Just now I heard the worst one yet - a little girl’s voice saying, “Daddy, I know you are scared of the vaccine, but, will you get the vaccine…. For me?”
I literally started yelling at the sky when I heard that.
No discussion at all of what happens to little Susie when dad has a stroke or heart attack or develops a long term illness in response to a virus with a 99.9% survival rate.
It was in front of me for so long, but I simply didn't see it. Who pays the piper calls the tune. Then in 2020 it clicked: given the number of commercials for "noodle arm syndrome" medications, the drug companies call the tune in televised media.
You'll never see a 60 minutes report on Covid vaxxes like you saw on Swine Flu. Your local station won't report emergency cases as vaxx injuries as long as those government adverts play.
The advertising model wrecks everything it touches.
If we ever get a good admin and good congress at the same time (God willing!), I think outlawing drug advertising on TV, like it used to be, should be legislation #1.
And those ads may be the incorporated-over-decades hypnotic model for accepting cognitive dissonance as delineated on this substack. I hadn't seen these ads as I hadn't watched tv with commercials in a very long time, but I found them flabberghasting when I finally did. Always some bunch of happy active people smiling, with the (can't recall the word for this) news- ticker- like lines of text running below stating horrible side effects finishing with "even death". I saw one with a tall Hispanic woman inside in the dark, the drug being for weight loss, and one of the side effects being "bleeding from the palms." Bleeding from the palms?? Like the Big Pharma stigmata? Then, the one I still get online, for COPD, "Trelegy". They have such contempt for us that they can embed an insinuation that you will die ("elegy") in a drug name. Just imagine what those constant repetitions are doing to tv watchers' minds. [insert here how I think they should spend eternity]
I was in the car one day, and an advert came on for an LVAD. This is a Left Ventricle Assistance Device for heart failure patients. I only knew this from some crazy episodes of Grey's Anatomy back in the day. Am I supposed to demand an LVAD from my doctor, because I heard an ad on the radio? Why on earth would I be recommending heart assistive device to a cardiologist? I mean, the gravity of what we unleashed really hit at that moment. I don't trust most med professionals, but it's a bridge too far to have patients demanding a type or brand of heart device with no medical training. Also, that device will probably expedite your death, LOL.
We need public financing of all elections, totally capped, with no PAC or corporate funding, 10 year bans from being hired in industries you regulated. No direct to consumer drug advertising, no mandates on any product where the manufacturer has liability protection. If they won't take the risk, we can't offload it one others. Just to get started.

Reading about the Gulf Sultanates, I came across the phrase "no representation without taxation." In other words, since the governments there could print all the money they wanted by pumping oil or gas out of the ground, they didn't have to tax people or give them a voice in government. It's an interesting argument.
Of course, last fiscal year the Federal Government covered I think about 50% of the budget with taxes; the rest was borrowed or printed into existence. They don't have to listen if we don't directly pay. Of course we all pay in inflation.
Following the massive spending passed in 2021, the current budget exceeds the capability to tax to revenue neutral. No matter what tax schemes are promised, it can't work. The "tax the rich" mantra is fine prime time but the math doesn't work: Confiscating ALL the wealth of every billionaire in America will fund the current federal spending rate for less than months.
Looking for why inflation is running away? Doubling energy costs through idiotic policies shutting down production is half the story. Devaluation of the currency due the fact we can't sustain our debt is a big part too.
I agree with your view stated here but it’s not the whole picture. Here in Australia our national broadcaster (ABC) that has no advertising but a government master, has and continues to give out some of the worst fear porn. We’re coping it from all sides. But, it’s not that long ago that I was still defending the ABC as being the most balanced here in Aus. As disturbing as it’s been to finally see through the ‘piper’. Like you, I’m glad I finally can.

I think having like minded people in power in government and as the heads and mouthpieces of the media is at least as big of a problem- for example, when a republican is president the “news” spends most of its time shrieking and attacking everything he does and says. I don’t think it’s just the advertising model.

The one here in Illinois that's making me scream to the sky is an advert for Gov. Stay-Puft's re-election campaign. A black teenage girl is praising him for providing increased psychiatric/mental health services for adolescents dealing with the pandemic. I'm like, "HE CAUSED THE FUCKING PROBLEMS!!!" I only see it rarely if I'm changing my mother's bed or some other chore in her room since she watches broadcast television and I don't.

What's missing from the general public's assessment is that, generally speaking, if you take a drug and then stop, the effects of the drug eventually wear off. But a vaccine is more like a firmware change than a software one and you don't necessarily get to clear that programming.
I'm still most bothered by statements about natural immunity. Despite more than a century of epidemiological and virological study indicating that natural immunity rocks holy ass, we are forced to swat away such verbal vomit as "vaccines are better than natural immunity" and "even if you've had the Coof, you need to be vaccinated" (with zero proof for why because there is none). The one that bothers me most is perhaps the least offensive on initial reading. I think it bothers me most because it consists of that mealy-mouthed "doubtspeak" that punches a hole in reality while saying, "Hey, I'm not saying one way or another, I'm just sayin'." Because deep down you know that the person saying it is a fucking liar. That statement is this: "Although natural immunity MAY confer some protection against COVID-19, the strength and duration of that protection are UNKNOWN AT THIS TIME." Because they can't say, "But just for the record, every other time in human history, natural immunity has been da bomb. And oh, btw, vaccines only work because of your immune system, so . . ." Bunch of idiots.
I'm just pleased to know that two-and-a-half years in, they finally determined that COVID-19 is causing all the "unexplained" heart attacks, none of which started until more than a year after the Coof hit. This BS is making my fucking head spin like a top.
The argument, as far as I could figure it out, was "but look at the ANTIBODIES vaccinated people have!!!! So many antibodies. More than natural immunity!" The question of whether more antibodies = better protection was never answered, because *of course* more is better! We're Americans, aren't we?
Yep. Pre-vaccine, the presence of antibodies after infection and recovery did NOT mean we were immune, or so we were told. At best, said the CDC, we had maybe 90 days of immunity because the antibodies began to wane after that. T-cells and B-cells were simply ignored by the "experts."
Once the vaccines were rolled out, antibodies became the marker used to "prove" the vaccines were working. The more Abs, the better. But the fully vaccinated should by no means go and get antibody-tested at the local pharmacy to see if their jabs had taken effect. Hmm.
Then we found out how fast the unnaturally-high levels of antibodies wane in the vaxxed after the first 3 months or so, something like 40% per month compared to 5-10% per month after natural infection. And we saw the vaxxed Abs plummet to undetectable levels in well under a year, while naturally-induced antibodies plateaued and maintained a constant low level. "We'll just add a booster! It should have been a 3-dose series all along. That'll fix it!"
The first booster pushed antibodies even higher than the original series, and they came crashing down even faster. Along came omicron, and those antibodies didn't work too well against it. The response, of course: "Time for another booster! With more antibodies, there will be more in circulation that work against the variant!"
Now here we are, with the FV&2B cohort getting infected in spite of all those antibodies, and it isn't necessarily mild. *cough*Gavin Newsom, 10 days after his fourth jab*cough*.
Here in NZ they are bombarding folks with propaganda on radio and TV telling them that if their kids get omicron they should wait 3 month then get them vaccinated. I mean seriously how dumb would you have to be to get your kids done once they’re recovered? I guess it really is an international IQ test. Sad that their could be unknown long term consequences for the health of these young people, who were just born in the wrong place at the wrong time to parents who trusted the government and MSM.
Someone posted a screenshot of two Twitter comments by the same doctor. In an earlier one, he mentioned natural immunity as one of the ways people will be immune to corona. In a second Tweet from, I believe, 3 weeks later, he said, "Natural immunity--a term I am not familiar with..." Sigh.

I really wish more people would at least consider this course. Fact: I only know {edited} FOUR people over the age of 55 that are unvaxxed. My husband, myself, a natural health practitioner and her husband . Everyone else is vaxxed and boosted multiple times, and will continue to do so because it will keep them "safe." And they are happy to do so. Some have had side effects that they do not attribute to the vaxx; there was a heart attack death in the family that happened five days after the Pfizer vaxx, but no one connects it to the vaxx. His parents are vaxxed and double boosted.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this! My younger brother (I’m 1 of 7) completely severed ties with my mom. It has broken her heart because they were quite close but she now won’t be able to see him or her 2 granddaughters. He believes he is smarter than us all! I’m a nurse of 33 years, and I’ve worked in clinical research including a Pfizer study, but he’s smarter than me too! He has no medical background. I have 2 other siblings who are vaxxed but not insane or willing to cut ties. One did it at the beginning because his wife was undergoing cancer treatment and he thought it was the right thing to do. He said he would never give it to his daughter though. The other is a diabetic and believes in it. The rest of us, including my mom, said no thank you! I hope you have other family/friends who support you. God bless on your recovery!

I don't know what to say, really. My deepest sympathies, and you son-in-law sounds very immature and insecure if you pardon me for saying so. My mother-in-law and me are of very different political opinions about most things (she had quite a severe case of TDS in 2016/2017 despite us being swedes, while I just quipped 'Well, in a democracy anyone is supposed to be able to be eleceted by the will of the people') but that has never stopped us from civil discourse or associating as family.

At present I am not on speaking terms with anyone in my family - all three sisters, and some nephews and a niece who won't go against their mother. This is about politics as well as covid, they are all extreme far-left liberals with unbelievable TDS, they are okay with hormone blockers in kids, etc. I got tired of all the hate and craziness, the gaslighting...so I'm taking a break. It was my choice, so it's not as painful a situation as yours. I think of them every day, and say prayers that no one dies from the jabs they were badgering me to take. I pray that one day we will find reconciliation, but I wonder if it will be possible. My partner had the same thing happen recently with his crazy Karen sister, she yelled and screamed and called him names because of his politics, etc. (she "adores Fauci!"; this is a clue). I think this is happening everywhere, between friends and family members. All I can suggest is, do all you can to stay in touch with your daughter, even if she does not reply, maybe send her ecards here and there and tell her you love her and are thinking of her, just that. Don't mention her husband or the breakup, no beseeching or guilt-tripping (I've been down this road, you see), just let her know you are holding her in your heart. She'll figure it out. I am so grateful for my husband, and the distraction of caring for my 98 year old father at his very fancy rich people retirement community (Ashby Ponds, Virginia, google it. Amazing, but $$$$$$$) Anyway
Yes I have endured this drama, but other as well. My younger brother is very arrogant, gosh I do not know how much I have shared here. My life these past few years has been like a stupid annoying drama. My hubbs is so stable and calm, he always pulls me back in. I am not weak, but I have a tender heart.
Anyway, My daughter sent us a card and blah blah blah... and "when we feel the time is right, we will connect with you" - yes, sadly, I found that insulting.
When their time is right?
Well, I miss my daughter. I texted her last week and told her I missed her. We used to be very verrrry close. She said she missed me and that was about it. I realized her husband, that I used to really like, actually I loved him. He seemed kind and fun. Now I see a part of him that is in his person. He is controlling. I also see that this is something in his family.
I could really write a book. It would be a boring but my gosh, I have connected so much.
We are still not communicating. I think her husband is in control. Now he works from home too, so there is no way for me to come and visit for a few hours sneaky like. Well, the babies would spill it.
I will end here, but just so you know, I greatly appreciate all of everyones encouraging and most kind words.

My son in law told me years ago that his parents cut ties with his father's parents in Wisconsin. They did not communicate for 17 years.
That seemed entirely weird.
You know, this is all new to me, and to my husband. We came from families of normal people. At least I thought. Everyone has weirdos in the family. I thought long and hard about my older sister (now deceased) and the mentally abusive man she married. He was a jerk. She died from smoking, had a aneurysm in 2000 and died.

I have not brought this up, obviously, with my daughter. I do not know what she is thinking. I know she needs to hold this together for her three babies all under age 5.
This is a saga that I believe many many kind and lovely people are experiencing these past few years.
I also believe that this has been generated by the environment we are living in. the circumstances of division and derision encouraged by... well, politics and those associated with creating this horrible state of human exchange or any sort of understanding for others. Where has that gone?
Even my 98 year old father has been brainwashed by the Washington Compost and online news he reads. It is sad. I do not engage in any possibly contentious discussions with him. At all. We talk about happy things. I steer the conversation if he brings something up.

The Turkish and French studies both identified mad cow cases that suddenly and unexpectedly appeared after people got the safe and effective Pfizer, Moderna, and AstraZeneca vaccines, suggesting links between getting spike-protein vaccines and being infected with mad cow. Since unstable mRNA can sometimes be erroneously transcribed within cells, the U.S. study speculated that a misfolded spike protein could create a misfolded “prion region” which injures healthy prions, leading to mad cow disease.
The French study found mad cow symptoms started within 11 days of being vaccinated; the Turkish study found symptoms appearing the next day after vaccination. Of the 26 patients involved in the French study, all of them — 100% — died. On average, death occurred five months after receiving the safe and effective jabs.
The pre-jab form of mad cow used to take years to kill folks. The researchers describe this vaccine-induced form of mad cow disease as “radically different” due to its progression, which is faster than anything they’ve ever seen before in a prion disease.

So there you have it. It wasn’t a “rushed experimental drug.” According to PFIZER ITSELF, it was an “exigency-driven prototype manufacturing demonstration not subject to good clinical practices and related FDA regulations.” It’s totally different from an experiment. This was a “demonstration.”

I was in the car one day, and an advert came on for an LVAD. This is a Left Ventricle Assistance Device for heart failure patients. I only knew this from some crazy episodes of Grey's Anatomy back in the day. Am I supposed to demand an LVAD from my doctor, because I heard an ad on the radio? Reading about the Gulf Sultanates, I came across the phrase "no representation without taxation." Following the massive spending passed in 2021, the current budget exceeds the capability to tax to revenue neutral. No matter what tax schemes are promised, it can't work. The "tax the rich" mantra is fine prime time but the math doesn't work: Confiscating ALL the wealth of every billionaire in America will fund the current federal spending rate for less than months.
Looking for why inflation is running away? Doubling energy costs through idiotic policies shutting down production is half the story. Devaluation of the currency due the fact we can't sustain our debt is a big part too.

Here in Australia our national broadcaster (ABC) that has no advertising but a government master, has and continues to give out some of the worst fear porn. We’re coping it from all sides. I'm still most bothered by statements about natural immunity. Despite more than a century of epidemiological and virological study indicating that natural immunity rocks holy ass, we are forced to swat away such verbal vomit as "vaccines are better than natural immunity" and "even if you've had the Coof, you need to be vaccinated" (with zero proof for why because there is none). The one that bothers me most is perhaps the least offensive on initial reading. I think it bothers me most because it consists of that mealy-mouthed "doubtspeak" that punches a hole in reality while saying, "Hey, I'm not saying one way or another, I'm just sayin'." Because deep down you know that the person saying it is a fucking liar. That statement is this: "Although natural immunity MAY confer some protection against COVID-19, the strength and duration of that protection are UNKNOWN AT THIS TIME." Because they can't say, "But just for the record, every other time in human history, natural immunity has been da bomb. And oh, btw, vaccines only work because of your immune system, so . . ." Bunch of idiots.
I'm just pleased to know that two-and-a-half years in, they finally determined that COVID-19 is causing all the "unexplained" heart attacks, none of which started until more than a year after the Coof hit. This BS is making my fucking head spin like a top.
The argument, as far as I could figure it out, was "but look at the ANTIBODIES vaccinated people have!!!! So many antibodies. More than natural immunity!" The question of whether more antibodies = better protection was never answered, because *of course* more is better! We're Americans, aren't we?
Yep. Pre-vaccine, the presence of antibodies after infection and recovery did NOT mean we were immune, or so we were told. At best, said the CDC, we had maybe 90 days of immunity because the antibodies began to wane after that. T-cells and B-cells were simply ignored by the "experts."
Once the vaccines were rolled out, antibodies became the marker used to "prove" the vaccines were working. The more Abs, the better. But the fully vaccinated should by no means go and get antibody-tested at the local pharmacy to see if their jabs had taken effect. Hmm.
Then we found out how fast the unnaturally-high levels of antibodies wane in the vaxxed after the first 3 months or so, something like 40% per month compared to 5-10% per month after natural infection. And we saw the vaxxed Abs plummet to undetectable levels in well under a year, while naturally-induced antibodies plateaued and maintained a constant low level. "We'll just add a booster! It should have been a 3-dose series all along. That'll fix it!"
The first booster pushed antibodies even higher than the original series, and they came crashing down even faster. Along came omicron, and those antibodies didn't work too well against it. The response, of course: "Time for another booster! With more antibodies, there will be more in circulation that work against the variant!"
Now here we are, with the FV&2B cohort getting infected in spite of all those antibodies, and it isn't necessarily mild. *cough*Gavin Newsom, 10 days after his fourth jab*cough*.
Here in NZ they are bombarding folks with propaganda on radio and TV telling them that if their kids get omicron they should wait 3 month then get them vaccinated. They always include something astonishing and a couple-few web site addresses where people can go to learn more. At grocery stores and gas stations I hand them out to strangers. “Be well!” and “You are not alone!” Are usually included as well.

I threw away a campaign flyer yesterday that claimed the Sacramento Democrats have been fighting to keep schools open--this is a lie. In reality, the Sacramento Democrats would love to close all public schools, for "Grandma's safety" until every toddler has been boosted at least 10 times.

So, I have not seen them in two weeks, right after this snarky email, he came out with a lot of scolding statements and accusing me of saying things I personally do not recall. That next day, I got up had major abdominal surgery.
So I went in feeling quite crushed. My daughter has not said anything.
I’m so sorry you’re going through this! My younger brother (I’m 1 of 7) completely severed ties with my mom. It has broken her heart because they were quite close but she now won’t be able to see him or her 2 granddaughters. He believes he is smarter than us all! I’m a nurse of 33 years, and I’ve worked in clinical research including a Pfizer study, but he’s smarter than me too! He has no medical background. I have 2 other siblings who are vaxxed but not insane or willing to cut ties. One did it at the beginning because his wife was undergoing cancer treatment and he thought it was the right thing to do. He said he would never give it to his daughter though. The other is a diabetic and believes in it. The rest of us, including my mom, said no thank you! I hope you have other family/friends who support you. God bless on your recovery!
this rings clearly to me. I am a nurse as well. Even struggled through to get my BSN. I am long time retired but what we learned we do not forget, the common sense parts of all of that science, piles and piles of science

I'm sorry you're going through this. Right now, your son in law is brainwashed. There is nothing you can do about that. NOTHING. Maybe he'll change his thinking at some point. Maybe not. In the meantime, you don't need to be exposed to a destructive person.
You've done the right thing. I don't know if you'll be able to continue to have a relationship with your daughter, but right now, this is the right thing to do for your own peace of mind.
Please, may I slap his face? Tweak his nose? What an unkind person. This issue has cost us a lot of friends, and some who stay in touch (with gritted teeth, it would seem) like to scold us all the time. I must say, I'm a bit tired of that, and have grown a bit testy.
I think that makes all the difference. I cannot imagine being in a couple where you hold different positions on this, it would be unbearable. And yet I know situations and couples where this is so.

I don't know what to say, really. My deepest sympathies, and you son-in-law sounds very immature and insecure if you pardon me for saying so. My mother-in-law and me are of very different political opinions about most things (she had quite a severe case of TDS in 2016/2017 despite us being swedes, while I just quipped 'Well, in a democracy anyone is supposed to be able to be eleceted by the will of the people') but that has never stopped us from civil discourse or associating as family.
I hope he grows up and comes around to apologising which he should hat in hand, because regardless of opinion that kind of behaviour of his is one you're supposed to have outgrown before puberty, really.

Rosemary dear, my heart truly goes out to you. I know how this hurts. At present I am not on speaking terms with anyone in my family - all three sisters, and some nephews and a niece who won't go against their mother. This is about politics as well as covid, they are all extreme far-left liberals with unbelievable TDS, they are okay with hormone blockers in kids, etc. I got tired of all the hate and craziness, the gaslighting...so I'm taking a break. It was my choice, so it's not as painful a situation as yours. I think of them every day, and say prayers that no one dies from the jabs they were badgering me to take. I pray that one day we will find reconciliation, but I wonder if it will be possible. My partner had the same thing happen recently with his crazy Karen sister, she yelled and screamed and called him names because of his politics, etc. (she "adores Fauci!"; this is a clue). I think this is happening everywhere, between friends and family members. All I can suggest is, do all you can to stay in touch with your daughter, even if she does not reply, maybe send her ecards here and there and tell her you love her and are thinking of her, just that. Don't mention her husband or the breakup, no beseeching or guilt-tripping (I've been down this road, you see), just let her know you are holding her in your heart. She'll figure it out. Take care of yourself, and remember that love will always prevail. Bless you.

I am so grateful for my husband, and the distraction of caring for my 98 year old father at his very fancy rich people retirement community (Ashby Ponds, Virginia, google it. Amazing, but $$$$$$$) Anyway
Yes I have endured this drama, but other as well. My younger brother is very arrogant, gosh I do not know how much I have shared here. My life these past few years has been like a stupid annoying drama. My hubbs is so stable and calm, he always pulls me back in. I am not weak, but I have a tender heart.
Anyway, My daughter sent us a card and blah blah blah... and "when we feel the time is right, we will connect with you" - yes, sadly, I found that insulting.
When their time is right?
Well, I miss my daughter. I texted her last week and told her I missed her. We used to be very verrrry close. She said she missed me and that was about it. I realized her husband, that I used to really like, actually I loved him. He seemed kind and fun. Now I see a part of him that is in his person. He is controlling. I also see that this is something in his family.
I could really write a book. It would be a boring but my gosh, I have connected so much.
We are still not communicating. I think her husband is in control. Now he works from home too, so there is no way for me to come and visit for a few hours sneaky like. Well, the babies would spill it.
I will end here, but just so you know, I greatly appreciate all of everyones encouraging and most kind words.
All of you that are struggling, I know how you feel, I know where you are standing. Focus on all of the goodness that you have. Keep your heads straight and calm.

I feel different now. Is that weird? I feel like a differnt person. I feel like this entire ordeal has been abusive.
My son in law told me years ago that his parents cut ties with his father's parents in Wisconsin. They did not communicate for 17 years.
That seemed entirely weird.
You know, this is all new to me, and to my husband. We came from families of normal people. At least I thought. Everyone has weirdos in the family. I thought long and hard about my older sister (now deceased) and the mentally abusive man she married. He was a jerk. She died from smoking, had a aneurysm in 2000 and died.
So, with that thinking about controlling people. ..... think about that for a moment. Controlling people.
I have not brought this up, obviously, with my daughter. I do not know what she is thinking. I know she needs to hold this together for her three babies all under age 5.
This is a saga that I believe many many kind and lovely people are experiencing these past few years.
I also believe that this has been generated by the environment we are living in. the circumstances of division and derision encouraged by... well, politics and those associated with creating this horrible state of human exchange or any sort of understanding for others. Where has that gone?

I read somewhere in the last couple days that dementia was rising, and quickly. Cannot recall the source. Also Dr Been had a guest on a few months ago hinting that he expected this.
