seemed easy to bring Trump back... so what is the holdup with freaking famous Doctors who did nothing wrong?

Expand full comment

i suspect it's just the volume of the thing combined with the political complexity and sensitivity.

if you just re-enable everyone, you're going to inevitably wind up replatforming some pedo porn ring and the media will shove it down your throat.

i can see wanting to play this cautiously to avoid that.

I'm sure he still got some bad apples lying around the joint as well.

Ending the COVID misinformation moderation but not reinstating those deplatformed solely by it is a bad look IMHO.

I think he only brought trump back to bring back conservatives that left and went to truth social or Gettr. Probably another ploy to destroy trump.

He said he would *start* bringing them back so long as they weren't behaving illegally... It will take time to figure who that is.

Not a clue, just saying there doesn’t seem to be a clear pattern of who is allowed and who is not, or what exactly misinformation is (stupid to ask, I know.)

I think someone high profile has to ask Elon publicly. At least that's what happened in the cases of not so famous people being reinstated so far. I'm not saying el gato is not so famous, but i have no idea what his Twitter handle even was, so it's in that ballpark, for me. Since i can't see how many followers he had, i can't determine how popular he was, tho, ofc.

The bigger question for me, is when you do get Twitter access again; how much time are you going to split between there and Substack?

I hope your essays and so forth are all available on Substack and not split between the two platforms.

Sounds like you're still trying to figure out what you want to do once you get your account renewed?

I'm hoping your work product remains here. I just don't have time for Twitter.

It would be cool to see some of your activity on Twitter here at your home page with Substack.

Anyway just thinking out loud.

Berenson, while occasionally accurate, has been shilling for the other side all along, in my opinion. Or he can't read. JK, please don't sue me!

Long Covid is very real, and he is gaslighting millions.

Mixing huge lies into a lot of truth makes many folks swallow the whole gig. We must always think- who is saying what, and is it True?!

If not, WHY?

Long Covid? You mean vax injuries. People who believe they have "long covid" are almost universally "vaxed" but don't associate any health problems with the clot shot.

Even when a family member "dies suddenly" survivors don't even want to examine the vax as the cause. They can't even fathom thinking of it.

Guess all these people suddenly dying are going down to "long covid." 🤔

Oh Horsey my Equine Friend you have returned, galloping back to save us all from "misinformation!" RIGHT?

LOL.

Yes the vax injured are being covered up by an inaccurate "long covid" diagnosis. However there are entire communities of Freedom Loving Individuals such as myself who a) never fell for the wax, b) don't go work or live or rub check and jowl with the waxxed, c) got Covid, and,

d) had a devil of a time clearing up the consequences.

OR, DRUMROLL PLEASE, Had long covid!

Try being 60+, having the Fouci Flu, some metabolic syndrome, lung insufficiency, etc., and then try getting rid of the Covid Hangover fully.

It's not easy. ; ))

Stop gaslighting us my horsey friend, we know better. Go hang out with your buddy Berenson instead.

Greetings from the Triple Crown Stable! Everyone who suffered the protein spike should get a nice detox. In my case, I accidentally was detoxing with quercetin and zinc daily but there are a list of items that aid in this detoxification. I haven't been sick in well over two years, knock on the Belmont Stakes pen.

The second phase, inflammation in the lungs is consequential without proper early treatment and its impact is lasting, if not permanent. That's not "long covid," that's a ChiCom virus and/or clot shot vax injury.

Love the stable, it's my favorite place in the world!

(Other than a warm clear ocean with cetaceans to swim with!)

So, on the Long Covid thing- I work with some of the best. 😁

And we may use different names, but Long Covid describes many real human beings' experiences.

Unvaxxinated, and not shed on as well.

This bug is tricky and does not effect everyone the same way- we all have different "weak links" in the chain, and it does appear, like any "stressor" to find them.

I petsonally have used NAC, Vitamin C, and Ganaderma 18, to positive effect, but still am not 100%. Had "stuff" before F.F. so not surprised. Plus I'm the demographic this weapon was aimed at all along- boomer they owe debts to they cannot cover!

Now working with a top practioner and the treatments are tailored to my situation. Not everyone's which are all different. ; ))

It is frankly a rather youthful and naive perspective, IMHO, to think we are all identical and will respond to things exactly the same way.

("One man's "meat" (food) is another man's poison!) Ditto medicine. Or at least not as effective.

Working with those who succeed at healing Long Covid is an education.

I'm just guessing but my intuition says you are likely younger, and of the opposite sex than myself. Sometimes older heads can have much more wisdom than you may realize, just perhaps!?

There will be long term studies needed to analyze the impact to the human body due to the unnatural creation of the ChiCom virus. In no way, was I suggesting there is any universality to the impact. The experimentation having a bat virus attach to the human organism was incomplete at the time of its accidental escape from the Wuhan Level IV lab.

While I may be near your age in horse years, I am not immune to the suffering of others. In addition to the sudden deaths, anti-immune complications, pulmonary, heart issues and aggressive cancers, there is much to learn. I pray you are relieved of the negative effects.

I had it in June, was in agony for 1 month, then when better, i still couldn't exercise for another 2 months almost, severe shoulder blade pain (took me to ER twice thinking it was heart issue, but they said it was anxiety/panic attack), & stomach & chest pain. ER said i needed gallbladder removed, as i had very bad liver enzyme readings & sludge on gallbladder. In 2 months the pain in stomach & chest was gone & liver enzymes readings back to normal, but i still have debilitating anxiety/panic attacks. Unemployed & no insurance, so u can imagine the type of service i have access to (Obamacare says i made "too little" for the help paying premiums. How is that even an option?). So, i hear what u are saying. I was a skeptic of long covid before, reading Berenson's substack & Malone, & others, but i think u have convinced me. I get preached at by so many telling me covid is even fake, that everything i experienced (all the exact symptoms they list for covid, which many I've never had in my life, & I'm early 40's) was actually free radicals that would have happened anyways, not any virus. I know better than that. Skeptics gonna skeptic, ofc, but there's gotta be an acknowledgement of our shared reality & at least some facts we can agree on before i go down that rabbit hole with those people. Never vaxxed, btw, either. Take vitamin C, D, calcium, magnesium supplements already for anxiety, but couldn't afford to add all the new ones, or buy ivermectin, etc, else i would have at least tried. My 70 y/o mom got it bad too, but nowhere near what i experienced. Now she's having lung problems/constant pain also & seems sick all the time, & it sounds similar to what u mentioned about long covid. Neither of us ever got sick much before this. She's not vaxxed either, wouldn't even entertain the idea & now doesn't even want flu shots due to the blatant corruption of these people.

I had the bug in may and since have had what I’m calling reactive arthritis, although I really don’t think it’s that at all. My knees hurt mostly at night when I’m lying down... pain shoots up them towards hips, feels like it’s in the lymph nodes. Rolling on a foam roller helps more than anything... it comes and goes, but through it all I can still walk my hills with hardly any discomfort, and my hills are serious on my island. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I did the iver/prednisone from flccc for 14 days and it did nothing. Still experimenting on myself if you have any suggestions.

Long covid was around before the vax came out.

Expand full comment

It was around before even Covid-19 came out, in a fashion. I've read several articles that note that that the diverse symptoms of so-called "long Covid" are quite the same as Gulf War Syndrome, chronic fatigue, etc. This is not to say that there is not some underlying illness, rather that, at least by its symptoms, it's not a new thing. One of the worst problems, for the sufferer, is that he or she will commonly be blamed for being psychosomatic (made up illness). I'm sure that can happen, but I can also understand how a person suffering a real (but not readily apparent) hardship (think serious back pain) will be looked down upon by others and blamed for malingering.

I suspect Berenson wants to remain on good terms with all his friends at the NYT, so he will agree with certain positions they hold.

He's still part of that particular tribe.

Expand full comment

Nailed it, in my personal opinion!!

Or, working for pHarma from "the other side??" That seems more likely given the EXTREME danger to the entire plan Ivermectin posed and the ease of discovering the truth of what a game changer it really is/was/could have been! Mexico City killed it's pandemic with it, as did Utter Pradesh, if I remember. It and Kerala took the opposite treatment paths. The one with Ivermectin stopped Covid cold. Berenson can obviously read. So he was promoting vociferously a powerful untruth. Ivermectin's supposed ineffectiveness. There is really only one explanation. Just like the Together Trial funded by Sam Bankmad Fraud, which was used to destroy Ivermectin in the press and academia as well, he works for those that want us injected with the unknown substances in the "wax" that spreads and does what only God knows inside the human body.

That's my opinion because logically I cannot reach any other.

Finally, just listen to Dr. Pierre Kory or PhD Tess Lawrie.

Really Berenson? You know more than either the Respiratory Specialist daving lives with this drug, or a top British Drug Analyst advising the WHO?

Give me a break.

Such bold lies. We "normies" (psychologically,) cannot comprehend that people would tell such "whoppers!"

Expand full comment

There is only one thing I'd disagree with above.

You can see the truth. You're not a normie anymore.

We're outnumbered by the vaxxed masses who think we're getting back to normal at some point. But we're not. We -- the non-normies-- know that. They don't.

Expand full comment

Yes, I agree. We are not "normies" in the sense that we are seeing what's going on and the others are oblivious.

But in that last comment I meant "psychologically normal," as in doesn't gaslight and lie about basic fundamental reality.

Berenson does, as far as I can tell. And that is anything but "normal."

Expand full comment

Your final points are the most important. I'd add a final, yet rarely done step. Nietzsche was one of the first to speculate that we are driven by unconscious drives that even manipulate our supposed rational, logical thought. His example was "the prejudices of philosophers", that in effect a thinker decides (unconsciously) what The Truth is and then constructs his argument (dialectic) in support of it. Although Nietzsche didn't expand the concept, I'm sure other have, and the principle is applicable to all human thought. In other words, one can neatly sidestep what seems like the critical but often unanswerable question "What is really true?" with the more utilitarian question "Why is it necessary or desirable to believe that X is true?" Even the layman can do this, to some extent, although ideally he'll have some familiarity with psychology. For example, one can gain much insight into the news or even a public figure by asking not "Is he telling the truth?" but questions like "What are his likely motives for wanting to believe that such and such is true, or that others must be convinced of them?"

For many years, I preferred Apple computers to the Windoze OS like many. But when the notorious cry bully Taylor Lorenz joined in the call for rancid censorship and Elon's Twitter be banned from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store, it was clear what the Fascist Left was pushing.

Was so mad, went to find Tim Cook's contact info to tear him a new ass. Apple got the message as they are good at PR and apparently, a truce of sorts is underway.

While some have reported there's a release of accounts with larger ones getting freed from Twatter Jail, others are not seeing similar outcomes. The prisoner exodus seems to have slowed considerably and expectations of all Goolag prisoners' release is causing some itchy distress.

The new EU regulations on free speech are obnoxious and seem to take the continent further away from anything like the 1st. Amendment.

I thought the UK was bad, as we have notoriously oligarch-friendly libel laws, making it easy to shut down criticism. But in some other European countries, libel is still a *crime*. At least here it's only a civil matter.

I think that Norway (not in the EU), Sweden and Denmark will have decent free speech laws. I doubt that many others do.

Expand full comment

Your comments match what I've read. Speaking in practical terms, Musk faces many dilemmas. He wants an international product. But as you've noted, there are vastly different standards on what speech is allowable in different nations. To remain acceptable, a social media co. must either censor (pardon me, "moderate content") to suit each individual jurisdiction. More cost-effective to apply a one-size-fits-all muzzle. If I were Musk, I would take a "fuck you" attitude and let other nations try and ban my product or censor communication, forcing them to reveal themselves as the neo-fascist regimes that they really are.

For those not familiar with the issues, consider this example. In the USA it's protected speech to for example, deny that the Jewish Holocaust happened or to make racially offensive comments and such. You will likely get banned, fired from your job and not receive any more invitations to cocktail parties in DC, but it's protected speech by the First Amendment. But if you say those things in many countries you risk fines or even prison terms. Yes really, no kidding.

Expand full comment

I didn't know until recently that many other European countries take a dimmer view of free speech than the UK does. In many of them, libel is a *criminal* offence.

Their legal systems are different ... and inferior, based on what I now know.

Yes, best to use the First Amendment, then leave it to countries to censor further if they dare (Most will).

Things take time. I’m in business. This could take months. This is an issue that needs watching because the time it takes to do something is sometimes a cover for NOT doing it. And sometimes it is just taking time to finish the task. The Star Trek ‘Make it so, #2’, and then it happens doesn’t work in real life. Real life is messy. Unbreaking eggs already made into an omelet is way harder than starting from scratch with new eggs. One of the reasons pols don’t actually work on solving problems is because the solution is seldom neat and clean and easy. It usually is the best one can get done at that time. Which means it isn’t perfect and it leaves some people unhappy. And it costs more than you hoped it would cost. Etc. Obviously even bad cats should be allowed back on Twitter. I’d be shocked if that doesn’t happen. But it could take awhile.
