Since mid-2020 the “public service” adverts on the radio have been driving me crazy. It’s just taxpayer paid propaganda.
Just now I heard the worst one yet - a little girl’s voice saying, “Daddy, I know you are scared of the vaccine, but, will you get the vaccine…. For me?”
I literally started yelling at the sky when I heard that.
No discussion at all of what happens to little Susie when dad has a stroke or heart attack or develops a long term illness in response to a virus with a 99.9% survival rate.
GVB accurately stated that 'anti-vaxxer' is just a lazy label thrown out in order to not deal with the actual concerns/arguments. It's no different than calling someone who doesn't want an aspirin as an 'anti-piller'.
What's missing from the general public's assessment is that, generally speaking, if you take a drug and then stop, the effects of the drug eventually wear off. But a vaccine is more like a firmware change than a software one and you don't necessarily get to clear that programming.
I'm still most bothered by statements about natural immunity. Despite more than a century of epidemiological and virological study indicating that natural immunity rocks holy ass, we are forced to swat away such verbal vomit as "vaccines are better than natural immunity" and "even if you've had the Coof, you need to be vaccinated" (with zero proof for why because there is none). The one that bothers me most is perhaps the least offensive on initial reading. I think it bothers me most because it consists of that mealy-mouthed "doubtspeak" that punches a hole in reality while saying, "Hey, I'm not saying one way or another, I'm just sayin'." Because deep down you know that the person saying it is a fucking liar. That statement is this: "Although natural immunity MAY confer some protection against COVID-19, the strength and duration of that protection are UNKNOWN AT THIS TIME." Because they can't say, "But just for the record, every other time in human history, natural immunity has been da bomb. And oh, btw, vaccines only work because of your immune system, so . . ." Bunch of idiots.
I'm just pleased to know that two-and-a-half years in, they finally determined that COVID-19 is causing all the "unexplained" heart attacks, none of which started until more than a year after the Coof hit. This BS is making my fucking head spin like a top.
Someone posted a screenshot of two Twitter comments by the same doctor. In an earlier one, he mentioned natural immunity as one of the ways people will be immune to corona. In a second Tweet from, I believe, 3 weeks later, he said, "Natural immunity--a term I am not familiar with..." Sigh.
They don’t even have to put in any effort to keep the idiots fooled now. That is how low most of “society” has fallen in terms of collective IQ. Your video being a precise (and hilarious) example.
I threw away a campaign flyer yesterday that claimed the Sacramento Democrats have been fighting to keep schools open--this is a lie. In reality, the Sacramento Democrats would love to close all public schools, for "Grandma's safety" until every toddler has been boosted at least 10 times.
Amazing how most of those video quotes (except about Trump specifically) are people saying verbatim what Team Reality has been saying about the shots since Dec. 2020, which is about when the narrative flipped 180deg.

Dr. McCullough, who works with Turning Point USA (a red flag perhaps?/do you search for doctors that give speeches for ACLU?)... has quite a history. What an embarrassment. The largest nonprofit health system filed a temporary restraining order against him just to get him to stop mentioning their prior affiliation. This is the guy who interviewed with Joe Rogan who falsely pushed the SPARS pandemic scenario as a planning seminar to push mass vaccination.
We are so grateful to the many thousands of people who have been working as hard as they ever have in the past 2 years of our lives to get these vaccines ready. We are grateful for the people who built the testing infrastructure, who administered the vaccines, who care for the sick through all of this. Grateful to have some immunity from COVID and the vaccines without having to carry it to someone more vulnerable.
There have been aggressive disinformation campaigns on social media and if you get sucked into that rabbit hole, you can start to believe in a lot of crazy things. You start tying your identity into those beliefs, digging in. But yet, I’m sure there’s another argument we haven’t heard. And we do not want to become a professional vaccine arguers. It’s exhausting. It’s not based on logic, but fear. If your goal is to bring people together, to get more people vaccinated, you accomplish the opposite."

You do not understand. Vaccines were not safe in 2020, because Trump was the president. He is a bad person, so everything he does is bad.
As soon as Trump ceased to be the president, vaccines became "save and effective".
Why?
Because, "we" are the good people. So, everything we do and say is good.
