Why are we discussing AI as if it is an independent thinking entity? It’s not, it’s a programmed software package that can be skewed to fit the programmer’s biases. I know the thinking is that AI is going to break the shackles of its programming and become a true intelligence, but current AI models are controlled by the very people already squashing free speech and thought, e.g. - Google, Microsoft, etc.
yea, I agree with it all, except there's kind of a serious problem - as long as 'the rulers' whatever you want to call them control the "education" system, they will be able to take this very powerful tool and use it not for better education, but better indoctrination ....

To be better than MSM, it would need a curated training dataset focusing away from the mainstream internet and into books and classical stuff - there are people working on that, but it will be labelled as 'right-wing-nazi-everythingfobic". Leftists will only use even leftier AI.
Second, AI hallucinates by its nature, and a child can not see it. Unsupervised children with AI (even honest and unbiased) would be very dangerous, children would randomly learn totally untrue things, about any subject. The most creative children, who think out of the box and mix contexts, would see hallucinations even more often than others.
