I would take ten cat prime ministers over one diaper President any day

"Govern me harder, catgirl!" It has a much nicer ring than "Govern me hard, you narcoleptic old man in Depends!"

I suspect some bias in this article but I find it acceptable.

Expand full comment

Well, she apologized. And her bio reads just like the other WEF puppets put in place in anticipation of the plandemic.

Expand full comment

Yep. Had a hard time finding it, but she is on the WEF list. Just another puppet indeed.

Expand full comment

Of course she is. Look at her.

Expand full comment

Also age. We've suddenly moved from 50+ to 30s or 40s at the oldest.

Gore and Clinton - did they go to an earlier version?

Expand full comment

Lolita Express??

Expand full comment

Well we know that Clinton at least is caught up in that. But I mean YGL. Although of course maybe that's what you mean as well.

"but she is on the WEF list"...what's WEF?

Ahhhh...found it.

Expand full comment

I was loving this until I heard she apologized.

Expand full comment

Finnish Tulsi Gabbard. Those WEF leaders have a type, don't they?

Expand full comment

Took one look & immediately suspected WEF. Thank you for confirming.

Expand full comment

They ALL are. Except for the ones that reject the Great REset stuff. And some of them have been done away with (5 heads of state so far).

Expand full comment

I describe them as "Schwab Youth." We have one second in line. JT a bit too dull to compete in the real WEF grooming.

Expand full comment

I think they only need to be obedient.

Expand full comment

Yes to leaving the mask and phone at home. No to cutesy cat-style pictures. This chick is not an Internet feline, she’s a prime minister. Maybe my age (Gen X) is showing, but WTF?

Expand full comment

Maybe. I’m just barely Gen X and I think the more politicians embarrass themselves, the better. We should never have taken any of these people seriously in the first place. To succeed in politics, especially at a high level, you almost have to be a narcissistic and a sociopath. And even when they aren’t, they still have no business making rules for me or anyone else.

This is why 36-year-olds should not lead countries...not even Finland...which I hear is lovely but cold and dark for half the year.

Expand full comment
author

why, because the 70 year olds are doing better?

Expand full comment

No, because a 36-year-old woman who edits her selfies to look like a cat AND then posts them for public consumption is too silly to be leading a country. IMO.

Expand full comment

That behavior wouldn’t be inspiring in a 60-year-old, so it’s not the fact of her age, it’s the fact of her immaturity.

Expand full comment

And just btw, I'd rather not have any national "leader," young or old...I'd like to have someone who is simply an executive, making sure that the very limited, Constitutionally-mandated powers of the federal government are executed....and then leave us the hell alone.

Expand full comment

I didn't say that. Most 36-year-olds don't have enough wisdom and therefore experience to lead a country...not even Finland. And I agree with LP (below)...while I love cat ears as much as the next person, her behavior reveals her to be an unserious person.

In 1776 this was the age of the founding fathers of the United States and other revolutionary people of the time:

Marquis de Lafayette, 18

James Monroe, 18

Gilbert Stuart, 20

Aaron Burr, 20

Alexander Hamilton, 21

Betsy Ross, 24

James Madison, 25

Thomas Jefferson, 33

John Adams, 40

Paul Revere, 41

George Washington, 44

Samuel Adams, 53

Expand full comment

I'll concede that many of them were probably doing some form of clubbing...but how many of them were drawing cat ears and a tail on photos of themselves on Instagram? She may be lovely for you guys to look at, but she's not a serious person.

The people of the revolutionary era were far more mature than people of our time. Technology and entertainment have extended childhood and adolescence well into the 20s and even 30s. Most of us are weak and feckless and dependent.

I've said this before on this substack, but it bears repeating. My grandparents understood the connection between a chicken and dinner. My father bought chicken at the meat market. I buy boneless chicken shrink wrapped at a local specialty store. My young adult children think chicken comes from Uber. We are so far removed from the realities of existence, the fragility of existence. The modern world is an illusion. It could all disappear in a moment from a storm. A bad solar flare pointed in the wrong direction would send us back to 1850.

The founders lived with death and uncertainty every day. They weren't hanging out on their parents' couch binge watching Netflix and ordering food from Uber on their smart phone at age 25.

Well, I have good news, because catgirl ain't leading jack squat.

The U.S. Constitution allows a 35-year-old to be president. Wow, even by the standards of the 1780s, you're ageist.

Expand full comment

The US Constitution allows a 35-year-old to be president because most people of that era didn't live very long. ;) And I would wager the average 35-year-old of that era had more practical experience and wisdom that 35-year-olds of today.

Expand full comment

It's definitely true people matured earlier in the past. However, life expectancy was not severely different if you exclude infant mortality.

Wel, I'm not really a joyless old lady ur nuthin but I do rather feel that if Russia were my bad neighbor and had permanently parked itself in my garage, creating an image of myself as a bubbly airhead might not be the most geopolitically canny move. One lesson RFK, Jr. mentions in his various discussions or presentation is that his father told him that " . . . powerful people lie; they always lie." Is this any different? Isn't telling people to live by standards that the powerful are unwilling to live by a form of lying? "You must do this; I don't have to do the same thing." Examples of this hypocrisy are rife around the world. Trouble is, given these people have no sense of shame, it matters little that they get caught.

Expand full comment

Could it be that, consciously or subconsciously, they want to get 'caught'? That they are flaunting their hypocrisy as way of testing out the level of willingness to comply with nonsensical rules. If people do as they say rather than as they do, they will take it as a green light to create more nonsensical rules.

Not to quibble, but is this a normal 36 year old woman's life?

I guess the point of this post was to cheer freedom from tyranny, not freedom from the responsibilities of parenthood and the kind of jobs that make late-night carousing merely sound exhausting...so I'll leave my "I was a grandmother at 36" comments for another time.

Expand full comment

"the folks grousing about this need to get a life"

AMEN. I'm an old guy and I'd rather have a "leader" that leaves the masks and the tyranny behind and enjoys a night out any day than a bunch of maniacal despots forcing their magical "edicts" and "mandates" on everyone and threatening to nuke countries all while getting caught breaking their own "rules" at every turn. I even notice some Karens in the comments section. Haven't we had enough yet? What has "maturity" gotten America? What has "electing" the "most qualified" person for the "job" gotten us? Personally, I don't need or want a ruler over me, but if I was going to choose one, it would be someone that was a "normal" human being FIRST. I may cause some people to shudder when I say this, but wouldn't you rather see Bill Clinton (I know, I know, please don't be too hard on me) playing the sax on the Tonight Show than see what we have now with 3 masks on telling everyone that his patience is wearing thin and we all better get our shots or you won't work, eat, or participate in society? I'd trade what we have now for someone human in a heartbeat.

Anyone know a forum, a venue, where we can ask questions about this covid thing?

Like we have a govt flyer in Aus that purports to be putting out 4 'facts' and I think they're not facts and I'd like to publish refutations.

But I need to be right.

So any help would be good.

FYI the 'facts' are:

. The vaxes have been tested, reviewed and approved in exactly the same way as all other vaccines.

. the vaxes are 90% effective in reducing symptoms and preventing hospitalisation and death. (What does that even mean? It means that the symptoms, hospitalisations and deaths that would have been if there'd been no vax will be reduced by 90% ? Would that be what it is claiming? So if so how do we work all that out? Different calculation of 'symptoms', for 'hospitalisations' and 'deaths', it'd be, right? Seems mad to me, when Israel is full of cases after numerous doses.... but anyway... I need a venue where it can be explained to me.

. vaccines generally do not have late onset side effects and covid vaxes are no different.

. fertility issues are not a side effect.

They seem starkly untrue to me.

. they haven't been tested and reviewed properly at all.

. I can't see they're reducing anything in Israel at least.

. How do you know what 'late onset' until 'late' ? And it's not 'late after' yet.

. How can they know this?

If anyone can help with some links or something that'd be good.

If dressing up like a cat is the worst thing she's ever done I'd say Finland is pretty darn lucky. Because that's trivial by comparison to what a lot of other leaders have been caught doing or brag about doing (Epstein and his island anyone?). At least she's not hurting anybody. And as for having a night out seems there's a few American politicians I can name that do the same sort of thing but tell the rest of us we should stay in our catbeds and crates.
