after) are taking. I think if anything we will be in much worse shape when they are the main people in power.

Yes, more than just those three people, BUT, other people *like* them - old, tyrannical aholes. Not young'uns. But I also agree that the young'uns give great cause for alarm.

TheyтАЩre the ones who hold the power. IтАЩm hoping the brainwashed college kids will realize the errors of their thinking when they are placed in the real world.

Well yes, there certainly is a correlation between age and power, as it takes time to rise to the top. But every generation will get there eventually. Your statement seems to imply that there is something particularly damaging/evil about the generations currently in the 58+ bracket.

I don't see that at all. As mentioned, from what I can see, the signs point to the current younger generations (under 50 now) being even worse when they get to that level of power. In fact, some are already there - look at New Zealand with their Millenial Prime Minister! Or Gen Xer Gavin Newson.
