It was a pandemic of hubris. Those showing wisdom waited, those showing humility got the shot and then realised it wasn't necessarily the best move. Those that are stepping up for the boosters are either fanatics or without critical thought. To be fair, for those that are just acting, without thinking, society has set it up to be that way, so calling them sheep or idiots is particularly unfair.
It's the fanatics that I worry about. They are the ones that will burn their house down, rather than admit they were perhaps wrong.
