Lol never mind the fact that masks don't prevent the spread of viruses and were never designed to. It's astounding to me how normalized this behavior has become. It's actually terrifying. People just waltz around with them on as if it's routine. Like putting your shoes and socks on in the morning. COVER THAT SNOUT!

People who wear them 24/7 blindly complying with ridiculous mandates are weak-minded, ignorant to actual science, and frankly, idiotic. So, when is it okay to take them off? When daddy government tells you that you can? I severely underestimated the collective IQ of the average individual. As in, it's really, REALLY low.
There are countless studies about mask efficacy and it all points to them being wildly ineffective to a downright complete waste of time. Heck, it's common sense. How exactly is a medical mask going to stop a nanoscopic particle? It's not. Ever. This is all about fear and tricking people into thinking they too can be immortal if they'd just. mask. up. In your heart of hearts, deep down in the pit of your soul, you'd have to think that surely one must adhere to logic and common sense, right? Nope. MASK UP! In fact, double up!! That'll surely stop the spread.
Have people once stopped and thought that "Hey, we've been complying and wearing these face diapers for almost 2 years now and they haven't done a single f'ing thing?" Nope, more virtue signaling. Heck, even some of the workers in stores I've talked to know it's bullsh*t.
After a number of IQ tests over my 65 years of life I am consistently in the the top 4% of the population. I used to be quite proud of this as I am not academic. However, I now realise with much of the population apparently having an IQ of about 10 my top 4% isn't perhaps all that good.
I think laziness and making unfounded assumptions is a large part of the problem.
My husband was diagnosed with eye cancer, and died after two awful years of monthly chemo treatments in a Philadelphia hospital. I sat there as he was rolled out of the operating room. NEVER ONCE did a hospital employee wear a mask outside of that procedure room. NEVER ONCE did a hospital employee wear one in his recovery room or his bedroom. But I’m sure they all do now…..
That's the other piece to it; people make these bizarre connections and idiotic "procedures" that make absolutely no sense at all. A popular one is to put a mask on when you enter a restaurant, but then take it off when you sit down. As if COVID's taking a Lil break while you eat. Lmao.
Yes, terrifying. Masks are not benign. they are bacteria incubators. Like putting a Petri dish on your face to breath through. Yet people will argue “It’s all about reduction, dummy!”. Yes it may reduce the virus in and out but not enough to matter and can even increase your chances of not just getting sick but catching Covid. Numskulls.
Think about how many times you're out and about and someone's like "Be safe!" It's like another weird, subtle form of virtue signaling. Be safe. I mean, really? There are things you can do to minimize risk, sure. Like, don't pull out into oncoming traffic, be alert at all times, don't bang a prostitute, carry a gun if you want (you get the idea). But people die literally every day for thousands of different reasons. You can't stop death from happening to you. When it's your time to die, that's it. You're done.
COVID is just another to add to the list, but the kicker is that your chances of dying from it are way lower than say, heart disease, or cancer, or pick any of the societal health issues we have. If people, instead of trying to put a band-aid on a broken leg, took personal responsibility for their health and well-being, there would be way less disease across the board. I know some folks who haven't gotten the flu in over 10 years (and I haven't gotten it in 5+) and this just in, it's NOT because they/I went and got a f'ing vaccine, or put a fishnet over their mouth. Sheesh. As if that's the solution to all of life's problems.
No, the reason is that they respect their bodies and make every effort to provide them with the necessary vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients that it REQUIRES to function correctly. This is not f'ing rocket science. Because the irony is that they're now all of a sudden professing to somehow "care about health and safety" even though they've proven OVER and OVER by their actions that health was NEVER a priority. Ever.
Just look at the never-ending fast food lines for proof of that. Or people who still smoke cigarettes even though it's literally 2021. The list goes on and on. People LOVE to abuse themselves and overindulge to the point where they're begging for a quick fix.
Never mind the fact that your natural immunity is much stronger than a vaccine over the long term. I'm going to stop now. I seriously sometimes want to bang my head against a wall.
Even if I'm completely wrong about all of this, it's STILL MY personal choice whether or not I put a mask on or get a vaccine. I make that decision, not some bureaucrat. And if it's not a choice anymore, then this is not America anymore. It's something completely different.

And don't even get me started on vaccines.

Yep! Sometimes I get full of myself thinking how smart I am, then I remember I'm comparing myself to other humans. ;)

Yep, and for absolutely no medical nor scientific reason. They are sheeple just like the rest.

I read a great article from the Federalist talking about how it taps into people's fear of dying, but also this weird notion of "safety" and all this other garbage. https://thefederalist.com/2021/09/29/new-york-governor-confirms-covidianism-is-a-pagan-cult/
