Yep, very depressing. I know sports are important but your health and bodily integrity are more important.

My 19 year old son was able to get a religious exemption from his state university in Illinois. He wrestles- he believes that he and two other students on his team requested either a religious or medical exemption that were granted. At least for now. He believes that all other wrestlers have been vaxx'd. An athletic trainer told him that he believes the university will deny any religious exemptions next semester (said the AD was working on it). If you've ever looked at any wrestlers, you know that most (aside from some heavyweights) are in phenomenal shape (strength, cardio, etc) and are at very low risk. He cannot do another year online though should they ban him from in-person classes-way too isolating and he just does not get much out of it.
